"In economic turmoil, the people want to leave with their capital and there is capital control and there is people control. So, every time you think of a fence keeping all those bad people out, think about those fences maybe being used against us-- keeping us in." -Ron Paul.. It doesn't sound crazy to me it makes sense.
@paulwab12 I makes sense? Airplanes can fly over a fence. So, yeah. No one or nothing will stop you, even if you want to leave the country from the south.
So for those of you think this is a crazy comment. It has more merit than anything. I don't think the issue is a fence needing to be built, but a simple disassociation with people who can't provide proof of citizenship. We let them assimilate to much in society and that is the problem. You really think a fence is going to stop drug cartels from doing business? Please..
There is a simple reason that he doesn't want fences. Because it isn't American. We've never needed fences. We certainly don't need one for Canada, the issue of why he doesn't necessarily want a fence to keep anyone from leaving in or out is because the United States dollar is going to be crap within a set limited amount of years. The fence merely keeps people from going on the other side and wanting to be free from poverty of a weak dollar.
Does anyone but him understand this? I am trying to find a love for Ron Paul as a political candidate. But every time he speaks on issues truly troubling our nation, all I hear is nonsense. Our borders need protection! If you won't do it Congressman Paul, then I'm going to vote for someone who will! People keep telling me you're bipartisan, to me all that says is you've got the peoples of both parties' minds wrapped around your finger. You think Liberally on all the important issues!
Recent legislation called the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FACTA) requires, in some instances, that foreign banks withhold 30% of payments that -might- originate from the United States. This bill has been signed into LAW and is waiting to take effect; it's the early stages of capital controls-- governments trying to regulate the flow of money in and out of the country.
PART 2) FACTA is going to make it much harder for people in the US to get money out of the country if they don't act now.
Many offshore banks will simply refuse to do business with US citizens rather than deal with the onerous requirements of the US government. Uncle Sam wants your money to stay inside US borders where he can control and confiscate it…and he’s hiring an army of new bureaucrats to enforce this new capital control.
@markjamesnelson he'd be throwing the whole truth out there except it'd blow the sheeples mind and they wouldnt accept the fact oh hey ive been spoon fed lies my entire life, my whole life is controlled, im like a little lab rat. you have to break it to the people slowly. the people who say people like me are crazy for believing this , are the people who cant stop for one second and THINK about what people are saying, if this guy doesnt get the presidency people will start dying. mark my words.
The government has already made it very difficult to leave the US and surrender citizenship. They have put a 50% tax on your head if you try to leave. We are heading for disaster with the current policies and things could get really bad economically here. We are being policed by the TSA and now the President can assassinate American citizens without due process. I think Paul is making a good point here but it is way to complicated without a long discussion. America is in trouble friends!
I'd vote for Paul but this comment was rather silly. He was onto it when he mentioned the economy: Not only should people have a right to come to the USA and make a better life for themselves, but if the economy weren't run into the ground nobody would be scared about losing their job to immigrants. The other thing that nobody mentions of course is that immigration is economically beneficial. We shouldn't stop immigration to 'save jobs' any more than we should stop technological advances.
The part about being against the fence was silly? His position is far more complex than a one minute debate time slot allows for. And he tends to ramble, which doesn't help.
Here is the gist of his views: using fences, guns, and national ID cards are bad ideas because all of these these can and will be used to infringe on the liberties of American citizens. Removing economic incentives also benefits Americans because taxes are taken by force, which he also sees as being immoral.
@An0nEeMouse immigration is only beneficial if the people coming in have skills beneficial to the US. Many of them do not, they have no formal education and on top of that there are starting to be no more jobs for them to have. They simply drain tax dollars from real US citizens by using their entitled welfare. Immigration is another reason economy has gone down the toilet. Because little businesses hire immigrants because they are cheap. They only make bigger businesses more powerful.
@An0nEeMouse Another thing that is ignorant about what you have said is that the money supply is too high and diluted to such a small backing system. In layman's terms when you keep printing paper for the gold you don't have your dollar becomes weak. Eventually the peso is going to be more than the dollar. People are going to want that currency, not dollars. Fences merely make borders for people not to use that currency freely. Even now the government bans competing currencies. Ignorance...
Is this old fart still going? Christmas this is living proof how fucking retarded America's young voters are that this crock isn't laughed off the stage with his conspiracy theory bullshit. Wow is your country fucked if this is all you have for politicians.
@Silkie341 No, most people are intelligent enough to know that he's simply pointing out a basic fact... and we're also intelligent enough to know a bleating sheeple when we hear one.
@Silkie341 No, most people are intelligent enough to know that he's simply pointing out a basic fact... and we're also intelligent enough to know a bleating sheeple when we hear one.
People make fun of him for saying that, but he's actually hit a really key point in this immigration debate. If America decides to become a closed society, then we are sending the wrong message to a globalizing world. China and India are going to create the jobs of the next century and more and more americans are going to have to look to global markets for jobs. This is not the time to build fences! Now, illegal immigration needs to be stopped, but we need a clever alternative to a silly fence.
@dnanalahcnap That was not what Ron Paul said, Ron Paul said people might want to escape America with capital so the fences will stop them from doing that lol?!
