  • to the pale intolerant man in this video, you sicken me.

  • 102 passed? I was out of town but I saw on the Internet that it got rejected. What were the numbers?

  • Prop 8 = HATE.

Discimination has now been writtien into the AZ Constitutuion.

Discimination & intolerance is still alive & well.....How sad.

Marriage Equality for all, not just for Heterosexuals.

...and, if anything, maybe try to ban heterosexual DIVORCES!

This is WAY WORSE a bad influence on children than 2 people loving each other.

Once again, KUDOS to Connecticut for LIFTING the ban on same-sex marriages...At least, they're making progress. : )

  • Yeah Prop 102 passed.

Once more the PEOPLE stand up and let their voice be heard.

    Twenty simple words.

Why is it such a hard thing to homosexuals to accept?

  • Because it's wrong.

Because it's writing bigotry into law.

    Because it's unconstitutional.

    Because it's based on ignorance.

I could continue, but it's like beating a dead horse.

  • dude... you know nothing about the Constitution of the US. Voting yes on 102 or 8 is NOT an establishment of Religion. That is just like saying having a law saying stealing is wrong is establishing religion. That is a Judeo Christian and Islamic value... it is also a moral value. This is also true about most of the laws out there. Sir you dont grasp the 1st amendment. When the opposition are cornered with the real arguement... they call you homophobe (like you did) or a bigot.

  • No one is calling you a bigot. Many of us non-Americans are just surprised that you seem to think it is moral to vote on human rights issues. Mandela called for a mass boycott of the 1989 referendum in SA when whites were asked to vote on whether or not blacks should be allowed to vote. We are just surprised that the USA always seems...backward when it comes to these modern issues, despite the fact that it claims to be the most advanced democracy in the world. That's all.

  • Well, here we go: Two people of the same sex getting married does not impact anyone other than the parties involved. It does not place a financial burden on the community or the state, nor does it pose a risk to life or property. you cite stealing, which poses a risk to someones life and removes property. Marriage, on the other hand, does not. The only reason marriage is an issue is because people are either afraid of homosexuals or because their religion has taught them it is wrong.

  • And also, I've studied the constitution for years, I have 3 copies of the constitution which I re-read each month.

  • Just to let everyone know the wording on prop 102 states that a vote "no" will not change the ruling on the state constitution that marriage is still defined as one man and one women. So because of a poorly written propasition voting "yes" or "no" will not change anything.

  • Voting NO will keep it out of the Constitution.

  • Have you read Prop 102? Read it.

  • Read it. Entirely. The legalese version. Still don't like it.

  • I am glad you read it entirely. That should not have been too hard, because it is only one sentence (20 words). Pretty simple and clear, huh?

  • Too late I already voted NO!

  • hopefully everyone isnt as sick and evil as you

  • YOU are the one who is sick and evil. And %47 of Californians would agree with me, and 44% of Arizonans would agree with me too. Don't worry, these numbers WILL rise soon.

  • you better believe they will rise! i is prophesied in the bible!

  • Ok, I'll give you $10 million when it does happen. Instead of being an idiot like u worrying about the end of the world, or what it going to happen when I die, I'll continue to take advantage of life I was given and live it to the fullest.

  • you dont have 10 million. I am not worried about the end of the world because it wont end, it will be restored.

an idiot? I think a fool best describes you. Why? because you are saying that your boring life is worth bruning in outer darkness forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.,.,., Yeah you better live life to the foolest!

I live it to the fullest but I am going to live forever in Heaven too..

  • Uh Huh, And next your going to tell me that the world is flat, and every woman who has an opinion is a Witch, and we must burn her at the stake, and soon, the mother ship will come to take all the believers back to the home planet. Religious people like you are gullible idiots who can't come up with there own ideas or opinions, or have a life, so you will easily believe what others tell you, even if there is no proof of it.

  • you dont see the proof because you are blind.

the woman/ witch thing I dont get..

home planet??? flat world?? the bible says it round.

I have always said the same about ppl like you "gullible" believe anything but the truth.. evolution etc

I dont know, if I am an idiot or not but I do know that I wont burn in Hell like a fool will.

The FOOL has said in his heart there is no God.

  • Hell? Ok, PROVE that there is a HELL, Show me a picture, I'll believe it when I see it. HELL was invented by religion as a scare tactic to make gullible people believe what that religion wants them to believe. Obviously, it has worked on you. If you ask me, we are already in Hell, it's called life. Death is easy, Life is more torture and a lot harder then being dead.

