  • i seen a stock one race on 22s and it smoked a srt8 witth heads can ect and drag radials by at least 5 cars

  • i am sick of seeing silver or gray gtrs why cant we go back to the classic blue, but it's a nice car though .

  • The 22s look great. Just because you buy a sports car doesn't mean you have to drive it crazy EVERYDAY. That why you can't buy a good used sports car without fixing a ton of ish that's wrong with it. Get sideways, pass a few cars now & then but take car of it so it won't be a Hoopty in less than a year!!!

  • NIce looking!

  • very nice..

  • its not like hes on the track...so he can put 22's on

  • Nissan Skyline GTR-R34 and NISSAN GT-R ARE THE CARS OF MY LIFE...

Too bad that I cant drive in my age.. :(

  • calm down, its his car. not everyone takes their car to the track, maybe he bought it for the "REAL" reason....To DRIVE.

  • where can u get them rims???

  • @punjabdaputhar Of course, Dunlop has a ton of aftermarket tires. But not those specific tires. There's a small chance that they do have similar tires that are low profile and fit these rims, but the thing is, we both already know that this guy did not put those on. And that's what I'm criticizing him for.

  • @punjabdaputhar Nope. Dunlop makes those tires specifically for the Nissan GT-R. Pleasure? haha, I bet he'd be pleased to see his car beaten by an average Evo or Corvette from a dig.

    Does look nice though.

  • @punjabdaputhar You don't seem to understand what I'm saying. Stock tires ARE the best tires. You can spend a million dollars are tires, and they still won't be as good. They even put special gas in the stock tires instead of regular air.

  • iFORGOT !!!

  • You guys are gay. He's not trying to break records at Nurburgring, or play Stig at the Top gear track. The rims (surprisingly) look great. Stick to playing GT5/Forza, and stop being such narrow minded fan boys. The only people who use the term "rotational mass" when referencing wheels are professional race car drivers, and internet nerds who probably don't even own vehicles. Obviously, the owners main concerns aren't cornering speeds, or brake fading, so shut the fuck up already!

  • Looks even better

  • Its not like he is going to drive the car on a stupid track. He most likely uses the car to go to work in the day and chase women at night. The rims look nice on the car never mind the comments of the stay at home playing madden on a Friday and Saturday night crowd.

  • fat americans

  • Maybe he was after the look not the performance. Maybe.... :S

  • uined?? no way man. I would do the same to the GTR too. It looks awesome. those people who don't know anything about modification then they say it would ruin the car. I know the tyres is one of the factors for gtr handling. however, it is not the most important factors. Aerodynamics, suspension, steeering, braking and transmision are the most important factors for the gtr performance. even he changes the tyres and rims it would only affect less than 3% of the performance

  • @myhsn777 "those people who dont know anything about modification" but yet your reason for liking it is cuz "it looks awesome". a larger wheel and tire combination creates a larger rotational mass, making the brakes work harder to slow the car down. harder working brakes get hotter causing brake fade, making your entry speed into corners alot lower. a smaller tire profile does makes the tire loose its ability to flex and expand giving you better handling. this is what that car was made to do.

  • @myhsn777 the standard alloys had a specially adapted rim and tyre beed to keep the tyre on as it can corner so fast has has so much grip so would lose a bit more than 3% performance.

  • Comment removed

  • god whats wrong with you

  • If he hit a pencil that wheel would fold up like a taco.

  • I don't believe the stock GTR wheels and tires are the ONLY wheels and tires that help provide its performance. I'm definitely sure there are other wheels and tires that are probably better... but I'm sure this guy's set here is pretty horrid.

  • @jdang yeah dude, I disagree with those guys. those guys know nothing about car. probably they just watch too much TOP GEAR . Lol

  • @myhsn777 yea... bunch of kids who drool over hype and turn into uneducated fanboys.