When the soviets were building a fence around Berlin do you really think they were told that it was to keep them in and let them suffer under great economic distress? No ofcourse not! they were told that the fence would keep those dirty capitalists out that want to destroy the great motherland. Just because your side is doing it doesn't make it right by default.
RevolutionPAC is gathering any contributions for Ron Paul's campaign today! Yes, September 19th. Donations start at $10.. please consider! or thumbs up!
Ron Paul wants to take away their free meal ticket that encourages them to sneak their way into our country. That alone will go a long way to stopping the flow of illegal immigrants.
@Vote4RonPaulLiberty RP is the same politician as every other right wing wacko. Just check out his pork barrel spending and the lame ass excuse for doing it. Instead of salivating over his every word, people should just check into his congressional record. Do a little research and you'll see, he's just another professional politician. By all means, go ahead and waste your vote on him.
@Vote4RonPaulLiberty Ron_Paul_Pork_Spending, If you think that's ok, then listen to the sorry ass reason he does it. His own words. He's not awesome, or different, or even new, he's just another right wing nutjob, who happens to sing a different tune. He's a career politician that needs to retire.
@Frostweld I already know why. And he is correct. I don't believe in a lot of things but I'm forced to utilize them because the majority set it up in such a way that it's impossible to avoid it. He is doing the same. Ron Paul is a retired physician and Air Force veteran.
@Vote4RonPaulLiberty "I don't believe in a lot of things but I'm forced to utilize them because the majority set it up in such a way that it's impossible to avoid it." This is Ron Paul's excuse. Get use to it. If he get elected, you will be hearing it A LOT!
@Vote4RonPaulLiberty It's not the "reality" that's an excuse. It's the fact that the very thing he says is wrong. He does to an excess. And yet, he and his followers don't find it a bit two-faced. That's extreme denial, and Kool-aid worthy. Enjoy your candidate.
@Frostweld Listen, I don't follow people, I don't take oaths, and I don't hang on every word anyone says. Is this the best you can do? "Good luck with your candidate." "Enjoy your candidate." Anything else?
@SexedUpAtheist Really, or was it already lost. I think it was never there in the first place, so no skin off my nose. Vote for him if you want, but try not to be so bitter, this time, when you lose again.
Oh, I will vote for him: in fact, I am changing my political affiliation in order to do so... and I'm not alone. Despite the media's attempts to ridicule or outright ignore him, more people are learning about Ron Paul and his message of liberty. We'll see what comes of it, won't we. ;)
@SexedUpAtheist pfft The only people that support him are old pot smokers that think they're going to be able to spark up in public, once he's elected. Oh, and also the people that think our currency would be better, if it was once again tied to gold, but don't realize that gold is a limited commodity and our country has already outpaced it, in real value. Finally, there's the people that can't seem to work and play well with others. You know, the ones...like you
@Frostweld Yeah, all of those pot smokers in the military who contributed more to Dr. Paul than they did to the current Commander-In-Chief, and certainly more than all of the other neo-con scumbags combined.
Yeah, obviously we decided to tie our currency to a more abundant commodity: thin air. Oh, and our currency has very little 'real' value, and that value becomes less every day.
Yeah, I work and play well with others... until they piss in my Cheerios. Then I kick ass and chew gum.
@SexedUpAtheist "Yeah, all of those pot smokers in the military who contributed more to Dr. Paul than they did to the current Commander-In-Chief", Now your credibility is in the tank. "Yeah, obviously we decided to tie our currency to a more abundant commodity: thin air". Spoken like a true Pavlov dog. Ron_Paul_Pork_Spending
@SexedUpAtheist You can call them anything you want. It's still wrong, (just like RP says), and yet he and his cronies don't find it odd at all that he does it (to an excess). Yeah, he's different, alright. Good luck with your candidate.
@Frostweld We both know that you're either truly ignorant, or that you're being intellectually dishonest. If the former, please educate yourself with the truth. I suspect the latter, though: there seems to be a lot of fear out there, and many who are going out of their way to silence or ridicule Ron Paul.
Yes, with any luck, Ron Paul will be our next President. Thanks for the well-wishing! xD
@SexedUpAtheist Cute, but then again you never were addressing me. You, like your candidate, are playing to a base, and so things like truth, honesty, integrity take a backseat to gullibility. Better luck next time.
@Frostweld More intellectual dishonesty: of course I was addressing you. Ron Paul has already addressed this weak "pork-spending" bullshit, which is about the only thing his detractors can scrape up against him, and it has no substance.
You, like the soulless corporate puppets that have overtaken the GOP, have no qualms about making hypocritical accusations against others, because truth, honesty and integrity mean nothing to you: they are tools to manipulate in order to further your own agenda.
@SexedUpAtheist So now the very thing RP, harps against is of no significance when he does it?!? Interesting. I see that you accept his rediculus answer for it, like it doesn't matter, so what to do, accept say, have a nice day.
people how dont vote for ron paul 2012 must be loving the muslim ruling in america wake up take america back how it use to be screw obamas job act plane he sucks balls!!!
@TheFreezer872 As we've witnessed in the 1990s the consequences of taxing the wealthy are we are able to pay off our debt and the private sector is pretty much unaffected
Remember that guy Adam Smith, whom you are supposed to revere but never actually read? He wrote that free movement of labor is imperative to a free market.
Paul got asked like 4 times in that debate, this must be treason because all of us know that we can only ask Paul 2 times in a debate so the other candidates actually have a chance of winning it.
@ninuxy You are an idiot if you think Mexico's only problem is their economy. In the area of Mazatlan, around 50, 000 Mexicans are killed every year by drug cartels. They aren't just fleeing for jobs you idiot, they are fleeing for their lives.
@ninuxy That's the number of Mexican who die each year in average. Actually, the estimated number of deaths related to drug violence is 40,000 for the last 5 years, which is still not negligible.

