I stayed here last summer...my suite was pretty much identical to this one and it was amaazzinngg!! i love the Wynn and can't wait to go back this summer. It's a little far down the strip but the service and hotel itself is just beautiful!
So was this a parlor suite or salon suite? Either way, it looks gorgeous and quite spacious. I can't wait to try one myself. Wynn & Encore are my favorite Strip casinos.
It was what they call a Twr Suite. In the Wynn Tower There is a dividing wall that splits that tower into two towers. I estimate the Tower Suites take up about 1/3 on each floor. There is a separate check in desk and separate elevators if you are staying in that section. I had the standard luxury Tower Suite and they go up from there. The parlor is fully private from the bedroom. Total sq ft almost 1000. I have stayed in the the "regular" part twice. Those rooms are 500 sq ft and beautiful.
Love the name. Bette fans share something in common: We love one of the greatest LIVE stage performers of all time. Nobody has the stage presence of the Divine Miss M! As for your question about the rate, it was a casino comp. I have been a very skilled blackjack player for 21 years. Sometimes I win and sometimes I don't. I have given Wynn some pretty heavy action--enough to get invites for off-peak times at least. I cannot believe that trip was 3 years ago this month! Time flies!
It would be the PERFECT place to take you Mom & Aunt! I'll say this about Wynn, if you play the tables--especially Blackjack--they offer a decent game which is a LOT more than I can say about the Venetian or Palazzo next door where they use 8 decks on every game except in the high limit area at $300 - 500 min per hand.
Great suite, but only if you can afford the cost of the room, the air, all your food, and gambling. That adds up to a pricey pricey week for a week. And you haven't even bought one beer yet LOL.
Actually, this room was free (so to speak). It was a casino invite for 3 free nights in one of the "Tower Suites" at Wynn. I played a lot of Blackjack there a few months before and lost my ass. If you were to pay the rate on that room, depending on the dates and demand--I imagine they get anywhere from $550 min on up to $2000 in peak demand.
The regular rooms are beautiful and not real expensive during the week. It's definitely a class joint!
Wow! 11 month ago and I'm just noticing this incredibly kind compliment of my video. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I did not shoot the video with YouTube in mind--it was just posted on a whim.
I can't believe these comments! Seriously, youtube criticism! Like it's the freakin' sundance film festival! Nice job, Mutt! I've stayed at the Wynn, but not in a suite. Thanks for a look at the other side of the hotel.
Thanks for the not so constructive criticism. I didn't really intend to shoot anything that would draw rave reviews. In fact, posting on YouTube was really an afterthought. I completely agree—my video is completely unprofessional and too long as well.
I assure you that I was a full fledged slut long before the age of 30. Fortunately, those days are long gone. I'm amazed that over 1800 people have viewed this video and flattered that anyone bothered to comment on it--even to pan it.
You probably didn't need to name everything, you sound like someone who got laid for the first time at like 30!!! Also is it too much to ask for you to use a shitter camera next time, maybe an 0.3mp camera on a phone or something!!!! Later....

Sorry I took so long. There is no comparison in my opinion. Wynn beats the Venetian or the Palazzo hands down.

It all boils down to whether or not you can take the money off the tables and get out of town before giving it back!