  • life is more torture than being dead???

    death is easy?

    prove it.

if you think this is Hell you are in for a big surprise.

maybe you know how man got here? science doesn't, just plays guessing games...

dont ya think its fascinating the bible describes Hell as a holding place until judgment and almost always refers to it as down. I wonder if the center of the earth is Hell? when refering to the Lake of Fire its outer darkness extreme heat, like a blackhole out in space, never ending

  • Prove it? Lets see, when you're dead you dont have to worry about Money, Paying Bills, Rent or Mortgages, Insurance, Jury Duty, jail time for commiting a crime, Parking/speeding tickets, accidents, safety, chores, Food or hunger, getting fat, getting old, disasters, Your Health, getting Sick, Injuring Yourself, dying & Death itself, or crazy people like you. You dont have to worry about any of these cuz youre DEAD! Thats why people commit suiced, becuz its easer to be dead then alive.

  • are you going to kill yourself?

  • No, Life may be hard, but I am a strong person and I can tough it out. If you kill yourself, then youll be missing out on many opportunities, which is why if you limit yourself and your mind to what a religion tells you to believe, then youll be missing out on A LOT. Only weak people commit suicide, Strong people think for themselves and dont need a religon to tell them what to believe.

  • whats the point in living?

  • Nobody knows the true meaning of life, but I believe u r alive so you can have new experiences, meet new people, see new places, and by doing that, youll learn new things. Basicly youre hear to do all the things u couldnt do if u were dead. If u r going 2 commit suicide, then why are u alive in the first place. also, it is better to keep your mind open, and not be so quick to pass judgement. if u do so, then youll be missing out on a lot

  • I know the true meaning of life.

We are here because of a decision Adam made in the Garden of Eden. We are here because of Gods grace and mercy. We are here to decide where we will spend eternity. We are here to accept or reject the gift of pardon God has offered us through His Son Jesus Christ. And that is the only reason we are here and nothing else.

  • I was just wondering how do I get my name off the list for supporting prop 102. I mean I only signed the petition back in 2006 because I was high and drunk as a motherf@cker. Hell I voted against the last version of prop 102.

But what I think is funny as hell is that noone is mentioning the whole reason why we have marriage licenses. I'll give a hint they're a Jim Crow law put into place to make sure that people never could never intergrate.

  • Not only that but they make a convenient little taxation point.

  • who would want to vote yes on this, "stop the hate in this state" so vote no. 1man 1 woman. sure it's not about religion, so why throw the word "marriage" in there. why amend the constitution. remember trouble comes in 3 ,,,1. government 2. church 3. insurance companies. it's like if your not married by church and state and this prop passes your insurance will not pay benefits to the surviving partner i know i work for an insurance company. the law is the law right? so no benefits for you.

  • umm 102 is about setting the moral boundry pertaining to marriage thank you, lets take religion out of this, most are voting yes based on their conciouse , look at the roman empire, when homosexuality rises in a nation that nation will not stand!!!! my conciouse tells me one woman and one man, simlple as that, nothing in that proposition says anything about religion

  • Rome fell for other reasons, such as becoming to large to defend against barbarians. Not because of homosexual marriage. You fail history, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Thanks for playing.

  • As long as your talking about Roman history they fell for many reasons the biggest factor being an overstreched millitary

  • Thanks for letting me know, I didn't realize there were issues with the sound, but then again I have a pretty good amplifier.

  • The Jews should rise up and force Kosher to be the law!

The racists should rise up and make interracial marriage illegal again!

We all know that marriage needs to be "saved". After all, the 60% divorce rate in America is because of "the gays".

Lets waste tax money to amend the constitution! After all legislating morality is so very important.

America was founded on religious FREEDOM, it was not founded as a Christian Theocracy (despite the lies you've been fed otherwise)

  • WOW!! Ignorance at it's best! Marriage is by God! And as for our country. I think you need to read some history since you seem to have not. Our country was built on Christianity! THIS IS A CHRISTIAN NATION! And no! Marriage is defined as being between a MAN & WOMAN! Look, all this is simply about equal rights for couples. I am for that, but not at the insult of my "CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE"!

  • Wrong. Founders were not "Christian", many were Deists. They understood the need for religious freedom, as many had abandoned their homeland due to religious persecution. They had also seen where the church had been allowed to go horribly wrong in Salem and other locations. This is not a Christian nation, never has been and never will be except in the eyes of folks such as yourself.

