Actually, gaki means "hungry ghosts." Equivalent of the pretas in Buddhism.

This seems kinda real. In terms of knowledge resource wise.

The nail/spike can suppress evil, because some Taoist exorcise actually carry this around. (A used coffin spike, after the corpse is fully decomposed, and the coffin is dug back up to create new space for newer deceased people.)

Also, the vertigo concept is pretty correct in Taoism standards. Since, Onmyoji and Taoist magic are interrelated.

i always though "gaki" means "spoiled brat" in japanese. i guess i was right, but it's a relatively young new meaning to the word.

the other meaning is "hungry ghost".

Yes there is, it's in options, I chose English due to the fact I thought it would be difficult to read, but I actually liked playing it in Japanese with english subs.

With horror games your best bet is to do a subtitled LP so you don't lose the atmosphere the game is going for. Usually people will complain about you video taping your screen, but yours is ok...pretty clear...but some of the text is unreadable. Also you seem somewhat confused as to what to say in some parts.

Kuon, the way it's written, means "nine grudges", but it can a;so mean "eternity." It's the title of the game rather than a person.