I believe the US should cease immigration entirely - we have enough people here already who can't find work. Then close the borders, and deport all muslims and revoke the citizenship of those who refuse to pledge aliegence to the flag of the US. That would eliminate the need for a police state completely! How do I know? What caused the Us Patriot Act, the Dept. of Homeland Security, cameras to go up everywhere, strip searches at airports…………………muslims! Thumbs up if you agree!
Im not even a citizen of your country but i know much more than most U.S citizens. I know for a fact that you are chemtrailled (line in the sky), fluoride in your water, smart meter soon for electricity and water, you have no liberty, you have no free health care, your meat is sprayed with bullshit and most of your red meat is made with meat glue, your leaders are satanic and your country is starting wars one after the other etc, i can go on and on all night
any and all illegals crossing our borders should be shot while trying to cross, we need to stop playing games with these people, we are Americans and should take care of our own first and foremost.Since our gov. refuses to do so then each and every border state should do what they have to.

Yeah because a fence is going to stop those damn mexican terrorist?! Man America is full of some dumb mother fuckers, literally... and i'm not saying all of them but the majority.
@TheHomelandDefender Wow you are a fucking idiot there are no terrorists! The real terrorists are these fucking federal government agencies and bureaucratic cocksuckers! Get a fucking clue
Some of what Ron Paul says is really outlandish. We have such a diversity of uniformed and misleading opinions being expressed solely for shock value and effect. Romney must go home at night and say to himself, “this is unbelievable… am I really running for president?” And if I am, who are these nutcases to my right and left?
Ron Paul talking about fences keeping us in is real shit that you don't understand because you spend your time believing the fantasy actors telling you one thing while the opposite thing is actually happening behind your blind eyes.
He has totally energized the Ron Paul cult with this comment - they are frenetically writing checks to support the coffers for his 3rd presidential campaign
Hilarious how many liberal drones are on tpmtv's subscription. If you support Obama you support- never-ending war on terror, drugs and in general, freedom. You support the military intervention in EVERY country we are currently in. Basically, you are supporting GW Bush's agenda, and your a stupid cocksucker for doing it.
This guy is a looney! Search the phrase - an alarming video every westerner should see - and watch that video. WE MUST PROTECT OUR BORDERS. If we keep them out - and deport them - there will be no need for a police state within, or the Patriot Act.
@asuwish0000 Paul is for a FENCE, but not a police-state machine-gun protected one that sounds more like East Berlin! Why can't we bring the million troops overseas back here and have them fight for something worthwhile like protecting our country from drug cartels? I guarantee you put the U.S. Army, drones, and Humvees on that border an illegal won't come within 100 miles of it! Why do we enforce Iraq's border and leave ours open? Besides, no fence is impenetrable.
@nbarile18 I could not agree with you more! But people like Ron Paul would argue that it WOULD BE a police state if we moved troops into these border towns with weapons, tanks etc. Additionally, this violates the Posse Comitatis. This is why we created the border patrol. But there is nothing legally to prevent the use of the National Guard. The Coast Guard is exempt from the posse comitatis - so no issue there.
Here's the thing: the U.S. Military is honor-bound to a code that swears their loyalty to the people, not to the president. Although they serve the commander-in-chief, it is not like the military of Nazi Germany or China where they carry out all orders, regardless of moral implications So it is impossible for the Executive branch to order them to gun down civilians fleeing into Mexico. A fence, however, seems much more difficult to repeal or escape as it blocks people going out.

