  • @marinemania thanks for the explanation. its really nice having the glissando there at the first measure and it really comes naturally with horns i dnt know why but i have to remind them that theres no glissando for thinking that thats what the composer wants as it is a overture.

  • is there really glissando on the horns on the very first measure? i checked the music and there where no glissandos on the horns on the first measure.

  • @musiko83 Musicality includes filling in what is not seen on the page. The glissando simply makes it more exciting- it makes perfect sense musically.

  • i mean are there woodwinds in this recording or

seriously, the clarinet part at measure 12 is beautiful and it gets no chance to shine in this recording. i barely heard it at all.

  • Wow! This piece is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! It is sooo professionally done!!! I LOVE the ending on the last chord!!!!!!!!

  • pretty good group whoever it is. I'm performing this with my symphonic band

  • Best recording of this I've ever heard.

  • @pjfunny1 I've heard better. Balance needs work. But otherwise, well played by all parts, I must say.

  • This piece can either be dream or a nightmare for a horn player, but when it's good it's FANTASTIC!!!!!

  • What group is this? Excellent, whoever they are!
