  • He wont be eating your polyps, he'll be eating the copepods and amphripods on the coral. So don't be worried :)

  • haha the clown at the start lol playing with the camera

  • What song is this playing?

  • are u single?

  • @urwack123 Shut up.

  • Nice video

  • What kind of camera did you use to record this? Never mind, I see it in the tags. I have the SX110IS but the 20 seems to do a better job. Maybe it's the lighting. Your tank seems bright but maybe that's the cam too.

  • It's looking for copepods, you can see them swimming around in the coral. Gobies eat copepods.

  • maybe the fish is retarded and doesn't know what a copepod looks like

  • at 0:03 the fish pops up & hes like yo waud up

  • and how many pounds of live rock would you suggest for a mandarin i have a 55 gal tank with about 7lbs of live rock i think

  • @AnimalLover161 I don't know if you ever got your answer, but it's usually a pound of rock per gallon.

  • lol the maroon clown is sensoring the video its not age appropriate for anyone under 5 yrs old xP

  • Awesome. Great close up. Love the nosey clown too. My maroon clown does the same when I record my fish :)

  • My guess is that he is eating the copepods off of it.

  • ABSOLUTELY STUNNING FISH! Thank you for sharing!

  • You have an AMAZING camera, and also you just increased my desire for one of these. Thankyou:D

  • how long do you wait until ou take them frags off that egg crate on the side at the end of the video and put them on a peice of rock. And how do you do that.Do they go were they want you just place them in the tank?

i know i have a lot of question but shit your awsome.

  • beautiful fish

  • congrats on a real nice video, kraylen!

  • @ReefJournal Thanks man! I'm figuring this stuff out :)

  • why is it eating all the polyps off that poor sps?

and before you answer, smile :)

  • @sshilo Smiling is a emotion I am unable to show. :(

  • @sshilo :-) the Gobie isn't eating all the polyps off that coral. It's looking for copepods, you can see them swimming around in the coral. Gobies eat copepods.

  • @AquaticCastle dragonnet not goby, duh

    lol

  • @RaffleReefer10 It's very common for marine animals to have several names. Just because you haven't heard a fish called something in your neck of the woods doesn't mean it isn't called that in someone else's neck. Wikipedia Explains: The common name of the Mandarinfish comes from its extremely vivid colouration, evoking the robes of an Imperial Chinese mandarin. Other common names include Mandarin goby, Green mandarin, Striped mandarinfish, Striped dragonet, Green dragonet and sometimes.....

  • @AquaticCastle i don't get it.

  • @RaffleReefer10 Well, you said dragonnet not goby. I was just pointing out that it is called either or or both depending on who you are talking to or where they are from.

  • @AquaticCastle well scientifically speaking the're a dragonet not a goby. They shouldn't be called gobies because then beginners think the're easy to keep. just my 2 cents though.

  • I want one of those so bad!

  • omg!

  • Amazing picture quality! Why did you use to shoot this? Was it with a macro lens?