  • ruined. But its his car, his money (or parents), I'm pretty sure he think its "mad phat". But as some of the people said, the rims were a intricate part of how the car was engineered to perform. There was a reason why a 4000lbs car could corner at the speeds that it could, handle a way a car 1500lbs less would. Most of that is now gone.

Now all that's left is some rich douche who'll never drive his GT-R with the windows down, cause it might mess up his hair.

  • even tho the performance isnt as good anymore.. it still looks awesome..

  • iforged is hype, they're heavy when you compare them to the real deal. No innovation.

  • Nice rims...love the way that things sounds.

  • did you get those at the flea market?

  • i smell that ur poor and a hater...

  • @DUBSAC iFORGED is a good brand

  • changing the rims kills the car, the stock rims are designed to hold the tires on in the corners.

  • Honestly the person who owns the car doesn't really care. Most of the GT-R owners in the united states use them for straight line performance/ daily drivers anyway. And its the guys money so he doesn't care what you think.

  • love this car, saw a black one drive past me today, and all i said is wow...

  • looks good ! 8)

  • gun metallic looks good in that light

  • 22 inch rims with stock tires? that's dangerous. but if you put the right tires on those rims, and tune the engine, then you could get higher top end. 2 inches more means 10% more speed at the same RPM. At 8000 rpm, 6th gear gives 350 kph...on 20 inch wheels. On 22 inch wheels, and tires of the same profile as stock ones, the speed at 8000 rpm will be over 380 kph! That will require over 800 hp of course...

  • why the hell would you want to tune the engine, Nisan has already spent 100's of millions of dollars developing and tuning this car, any changes made are more likely to degrade the overall performance. If they thought putting 22's on it would improve performance they would of made the stock rims 22's, but they didn't.

  • cuz most people that buy the em dont race them and could really care less....they buy it cuz it looks good and is different....

  • Why not tune the car. Who cares if Nissan spent millions of dollars to make it only make 480hp. everyone wants them to go faster and be the fastest guy on the block. These cars with an HKS 570 kit are great and make great power without risking reliability or massive turbo lag. Honestly if you are going to build a car like this you need to build it to allow people to tune it or it won't be as popular.

  • All of the black details on the car make the gray look good.

  • stock rims

    RAY LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL

    shame

  • only retards replace stock rims

those stock rims are for launching the car and wont slide between the lip and the tire

  • that thing sounds like poop haha. Nice car that got ruined....too bad

  • Dude, that sounds sick. Reminds me of a G35 sedan with auto trans.

  • about the only thing the g35 and the gtr have in common in the nissan badge....

  • Them tires are going to come off when turning at high speed ;)

  • i bet he doesnt even know that the stock rims are much better than the ones he has on it now. his tires are gonna get shredded

  • You idiot why would you change those rims they were especially made for the car because the wheels will spin faster than tires and then ur fucked good luck with that unless u dont plan on driveing it lol

  • i want to know the name of these rims, can u give me a link or sumthin...nice car

  • The GTR looks sick, wicked rims, nice paint job to match it. Too bad this video doesnt show that much. :(

  • love this car

  • that is major fail right there

  • its a shame that he just destroyed about half of the performance capabilities of that car.

  • @eburgos527 but it looks nice lol

  • IForged is one of the high-end performance wheels in the market.

  • @eburgos527Rofl 22's wont affect the performance at all...

  • @eburgos527 Here's a thought....stock rims look...STOCK!!!

  • @eburgos527 So adding 22's reduced the power output to 240hp? Wow.. thats a genius statement.

  • duece duece

    Thatis sick

iForged wheels are amazing nice colour

  • it's fresh, no doubt about it!

  • that shit sounds fierce

  • 19-20'' Perfect!

  • those rims suited it soo good..

  • wow is look with rims relly rellly

  • Wow! That's amazing, I really love it.

I think I'll do the same for my GT-R, check it out.