  • Im a christian voting no on 102

  • Great! Thank you!

  • I couldn't sit through more than a minute of this video--just want to say YES ON PROP. 102!

  • Thanks for wasting the state money with the court cases that will be filed to overturn such unconstitutional laws.

  • Doesn't everyone get tired of watching the same protect marriage / equal rights videos? Some of people are getting onery and need to lighten up. I suggest watching the "Gay bar" videos. I love you all *innocent smile*

  • YES on prop 102

  • Eh, no.

  • Umm yeah right!!

  • shotburier -- what you don't understand is to impose your interpretation of what constitutes marriage is based upon religious grounds that are in conflict with the religious view of others. If the government cannot, by virtue of its position, protect all views on religion then it fails to provide equal protection. Which is a part of the very fundamentals of the US Constitution. If it is not equal for one it is not equal for all.

    Vote NO on Prop 102

  • NO ON PROP 102!!!

  • Therefore, government is prohibited from establishing religion and infringing upon religion but there is no rule prohibiting religious influence upon government even though liberals would like to re-write that into the constitution, it is not there.

  • No, there is no attempt to 'rewrite' the constitution. It expressly states freedom of religion, prohibits the free exercise there of, and also expressly states the equal protection under the law. It's right there in black and white.

Honestly, what is the fear about allowing two men or two women to marry? What are you all so afraid of?

  • The state never owned the rights, therefore, the state cannot control the rights, nor should it. The idea of the constitution in reference to religion is to protect religious freedom and not to destroy it.

  • And yet, those who are against allowing gay marriage are attempting to do just that.

  • They believed that the government of the united states was founded on the principle of the belief of a deity was influential in guiding them in the formation of the declaration of independence and the constitution and that very constitution and declaration of unalienable rights, all rights of humans were given by God and not by the state and that the state existed and exists today to protect those God-given rights.

  • From the very beginning in congress both houses opened session everyday with prayer. Different religious ministers and priests were asked to offer those prayers. The founders believed in a deity.

  • -This is where you libs miss the constitution and attempt to re-write it. What the founders said was that the state shall not infringe upon religion. Nowhere did they say that religion would not be part of or influence government. If you'll look at the founders, it is clear that what they were attempting to accomplish was to protect religious freedom where the state could not mandate "a" religion.

  • If a law prohibits a religion from freely exercising the same rights as fellow religion, that is prohibiting the free exercise there of.

  • "Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

  • A lot of right-wingers DON'T "get this." And when high courts rule IN FAVOR OF rights like this (e.g. CA & MA), they suddenly get accused of B-ing "radical activist judges." ODD how very many OF those judges were appointed by conservative Republicans, 2. Bleah. :P

  • Exactly. Thank you!

  • Regarding the State of California, it WAS once Proposition 22 (I believe that failed!) Sadly, it was "proposed" by an uptight right-winger whose SON was openly gay! (I believe the last name, anyway, was Knight). THIS year (2008) it is Proposition 8.

  • Watch my video on gay marriage as well. I did a video similar to this before he did, but I totally agree with this guy!

  • a local :) Great to meet you

  • Nice to meet you too! Thank you for your video response, very insightful!

  • America is Soooooooo UPTIGHT, Geeeez!

Gay marriage is LEGAL in Canada & England & life goes on as usual...

    Marriage amendments are SOOOOO Yesterday!

...VOTE 'NO' on 8 in CA!

...VOTE 'NO' on 102 in AZ!

...VOTE for OBAMA in ALL States!

  • Great point!

  • Christians are respectors of God's natural plan...this is nothing anti-gay...it just upholds what is right. I'm all for health benefits, and community benefits, but this is the way it has been and should continue to be.

NoBama 08! He's not the answer...Hilary would have been a better choice (she has experience)...no one has yet to name a piece of legislation that has Obamaless was responsible for...

  • First, your comment about Christians and respecting of "God's Plan", that would be your God's plan. Not mine. Thank you for playing "We're not all Christian in America".

For more info on Obama in the Legislature, Wikipedia has a whole page dedicated to bills he sponsored. I think that talking points memo you read against Obama was slightly nonfactual.

  • Keep fighting. Same thing going on over here in California (well most of it is coming from Utah). I just donated $102 to the No on Prop 102 Campaign.

No on Prop 102 in AZ!

No on Prop 8 in CA!

  • Thank you!

  • Thanks for the kind words. I just posted a new video on the matter and included Prop 102 in this one. I'll be voting no on 102.

    =)