@nbarile18 We simply follow the presidents direction. That is it. We took the same oath he did when coming into office and YOU (the American people) appointed him over us.
@route99 Yeah that's right. The government's not out to control you at any cost. That's why it's a federal offense to film police officers. for freedom.
That statement probably didn't win him any votes but he has a good point. It could very well happen. If we hit hyperinflation, government will economically cannibalize people with capital(gold, silver, etc) and everyone will be literally shaken down at the borders.
Gas does cost a silver dime today. Buying it with a piece of worthless paper costs $3.50 Legalizing drugs would be the biggest thing to kill the drug cartels turning Central, and South America into a war zone. I seem to recall people being killed for trying to leave East Berlin, and go to West Berlin before 1989.
in a decade from now, we will look back at this clip and think, "Oh my g-d, he was right. Why did no one else see it coming?" Just like today when we look back at clips of him 10 years ago warning about the coming economic collapse. Today, though he'll be called crazy for it. He is just always ahead of his time.
,..except Ron Paul forgets,, a fence won't ever be built lol. . coz there's too much big money and corruption in drug and human trafficking ..and we've been talking about building a fence in for years now...
Illegal immigration is just an issue for conservatives to whine about come election time. The Bush administration tried to equate it with terrorism, but all the 9/11 terrorists came here legally.
My solution would be to charge migrant workers an entrance fee, like going to Disneyland. Many of the illegals already pay thousands of dollars to smugglers to get them across the border. If they only had to pay $500 each to enter legally, it'd be worth it for them, and we could keep track of them with photo ID's and such. Americans need to face the reality--there will always be illegal immigrants. The border is not a barrier to movement. But we can turn it to our advantage.

