the clean & clear continuous control cleanser works really really well for pimple treatment, its in a purplely container and has 5% benzoyl peroxide. I bought it a while back when I had a nasty breakout and I still use it BUT I only use it at nigh because it can be very drying, I dunno just thought Id let everyone kno :)

I love my Jane blush, I have a darker one tho. It's my go to blush for everyday. I mix it with my Moon River from MAC. I bought the Persa Gel a week or so ago..it works well but it dries my skin out soooo bad. Dry skin or breakouts.What a delimma. lol. Great haul =)

I don't break out a lot, but when I do I use the Clean & Clear Advantage spot treatment (comes in a silver bottle with purple top) and I LOVE it. I use it overnight and usually the blemish is gone by the morning. :)

the girl from my mac store told me the same thing...stay away from MSF if u have oily skin! :)...i have oily skin & i used to use their mineralize satin finish foundation from the mineralize range...& it's a NO NO...my skin became oilier...like hell~ :(

yes, definite no no, i own a couple, but only use it for highlight...on my upper cheeks, i too have oily skin, very prone to breakouts, i actually use, acnefree severe, and it works really nice, it takes a month or two to really clear ur skin, but after that ur golden, but yea mfs all over ur oily face, not...ur putting glow over oil...doesn't work...lol lol

When your spray bottles get clogged try to run the nozzle under warm water. The sea salt sprays get clogged often, Hope that works for you.

you should try out skinoren for acne spots. it works extremely well!! it's recommended by a pharmacist and i was doubtful at first because i have tried gazillion blemish cream and none works "wow" on me but this skinoren is superb! i recommended it to friends who are having blemishes too and they too said it's awesome! do go to your chemist store and ask for skinoren. it's not an on the go counter product at here as we need to get it from the pharmacist but am not sure over there. try it!

I don't think you should keep it if you're not going to use it. And if it is not good for oily skin, and people aren't happy with it, you probably won't use it. (Save your money!)

Also, I tried one of the sample kits from EDM, and didn't like it. I can't seem to get mineral foundation to work for me. Not only does it not cover anything, but it also looks cakey at the same time. I look better with no makeup on. Any tips?

I have MSFN and I purchased it for the full price and I'm definitely not too happy with it. However I do think you should keep yours because you got it for 17.50! But you need the right brush to have this look amazing on your skin.

I love EDM, too!!! I have the MSF in Medium Plus.  I like it, but I use my EDM more often, but I have to mix it. If I'm in a huge rush and not going anywhere particularly special (grocery store, for a walk, etc.), then I'll throw on the MSF for light coverage and MAC Blot Powder over top.

i have the mac mineralized skin finish in medium and its a little too pink for my asian skin. it covers OK, its not amazing- i used up the entire dome, and now it's this weird shiny flat surface that doesn't really allow any product to get onto a brush. uh. i don't know if that made any sense.

I used to use this clean&clear persa-gel and didn't really work for me. i've been using Murad acne spot treatment and I abolutely LOVE it. it's a miracle treatment. it's expensive but to me it was worth the splurge.

also your not supposed to use powder to absorb oil, it clogs pores and makes you even oilier sometimes. just use clean and clear oil absorbing sheets, they are amazing!

i also recently got the MAC MSF in natural, however the original prace is about $27 so you snagged yourself a great deal. however it really doesn't provide a lot of coverage, it only sets your foundation. After viewing your other video, you said you really like the Rimmel Stay Matte powders, so i grabbed one from target and firgured those work WAY better than my mac msf powder. i would probably just return it, if it isn't used yet=)

I think you should try the Mac MSF, I've been using mine for a finishing powder over liquid foundation because it gives a nice dewy glow without looking shiny. I have combo skin too, by the way. I also wear it alone sometimes over a primer. It's so different from other powders since it's so finely milled and natural looking. Apply with a buffer or kabuki brush. :-)

A super good blotting powder is "get even" by a company called benefits. Its an awesome powder, it stays all day you dont need to re apply during the day that much the formula is thick so you dont need very much. i live in canada and i don't know if its a canadian product they might have a website i really really recommend it.

I think you should definitely keep the MAC MSF, it's great as a final finishing powder, especially if you're using more matte products underneath. I have combo skin but this adds just the right amount of glowiness so I don't look dead with all my matte foundations/powders underneath.

The Mineralized skin finishes are better off as setting powders and to dust all over your face however I'm not very keen on those too because they're a little too shimmery for my liking and may make me look "shiny". However if you are thinking of exchanging, a good alternative is to get a darker color (darker then your skin tone) so you can also use it as a bronzer.

ive found that i use my skin finish for when i just dont have time to do my makeup in the morning. its a great thing to have in those "dang, no time, get out of the house NOW!" kind of deals. it has a light coverage so you cant go wrong when in a rush. however, ive found that its just not one of my "i *have* to use it everyday" type of things but it does have the staying power youd expect from MAC products.

Just want to warn you that your CCS/CCO might not let you return the MSF. My CCO only does exchanges, but they won't give you your money back. Check your receipt to make sure.

I have combination acne-prone skin and my MSF broke me out, made me look oily and after an hour it looked cakey on me. I really wanted to love it, but it wasn't working for me. :( The only thing I like about it was the coverage and packaging.

i would much rather use the High Definition Powder by Make Up For Ever than the MAC mineralized powder. I have oily skin too and this thing is amazing. I put lotion on, then a face primer, some concealer and the HD powder... and voila! my face looks flawless and matte! :) during the day, i use those oil blotting sheets and then my face goes back to being matte.... i don't even use regular powder! :) you should try it out!!!