  • thats a proper beast

  • the tire is too small to fit the rims

  • So nice

  • Thats A SLAMMED GT-R

  • That's a dumbass thing to do, considering the fact that the original tires were one of the very important factors that helped GT-R's handling, which by way is its primary purpose.

  • so u'll be turning corners on the streets at 90mph?

  • I do that shit in my moms car this is a fuckin GT-R dude.

  • I quess he has more than one set of rims! ...cruisin´, racin´...

    ..you know

  • I hope so.

  • @wildbloodydragon well if u havent noticed hes not riding on a track

  • @wildbloodydragon WTF, in every GTR video there is a comment about wheels... there's nothing wrong about changing them... these are actually gorgeous

  • damm that is DOPE

  • i just came

  • i squirted

  • Why would you go 22''s when you can barely even get tyres that arent shit for 20"?

  • its too big anyway! 20" will be perfect for that kind of car!

  • Form over function.

  • if it's not for racing, it doesn't matter.

  • well people always want bigger rims ,seeing as this car brings 20" stock rim's i cant see why not go for 22" and maybe just maybe he doesn't even race this car seeing as there isn't much competition :P

  • that looks ok, but no car reguardless of what make or model should have larger than a 20 on it. And to put 22's on a skyline, thats a tuning sin lol

  • I agree, good thing this isn't a Skyline. It's a Nissan GT-R.

  • u know what i meant lol my bad its a gt-r

  • sky

  • WOW...forged motor.!!!Haahahaha motor is too small...25.000 miles and.,.done

  • i bet those bigass rims make that car noticeably slower. the bigger the rim the better the car is a mainstream mtv rapper mentality(i didn't say blacks in general) and all they know how to do is make performance cars slower by adding rims that are too big and heavy and putting in more tvs than ten people can watch at once let alone 4..... and goddammit gallardo is pronounced guy-ardo.

  • you are stupid, it is the weight of the wheel that matters, you can get a bigger wheel that weighs less than the stock wheel.

  • yea thanks but it also has to do with the rigidity of the rim that affects the rate at which the shocks are designed to work and they are more prone to be easily damaged with such a low profile tire. that and there aren't any 22's out there that work better than the same model in the 20" size as far as weight and performance go on a car like this. it's all asthetics and that is what i was saying. form over function, rather than using the best performance option, they went for looks. suck one.

  • if you know so much, why would your original comment be so stupid? Uhhh and yes they do make 22 inch wheels that weigh less than 20 inch wheels, most people who buy these cars will never race them, and anyone who does is either rich or stupid, becuase insurance wont cover racing accidents, so why not buy a nice looking wheel? suck 1.

  • same wheels different sizes the 20 will always weigh less than the 22 as far as performance rims go that are the same model.... mmm'kay? this car is designed to be driven fast easily and to anyone who buys one and doesn't drive it in a way that justifies the millions spent in developing the car's handling characteristics is a dumbass whose priorities are fucked. and a good set of 20's is good looking enough and performs better. was my original comment stupid? suck 2

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!! sick ass gtr

  • That car needs to be painted ORANGE. ORANGE HANDS DOWN IS THE NICEST COLOUR COATED ON A GTR. Some guy did a orange paint job with chrome black rims on his gtr, so sexy.

  • ONE wheel off a locomotive could crush this littel punk azz speed toy. ONE $lugg in gastank could take out PUNK driver and ugly weak toycar . awwjjajajaja!!!!

  • if you were near me with that and had the keys visible i would steal your car

  • U must be some sort of a PUNK becau ONLY PUNKS drive these style of a car. go kill youself speeding around. awwjajajajaj!

  • HOLY SHIT that sounds horrable

  • those rims make it look so hot with that sound dammmmmmm!!!

  • Actually they will void the warrenty because if you change the wheels on these cars they G's it produced going around a track corner can actually bend wheels. the wheels are made extremely strong for this car. :)

  • english this time ...

