Responsibility is right, it's the responsibility of individual sites to self regulate, it is the responsibility of parents to monitor their children's net activities. It is NOT the responsibility of the government to put baby locks on the internet that slows everything down and doesn't work.

What a misinformed viewpoint. The fact is the filter will only affect honest law abiding citizens. Pedophiles and terrorists will just bipass the filter, it will be a 44 million dollar white elephant. Anyone supporting the proposal google 'VPN' and get a little better informed. China spends far greater amounts of money on net censorship and that has been a complete failure. If content is illegal then that is for international authorities to work together and procecute those involved.
