nice video ! i'm a huge Hendrix fan , i got the same wah pedal and amp as yours. what are your settings of the amp ? and what pedals do you use ? and wich ones do you use in the effects loop ?
@vlmcross Thanks! I'm running my strat copy (playing on the neck pickup) through a Dunlup JH wah into a Boss Blues Driver in front of the amp set for a slight boost in volume & gain...10o'clock settings on all knobs (I only use this for the solo though). For the amp settings, I'm using the overdrive channel with the controls as follows: Gain-4 Contour-3 Bass-10 Treble-5 Volume-2 Reverb-3. In the loop, I just have a Boss Digital Delay set for a subtle, reverb setting. Hope that helps...rock on!
@SquierGuy2 I had the selector switch in the neck position (like Jimi). It can be difficult to tell with the upper frequencies of the Wah-Wah flavoring the tone. As a matter of fact, when I play this guitar, 95% of the time I'm using the Neck pickup. I tend to favor that position with single-coils (where as with humbuckers, I typically favor the bridge).

@MrDandanhesourman Thank you. This song definately lends itself well to a "played" vocal line in the absence of a singer :-)

What position did u have the selector swich in the beginning, hendrix always put his at the neck for the intro, other than that sounded good