@dudev Great idea. It would also help to weed out the criminals that are crossing the border because most will continue to try and avoid authorities. Here's a bit of info I like to toss out to people complaining that illegals are a total drain on the system. Many illegals are working jobs with regular paychecks. Most of these have SS and income tax withheld that they never claim. It amounts to over a billion $ per year that is never claimed and likely never will be.
@kaysandesses You cant pay SS and Income tax if you don't have a SS#. if your illegal, you don't have an SS#. To enroll a child in some public schools, you dont need an SS#, likewise for being admitted to teh emergency room. Immigration for work= good and sustainable, immigration for welfare=bad and will break the bank as it has been doing.
@rufayel "if your illegal, you don't have an SS#. "
Have you ever heard of people having fake SS# cards? I know of a company that got audited and had over two dozen people hired who had the same SS#. I agree that those who come here simply seeking welfare is a bad thing, but that is a relatively small percentage. Now, if you want to refute the figure I posted earlier than by all means, give it a try. Good luck with that.
im tired of listening to this arrogant fucking prick always running his mouth thinking he has all the answers to everything. if any of his policies were actually implemented it would lead to an end of the UNITED states. his a conspiracy nut who has no answer to real practical issues.
@MVX12 I thought you were talking about Obama. He (obama) certainly thinks if we just rob the right people and distribute it to the right people, we can have a sustainable economy. Its the greatest economic fallacy of all time, and your an exceptional minion my friend.
@rufayel why would you think im talking about obama when the video is clearly all about ron paul. and how do you think Obama wants to "rob" people? let me give you a basic lesson in social studies 8 which u may have missed when you were little. do you understand that being taxed is not like being robbed? taxes are needed so that the federal government can fund building of army, roads, or public education. without this tax revenue given to the federal gov't no roads for example would be built.
@MVX12 this is how this nation has basically functioned since the foundation of America. the founding fathers did not object to taxation in principle when they fought the British as Paul and tea party and many republicans do. they always recognized that taxation was necessary for establishment of unified and strong nation with clear purpose. their problem was taxation without representation. today there is democracy and its only fair everyone pays tax so that country is not bankrupt.
@rufayel and please understand that repercussion of complete elimination of social services. cutting spending comes at a cost.for example the US didnt land a man on moon by cutting Nasa's budget - to the contrary it increased it.
demanding the deep social cuts that republicans want to favor the tea party; without raising taxes on the rich and corporations - will destroy the foundations of US Capitalism. which is consumer spending. if everyone has to pay individually for everything no $ to spend
@MVX12 "if everyone has to pay individually for everything no $ to spend" Is this statement a joke?
I only ask because when you got to the store to buy groceries do they line everyone up and say "okay who has the most money? Because you need to pay for everyone elses." You may say no. But I beg to differ..... I have been paying for lazy peoples food stamps all my life. It seems obsurd when you put it that way huh?
@pimpgolfguy your obviously taking my point to an extreme. when i say ``if everyone has to pay individually for everything non $ to spend`` i`m not referring to your grocery bills. im talking about programs that are covered by nation wide piggy bank systems such as social security and medicare and medicade. these are the sources of significant drain on people`s pocket once their older. 95% of Americans CANT afford 2 spend if they were cut. this leads to them being broke or living on minimum
@slicvic2012 WTFFF OMG GET OUT OF THAT MENTALITY. Police state? enforced by whom? the citizens? Men who have sworn never to follow a order detrementel to the united states of America? Like omggggg you realize that cops and soldiers have brains too right???
The FDA bust into a farm with automatic weapons, stole the money the farmer gained from selling raw milk to willing buyers, and stole the milk for themselves. Great job FDA.
@ryanisfootdrums And the tooth fairy has been stealing teeth too. In a good society rules are basic. You have a license to drive a car, and to sell food you have to have a viable operation. Farmer doing it to avoid taxes or standards? I dont know but that argument is weak.
I know people who sell eggs & veggies all the time just dont ramp it up to a full scale op. Just bought some tomatoes from a coworker. I'm sure they drank all that milk and used the money to buy cookies.
@437thx1138 The shame of your statement is your belief that government can keep us safe. And if only government just did more, and in turn took away more of our freedoms, then we would be safe.
@dyne313 Government can help us be safe. US armed forces FDA EPA just to name 3 that I think do good. Now Homeland Security ( so reminds me of WW2 SS organization ) is a cash cow with my welfare far down the list. Dont add more and dont break whats working either. Hatred of govt for its own sake does not make me free.
The main increase in this lack of freedoms is regulations caused by Sept 11 2001 events resulting in the need to cut funding to terrorism. Now it effects everyone who try to be active in the global market.
well i guess he gets the conspiracy theorist vote...

