  • thx man.........!!!

  • Nice exercise!

  • Notice you're using the weight of your entire arm to press a note. It's tiring. As you speed up, you'll realize you can't play like that. Once you speed up, the only possible way to play that quickly is to transfer the motion more to your fingers, which is what you're NOT training yourself to do in this video.

  • The pianist of this video seemed to think such an exercise did her good, so who are you bozos to contradict her? If you want more advanced lessons, go look for them or pay a teacher to give them to you.

  • Just play an etude. These finger exercise things are mostly useless.

  • Looks like a good fingertraining, do left and right hand play the same notes at the same time?

  • it is a hanon exercise!

  • 1:11 is a great example of the accuracy.

  • men u can make a million of exercses like that,it sound like some pop song this chords...

  • have you?

  • thank you....

  • pretty good exercise your piano needs tuning as you may be already aware though

  • Good exercise,

but am i supposed to friggin

pause this video every split second to

see wht keys to press with which finger.

gosh, this is supposed to be a tutorial.

    not a show! lolz.

good job, but try to be nicer to the(noobs) begginers out there. like me. lolz

    outs there

  • It reminds me of Hannon excises

  • @baileal no Hanon actually WORKS!! this is absolute tosh!

  • @baileal no Hanon actually WORKS!! this is absolute tosh! this person obviously had a crap teacher lol you might as well play three blind mice for all the good this does!

  • Not good, almost useless. This is old fashion approach to piano playing.

  • Thought some times, old fashioned way can be the best :) (Ps: im not saying that this IS the best way but yeahh lol...)

For people who actually can read notes, and arent really begginers but want to secure accuracy and speed, i think the best way would be:

Czerny. (try School of velocity? {sry dunno if its called like that i have the book in french ^^") but yes it will deffinatly improve ur skills! (Ive been playing it since ive started in my academy!)

    Good Luck to all! :)

  • yeh i see how this works. It makes like ur fingers memorise each distance

  • Great. Thanks for the technique. I shall become a piano black belt and challenge you to a piano dual. lol. Add more!

  • Which volume of exercises do you take this from??

  • N/A sorry, this exercise was given to me, by my teacher 4 years ago. I dunno where he got it from.

  • This excercise method obviously does little to improve accuracy, given that you made at least 5 errors in this video (botched notes), at various tempos.

  • hmm just wonderin, are you a human being? what you did there is almost impossible lol!! i'm amazed!

  • kero

go to youtube's search function and type in

    Gilels

and click on the first one ok?

    NOW IS HE HUMAN

  • I've been searching for an exercise like this to help with my speed and accuracy. I'll give it a try and maybe even respond in a couple of weeks to give a review or something :)
