I love this - reminds me of my Gran. We didn't have a TV when i was a kid (hippie parents) but we spent our holidays at Grans and this is so tied up in those happy times for me!
The world needs more wombles! They're clean, they recycle and they're nice to each other. LOVED this show as a kid, and had several womble toys--in fact, still have them, in my attic. Very good memories.

I always thought it was really sweet of them to admit to being common. It wasn't until I was a teenager I realised Wimbledon Common is a place.
