That poor zebra finch. It doesnt look happy, it looks very stressed a truly happy and healthy hand tame bird will still be active when outside of its cage. Oh and your bird would not be panting like it was at the start if you let it out to fly beforehand, if you regularly let him out he will be healthy he would have to be literally non stop flying for an hour or so to be in that state. I have a tame zebra finch, he sits on my shoulder and my hand, even after flying he doesnt it that still.

hey my finch to excpt he plays with pokemon and everytime he lose he peck at the screen and when he win he sing the song of victory he u=mostly chooses charmandar lol and he also like to flert around and yes hes only 6 month old and i got him a gf because everytime he sees some kind of female bird he sings

so i got him one female finch . even though he still a nerd and yes i call him George because he is educated i taught him my self though he also got his own room the basement

You took one of the most active, cheerful birds around and did this. No, this is not a 'tired' bird, this is a 'stressed' bird. Notice in the first part of the video, with him standing in front of your computer- did you see how heavy his breathing was and how his body was 'heaving'? At 0:36 he looked lifeless. This is not giving your bird exercise, unless you mean by exercise as in 'chase around the house to exhaust and stress'. Please treat your bird nicer, and give him a friend.

1: I do have a life,what makes you think I don't? 2: He is absolutely not showing a ''classic bird stress response'', he is simply tired because i let him fly around recently and if you'd know how to take care of a bird properly you would know that it is bad not to let a bird fly around. I usually let him fly around before I take these videos so he will stay still more and not hurt himself.

my two finchies wont go near me :( i did get them wen they were about 6 months old though, shut up in a pet shop cage, they ave had 3 lots of babies so far...could i keep one of the babies n train it?

ummm,the best thing is to let the parent's take care of it. and then maybe when it's 2 weeks old or something like that,you can start to spend time with the bird so it knows when it grows up that humans aren't as bad as they think.
