  • I love this architect!!! he's known for his surreal buildings. If most people today were amazed by his work, i cannot imagine how stunned were the people in his time upon seeing all of his master piece.

  • his work is wasteful .. i don't like his work

  • @AbdoHad90 that's because you're a dull peanut

  • Mah, turtles are crawling on the roof again!

  • I love this series of videos, but when I start to enjoy them... they finish! Oh, and just a little thing, in catalan (Antoni) it's pronounced exactly as in spanish (Antonio) but without the last O, so the accent would be in the first O not in the A, that way it sounds italian! lol. Cheers from Barcelona!

  • Gaudi is my favourite architect!!Thanks for the video!

  • my fav architect

  • Gaudi was a forerunner to the steel-reinforcement of concrete, beautiful birdhouse by the way.

  • hey doug

have you ever heared something about hundertwasser? he is an austrian architect and reminds me very much of gaudi.

i pass by his buildings every day.

  • What would be used to make those forms? Concrete or something?

  • Love the birdhouse.

  • when i went to spain an experienced his work in first hand, his work became the most influential reasons why I am going to architecture school.

  • something grown from the earth...that's something to think about ^^

  • OMG! That is phenomenal, thank you so very much for introducing his architecture to me. It's gorgeous and I love the entire concept behind his work. I want to expand on it through my own design.

  • I absolutely love you for this ! i love Gaudi!

  • if he means "still in motion" could be reference to the fact that cathederal in barcelona has bean under construction for 120 YEARS!!!!!

  • gaudi... my favourite... he was amazing.

  • this changes the way i think as an aspiring architech

  • the best birdhouse so far

  • @howtoarchitect -hoping victor horta is on your list (I am crossing my fingers)...

  • Last year I visited from the inside both Casa Battló and Park Güell and they blew my mind... Such misterious and magic feel Gaudí's work has

  • It seems that there are a lot of people who don't really give a damn about the video. They only care about being the first one commenting it. Did you even watch the video?

  • @destroyerdreams u r not commenting about the video either... so let me say this to make my comment actually worth something, What has been your favorite architect so far?

  • @willman1661 You are right. My bad this time. I thought that the Le Corbusier's video was the most interesting video so far... But I'm really looking forward to see Louis Kahn video, if there might be one. What about you?

  • first

  • @sdrawkcabebag Don't you have anything smarter to say? Have you even seen the video?

  • @gspahr well, youtube isn't exactly a forum for intellectuals, but in fact i love catalonian artists whether they're dali, gaudi, picasso, etc. and If you insist. It's nice to see that architecture is returning to the fantastic and obscure shapes found in art nouveau and expressionist architecture. (in particular gehry and hadid) Is this the comment you would have liked?