Now, illegal immigration needs to be stopped, but we need a clever alternative to a silly fence.
dnanalahcnap 5 months ago 19
@dnanalahcnap Dude, that's not what he said. Just admit he said something insane.
bleunt 3 months ago
@dnanalahcnap That was not what Ron Paul said, Ron Paul said people might want to escape America with capital so the fences will stop them from doing that lol?!

When the soviets were building a fence around Berlin do you really think they were told that it was to keep them in and let them suffer under great economic distress? No ofcourse not! they were told that the fence would keep those dirty capitalists out that want to destroy the great motherland. Just because your side is doing it doesn't make it right by default.

Frostweld 5 months ago
@Frostweld I don't salivate over anything. I'm no kid. But I am a Texas resident who is familiar with his record.

Frostweld 5 months ago
@Frostweld I already know why. And he is correct. I don't believe in a lot of things but I'm forced to utilize them because the majority set it up in such a way that it's impossible to avoid it. He is doing the same. Ron Paul is a retired physician and Air Force veteran.
Vote4RonPaulLiberty 5 months ago

SexedUpAtheist 5 months ago
@SexedUpAtheist pfft The only people that support him are old pot smokers that think they're going to be able to spark up in public, once he's elected. Oh, and also the people that think our currency would be better, if it was once again tied to gold, but don't realize that gold is a limited commodity and our country has already outpaced it, in real value. Finally, there's the people that can't seem to work and play well with others. You know, the ones...like you
Frostweld 5 months ago
@Frostweld Yeah, all of those pot smokers in the military who contributed more to Dr. Paul than they did to the current Commander-In-Chief, and certainly more than all of the other neo-con scumbags combined.
Yeah, obviously we decided to tie our currency to a more abundant commodity: thin air. Oh, and our currency has very little 'real' value, and that value becomes less every day.
Yeah, I work and play well with others... until they piss in my Cheerios. Then I kick ass and chew gum.
SexedUpAtheist 5 months ago
@SexedUpAtheist "Yeah, all of those pot smokers in the military who contributed more to Dr. Paul than they did to the current Commander-In-Chief", Now your credibility is in the tank. Frostweld 5 months ago
Thanks for the well-wishing! xD
SexedUpAtheist 5 months ago
@SexedUpAtheist Cute, but then again you never were addressing me. You, like your candidate, are playing to a base, and so things like truth, honesty, integrity take a backseat to gullibility. Better luck next time.
Frostweld 5 months ago
@Frostweld More intellectual dishonesty: of course I was addressing you. Ron Paul has already addressed this weak "pork-spending" bullshit, which is about the only thing his detractors can scrape up against him, and it has no substance.
You, like the soulless corporate puppets that have overtaken the GOP, have no qualms about making hypocritical accusations against others, because truth, honesty and integrity mean nothing to you: they are tools to manipulate in order to further your own agenda.
SexedUpAtheist 5 months ago

