You can set the number of video frames for which the "chips" are displayed in Ketsui DL. Go into the "option" menu, then the "game config" menu, then you can change "box disp" to a certain number of video frames.
@luca91274 It is best to be on defaults because changing it's box display setting could mean huge trouble to your ship when playing it. This is even true when playing as either ships A or B
