My only problem is if it's okay to charge it while turned on?

well when it says tht go to the psp settings and scroll down to usb charge then press X and turn it off then click it again and turn it back on

well i think its a problem with your usb cable, try with a friend usb cable and it should work, if not, it would be your psp problem

The quality isn't that great, but I didnt know you could do that with the PSP Slim. Another reason why I should get the new one.
