  • daaaamn rachel is hella fine

  • From his deceit to his father, his sons lied to him. For his betrayal to his father, his sons betrayed him.

  • God punishes Jacob, but he honored Isaac's blessing. Jacob slaved for 14 years for Laben, his wife Rachel died in child birth. His favorite son was in Egypt for most of his life, while Jacob thought him dead. He endured a famine that caused his entire family to leave the land his father, and grandfather were promised. He lived with a limp and pain in his thy for most of his life. Yes, God honored Isaac's blessing, but he punished Jacob for his deceit.

  • Follow up - So is the reason why he is living in Gods House (Bethel). Even he is over the archangels.

So conclusion is: People who often believe in God only do their actions because of God and not because it is the right. They do it because they hope for something in return in the afterlife. Which might let you in paradise, but you won't become the prince of God like Jacob became.

  • @RestodruidNozon When the Holy Spirit presides in your body, you do things out of good will, not because you have to. You do it because it's pleasing to God, not because we have to. The more of a mind of Christ you develop by reading the Bible, the more you will just do these things. You develop the mind and character of Christ... It's not because you're looking for some heavenly reward. It's because you feel His love for you. When you feel the love, u care not about stature, or benefit to self.

  • @Peaceryder

How can it please God to only make me, personly, only let me see all the bad things in this world. Keep meeting suicides - incest victims and so on every month... The only feeling I feel is all the hate I gain from helping these people. And I believe that Hebrew Bible is more right about this story than the Bible of Christ? (They have changed it..)

  • Jacob is the story everybody should read. (Havn't watched the movie yet, but I have read about it)

Jacob had no believe in God - all the good things he did wasn't be justify himself to come to paradise - it was because it was the right to do, to make an utopia. This movie has turned it 180 degrees. But the point of Jacob is that the believing of God doesn't get you near to God - it is the honest action you do for your people for nothing in return at all.

  • In the Bible, Jacob was a bastard. Not a trickster. He cheated his brother out of all the good that came his way, was rewarded handsomely in his lifetime, and never repented for anything. His life is definitely not a model for anybody, and his story is not one that should be taught to children.

  • @CracKDacKle Esau held his birth right of so little esteem he sold it for a bowl of pottage. No one cheated Esau. Esau cheated himself.

  • @BrotherMichael1000 He thought Nimrods servants were going to come and kill him for killing King Nimrod in the fields while hunting:

It is written in the Book of the Upright (Jasher)

Joshua 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

    Now you see !!!

  • @arctictimberwolf It does not matter whether he was afraid or not. He sold his birth right. This showed he was unworthy of the blessing. To whom much is given much is expected.

  • @BrotherMichael1000 There will be an account for everything so it does matter.

Bottom line with Jacob and Esau is a contract is a contract. ALL sales are final ; ^ )

    ^..^

It is not written that Esau was afraid, he was not afraid. Do not twist scripture.

  • @arctictimberwolf I haven't twisted scripture. You brought up some extrabiblical book and claimed Esau had killed Nimrod and was afraid. Esau doesn't deserve pity for what happened to him. He was after the flesh and didn't see that the birth right meant more than herds, land and etc. Genesis 49:10 "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be."

  • @BrotherMichael1000 Now you are twisting my words. I NEVER SAID ESAU WAS AFRAID !!! WAKE UP !! Can you read? Guess not ! You are twisting words. Are you TWISTED ! The book is reference in the cannon more than once and all the dates and genealogies match. WAKE UP !! DO NOT TWIST MY WORDS AGAIN !!!

  • @arctictimberwolf I do not read outside of the biblical scripture. If you wish to continue dialogue with me then keep to what we have in scripture.

  • @BrotherMichael1000 Same to you man, you even twist the cannon scriptures.

It does not say that Esau was afraid. That is just something you think it says !

    WAKE UP !

  • @BrotherMichael1000 Maybe you are not appointed to know !!

  • @BrotherMichael1000 Gen 25:29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint

25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage for I [am] faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

25:31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.

25:32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?

IT IS NOT WRITTEN THAT HE WAS AFRAID !!!

  • @BrotherMichael1000 FAINT

    Strong's H5889 - `ayeph עָיֵף

    1) faint, exhausted, weary

    ^..^

    DO NOT LIE AGAIN !!!

  • @arctictimberwolf I haven't lied you made a reply to me intending it to someone else. You need to recheck who you sent that original text I sent you a pm you need to read it.

  • @BrotherMichael1000 Yep, I intended these posts for you. I know who I'm directing these to. Grab a shovel and start digging up the treasures man !!! You have not been digging deep ! ; ^ )

  • @BrotherMichael1000 I neither care nor want to know about cabalistic writings.

  • @BrotherMichael1000 Jacob and Rachel did act deceptively and Jacob did beguile Esau but this was all for the Glory of God just as Joseph was sold into slavery to the Egyptians.