  • Oh my bad mr english professor. I said. If you change the rims on a gt-r from the stock ones, it will VOID your warranty. The reason for this is..... That the GT-R will produce such high G's going around a corner that it will bend an ordinary rim. Hence why the rims on the GT-R are so big and heavy.

Learn how to read this time...

  • wow .. that's quite a load of BS ...

where did you get that info from ?? if i may ask ...?

  • Uhm. Check nissans spec page. Also a guy in the Aka rally that drove the silver gt-r owned a legalized r34, but he decided to go off about his new gt-r and tell me all the info. one of my friends told him that he should get different rims and then he said that is why he cannot.. Mechanics in America won't even touch that car you have to send it back. and if it has different rims on it your warrenty will be voided. Look it up before you say I'm wrong again. Thanks.

  • i don't even have to look it up ...

    i know it's not true ...

ok .. change the rims on a high performance car .. warranty will void .. that's pure logic mr Sherlock ..:-)

i was referring to your G force bend bullshit story ..

  • Do some research before you even write something again. And no changing rims wont void your warrenty. Why would it? I'm saying the reasons its voided is because it can break an ordinary rim. Look what the stock rims are made of. They are massive. My friend changed his rims on an rx8 and about a month later crashed his car and it was covored by warrenty so he obvioulsy still had it. You fail at logic?

  • dude ... with ''high performance'' i did not ment an mazda ..hahahha .. i was aiming for brands like ferrari and so...

but hey you know what ???

keep telling that bullshit story ..

    see if i give a f*ck .. :-)

    have a nice day .

  • Again, Do not speak unless you do your homework. Ferrari / Lambo, You can change rims there w/o voiding the warrenty> What are you going to move on to next? Bugatti?

I bet you drive a camry. And not a new one :)

  • actually i drive an bmw 330i coupe ...

    and you're right .. it's not new ...

    it's the 2004 ..

  • I hope its tucking wheel at least. There are 100+ bmw's registered in my area. Hate seeing them.

  • sexy and sound sick

  • rofl, i hope those rims have the nur the stock ones do.

  • i would have sex with this car!

  • tht car is sex

  • sexier

  • thing. They will void your warrantee if you do ANYTHING to the car, even if you miss your required service intervals.

  • no they don't, you can change the rims, cold air intake, and at some dealership suspension, and all don't void your warranty if you use authentic Nismo parts such as exhaust and etc

  • Wrong when it comes to the GTR. I had a WRX with upgrades and I know the drill when it comes to mods and warantee issues(if mod wasn't "directly" involved with the failure then, the fix will be covered).

  • When you buy a GTR,you sign a disclaimer which says; if you have any changes done to the car besides paint, body work,tint,wheels/tires; miss an oil change or scheduled visit, they will void the warantee. This is a fact. When you speak about Nismo parts, that applies to any other Nissan excluding the GTR.

  • The car comes stock with 20" wheels. Mine will be here in April and I'm not changing a

  • the wheels are nice but are a little too big, 19's at the biggest

  • Looks sick but you just lost like 30-40whp.

  • im not saying your wrong or anything, but how does changing to bigger rims make you lose power?

  • changing wheel size does not lose power, it converts torque. say the radius of a 20"wheel is 0.25m and the momento on the rear axle is 100Nm, the projected force on the tarmac will be 400N.(random example in metric) if you change the wheels size to 22" the force will be around 360N. which is about 10% less force on the tarmac.its an example with random figures. top speed will rise with bigger wheels, don't forget that bigger wheels usually have thinner tires.

  • y the fuck would u spend that much on

    22's & would want 2 race?

just b careful u don't scratch my Nissan

No I don't give a fuck about the rims

  • WTF I'll take that shit fuck what you guys are talking about nice rims and blackout tail lights.

  • what an ugly car

  • Don't be callin your mom a car and talking about her like that.