I believe the US should cease immigration entirely - we have enough people here already who can't find work. Then close the borders, and deport all muslims and revoke the citizenship of those who refuse to pledge aliegence to the flag of the US. That would eliminate the need for a police state completely! How do I know? What caused the Us Patriot Act, the Dept. of Homeland Security, cameras to go up everywhere, strip searches at airports…………………muslims! Thumbs up if you agree!

asuwish0000 5 months ago
@asuwish0000 Paul is for a FENCE, but not a police-state machine-gun protected one that sounds more like East Berlin! Why can't we bring the million troops overseas back here and have them fight for something worthwhile like protecting our country from drug cartels? I guarantee you put the U.S. Army, drones, and Humvees on that border an illegal won't come within 100 miles of it! Why do we enforce Iraq's border and leave ours open? Besides, no fence is impenetrable.

police with machine-guns = BAD

charbroiledmonk1033 5 months ago

@dudev AND, the Bush Administration was also tossing around amnesty as a legitimate solution to the immigration problem.
I'm no Ron Paul fan, but he does make an interesting point that too much security can be worse than too little security.
kaysandesses 5 months ago
@kaysandesses
But we can turn it to our advantage.

dudev 5 months ago
@dudev Great idea. It would also help to weed out the criminals that are crossing the border because most will continue to try and avoid authorities. Here's a bit of info I like to toss out to people complaining that illegals are a total drain on the system. Many illegals are working jobs with regular paychecks. Most of these have SS and income tax withheld that they never claim. It amounts to over a billion $ per year that is never claimed and likely never will be.
kaysandesses 5 months ago
@kaysandesses You cant pay SS and Income tax if you don't have a SS#. if your illegal, you don't have an SS#. To enroll a child in some public schools, you dont need an SS#, likewise for being admitted to teh emergency room. Immigration for work= good and sustainable, immigration for welfare=bad and will break the bank as it has been doing.
rufayel 5 months ago
@rufayel "if your illegal, you don't have an SS#. "
Have you ever heard of people having fake SS# cards? I know of a company that got audited and had over two dozen people hired who had the same SS#. I agree that those who come here simply seeking welfare is a bad thing, but that is a relatively small percentage. Now, if you want to refute the figure I posted earlier than by all means, give it a try. Good luck with that.

rufayel 5 months ago
@rufayel why would you think im talking about obama when the video is clearly all about ron paul. and how do you think Obama wants to "rob" people? let me give you a basic lesson in social studies 8 which u may have missed when you were little. do you understand that being taxed is not like being robbed? taxes are needed so that the federal government can fund building of army, roads, or public education. without this tax revenue given to the federal gov't no roads for example would be built.
MVX12 5 months ago
@MVX12 this is how this nation has basically functioned since the foundation of America. the founding fathers did not object to taxation in principle when they fought the British as Paul and tea party and many republicans do. they always recognized that taxation was necessary for establishment of unified and strong nation with clear purpose. their problem was taxation without representation. today there is democracy and its only fair everyone pays tax so that country is not bankrupt.
MVX12 5 months ago
@rufayel and please understand that repercussion of complete elimination of social services. cutting spending comes at a cost.for example the US didnt land a man on moon by cutting Nasa's budget - to the contrary it increased it.
demanding the deep social cuts that republicans want to favor the tea party; without raising taxes on the rich and corporations - will destroy the foundations of US Capitalism. which is consumer spending. if everyone has to pay individually for everything no $ to spend
MVX12 5 months ago
@MVX12 "if everyone has to pay individually for everything no $ to spend" Is this statement a joke?
I only ask because when you got to the store to buy groceries do they line everyone up and say "okay who has the most money? Because you need to pay for everyone elses." You may say no. But I beg to differ..... I have been paying for lazy peoples food stamps all my life. It seems obsurd when you put it that way huh?

Paranoid and yet appealing. Ron Paul at his finest. Half of what his says is fantastic, the other half prevents me from ever voting for him.
Totally dismantle depts of Ed FDA etc, just too much. They dont inspect our meat enough as it is now. War stance is perfect.

@437thx1138