Prov.25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

  • @arctictimberwolf Esau wasn't beguiled he was of the flesh and did not see the value of the blessings of God. All who follow the flesh are trapped in a snare.

  • @BrotherMichael1000 There you go twisting words again. You need to wake up. Go drink some coffee. Jacob did act deceptively towards Esau on several occasions. You can't trick me I've read the account. Maybe you should go reread it cause you're all mixed up.

  • @arctictimberwolf YOU'RE BOTH RIGHT ... DUAH!! Just like both haAdam and Eve BOTH had sin!

  • @BrotherMichael1000 What are you any way? You got 0 video views, only 4 subs and no profile pic. In the real world that is suspicious like something a spy or the CIA does. What's your excuse?

  • @arctictimberwolf Firstly as screwed up as you tube has been since the so called "improvement" I wouldn't be surprised at the errors found on their site. As to being CIA I would say this. I have absolutely no confidence in government employed by man. I will obey the laws of the land I live in only insofar as it doesn't not violate my conscience to do so. Why people subscribed to me I can't tell you as it would be their decision not mine. Why would I need a excuse?

  • @BrotherMichael1000 Are you crazy too? Of course you have a choice as to who subscribes to your channel. If you do not want subs remove them. It is as easy as that. What are you doing building a rats nest?

  • @arctictimberwolf Yep you caught me. It's my evil plan to create the biggest you tube empire ever devised. All I need now is a cat and a evil lair and a wicked plan for world domination. Can't put anything past you. (Apparently you can only fool some of the people some of the time)

  • @BrotherMichael1000 LOL, funny

  • @arctictimberwolf Glad we understand each other then.

  • @BrotherMichael1000 Choose your words carefully. I do not stand under any man. I understand the LORD. I never wave my GOD given rights !

  • @arctictimberwolf please brothers...stop arguing...that is not like christ...both of you stop fighting over pointless things...paul warned of this..What do you think those who are not in christ are thinking when they see christians fighting and attacking eachother. No wonder ppl do not want to come to christ...because we act nothing like him. MAKE PEACE WITH EACH OTHER! STOP FIGHTING PLEASE. JESUS BLESS AND GUIDE YOU BOTH.

  • @hc2rocks LOL, chill, Ain't you ever seen the male sheep in a flock but heads, lol

    ^..^

watch this and see if ya wanna get in the middle

    /watch?v=4sA1c1WErUk

  • @hc2rocks Go on and continue then...to make the LORD JESUS look like a madman. It is His wrath and judgment that will fall on you...and not mine. I beg you to love and not argue while the time is short. for the sake of Jesus and the lost. I fear no man but only the LORD GOD. so i will tell you to please forgive repent and walk like Jesus wants us too. please

  • @hc2rocks amen!

  • Jacob kissed his first cousin on the lips. Really disgusting

  • @britishlaw

This movie also shows that Jacob kissed his father Isaac on the lips. I highly doubt that really happened. He probably kissed him on the cheek according to an ancient custom.

  • wow, there are some serious actors in this

  • Jacob is a jerk, why wouldn't he just give his brother some porridge?

  • @KnightOwl2006 He was greedy too. He did it for the birthright. His fathers wealth.

  • @hellavadeal obviously haven't read GOD's word or watched the movie

  • @stephen22564 You obviously do not understand sarcasm.

  • @hellavadeal known as the lowest form of wit and hardly appropriate when dealing with GOD's word

  • @stephen22564 You some sort of self-righteous Bible thumped. Didn't Jacob wrestle with God? This movie doesn't go word for word with scripture. He did trick his brother out of his birthright and knew he was wrong doing it . That is why he fled. It is also why he sent an appeasement to his brother when he returned. Jacob was a trickster.

  • @hellavadeal who got him to trick his brother ?

GOD knew the hearts of both esau and jacob

you are leaning on your own understanding

try re- reading prayerfully and see the outcome

GOD uses unrighteouness to further HIS plan and we cannot understand the mind of YAH nor should we try

HE has clearly stated what HE desires and HE WILL succeed

  • @stephen22564 No doubt. Jacobs mother was behind Jacobs deceit. Jacob broke several commandments. He is an example. We are all full of sin, but God still loves us. Jacob was just a man. But because he was repentant God used him to be the father of a nation. This film adds to and takes away from the scriptures.

  • @hellavadeal in my experience no biblical movie has truly represented GOD's word which gives proof of man's sinful nature and satan's influence

although it is good to see an approximate visual representation of biblical events we must rely on GOD and not man to tell us the truth for man's heart is full of deciet and wickedness unless he gives it to GOD to remould

  • @stephen22564 AMEN

  • @hellavadeal The law was given about 300 years after him. he didn't once.

  • @hellavadeal Jacob did wrestle with an angel and it was shown. the word Isreal means "wrestle with God".

  • @KnightOwl2006 cuz he was a jerk lol. Take it from someone w the same name ;)