  • U wont recognize the uglyness inside ... you'll just recognize as it blows your brain out of your left ear while driving it ;)

  • who the fck cares on what you gotta say dnt hate on a car just cause that shit cost more than yours does dnt lie and say you got a ferrarii either the r35 can still kik the shit outta it =]

  • Wow that is the dumbest thing you can do to the GTR. Putting on bigger and heavier rims on the car will ruin the reason why the gtr is a gtr. Also the tires might rip off the rim.

  • how do the tires rip of them? does he have the original tires on them? and if he does, why?

  • not original but same tires this guy has his warrenty void [USA]

bc he changed the rims the computer has sensors that tell nissan stock number of witch skyline remove rims and the warranty is void my dad has 2010 GTR and he changed the rims only bc he is a General Manager for Nissan

  • freestyle760 u go around youtube telling everyone that your daddy owns 2010 gtr? how old are you kiddo?

  • obviously not, the original tires are 20's, they don't fit on 22" rims, I hope you know that.

  • but he saying that they measure the same height since the 22 has less tire and the 20 a much chunkier tire....

  • 22's nigga sick ride bro

  • NOOOOOOOOOOO U RUINED IT!

  • Holy shit!

    It's fuckin cool!!!!

  • Wrong wheels for that car.

  • also milion ppl round the world ;p

  • i want it ;)

  • Why?

That is the equivalent of buying an expensive German clock, then gold-plating the gears and hanging diamonds from the hands. Expensive and showy it is, but you've just ruined the point.

  • Im sure this guy doesnt care but he just voided his warranty - nissan is being very nasty about aftermarket wheels, and any tuning on these cars

  • They have already tuned a car to perfection i can see how its rude to put anything aftermarket on it

  • sick.....

  • sick...?

  • aren't the stock wheels safer, so that they wont pop off in the turns...

  • boring.................

  • the shoes look good on the car, as far as taillights go the car came with them so deal with it pu%^y

  • Looks wack IMO. iForged shoes do not belong on a R35, neither do those tails. Meh..Amuse, please help with this situation.

  • SEX

  • very nice taste! i wish i had the money to get that! or the credit! why is everyone still comparing the gtr35 to the vette??? next year they will be comparing it to the new supra.......vette is old news.....classic vetts are my fav out of any vette......

  • On top of that its a 3.8L V6, not a V8 22.5L. the engine size is quite small considering the specs. off boost its a normal efficient 6. at full power its faster than most cars. get over the whole battle crap. its a damn fine car all round.

  • exactly America and their. Big ENGINES BIG WEIGHT BIG FAT PEOPLE. listen the GTR is amazing. 0-100 in 3.5 seconds, smooth. you can speak with your passengers at normal volume at 300km/h. its faster than nearly all of the supercars out there 6 times the price on a track. so why put Japanese Technology down? why not put crap on the Lambos and Ferraris which are so much more expensive fi they dont perform as good. just think about it. This car is the perfect package. power speed price economy.

  • why are some people scared to accept automotive progression? move with the times... please.

this is one amazing ROAD car!

and come on mod fans... wait till the tuners get into the ecu properly!

ps. if america ever comes up with a mass produced car to equal this... i will eat my own shit.

    pps. nice rims

  • Good luck changing turbo's....welded into manifolds.

  • better than the car you own

  • looks alot better off of the stock rims

  • Watch the V-Spec beat it.

  • dude wtf how did they get aftermarket rims on that? i mean in some magazine idk which one it was they said the stock rims ahd a sensor where if u put aftermarket rims on it it wouldn't start or somethin like that because it didn't have the sensor it in, but those rims on that car look hot

  • Camaros are pussymobiles.

Rims huh? I hear that puts an end to your warranty.

  • i would of stuck with the nitrogen filled tires for better performance than those thin rims that go for style over performance. But it looks good if that's what you're going for.

  • dont the cars go into limp mode if you change the rims

  • Muy muy muy bacano, muy buenos rines y excelente vehiculo.

    Felicitaciones!

    Salu2

  • how much does this cost?

  • a little over 70g
