  • Hm, so this is rpoland's first video? Interesting...

  • Really amazing, I love all the Candyrat players

  • Music speaks of the one who writes it.

Then, if Pino is just half as good guy as the musician he is, he must be an incredible person.

  • I cant believe theres no tablature for this song! i would attempt to tab it if i only knew where to begin

  • love the bass line.

  • Ohhhhh yaaaaa thats what my ears wanted to hear

  • My children are listening to this and Motzart.

    Great composition!

  • @Edoss1 motzart, unleavened music that's okay to listen to during passover :-P

  • this is my favorit song by Forastiere^^ it sounds really strange sometimes in a good way xD

i like this kind of music very much its not so boring like the most music in this time^^

  • @metalsoertie Yeah... first times I listened to this, the beginning sounded godawfully wrong to me, but in the end, it all makes sense beautifully!

  • bella pino!

  • Now this is what I'm talkin' about! Fantastic playing. Anyone care to comment as to what the genre of this? I play a similar style and I have no idea what to tell people. Thank you.

  • its simply called acoustic fingerstyle

  • no, acoustic fingerstyle is method of playing...like sweeping or tapping

the genre of music would be ambient/neo-classical

  • @mufasamusic don ross calls it hard wood i believe but this song is kinda soft huh :)

  • Pino channels Michael Hedge - great stuff Pino

  • Simply beautiful.

  • Does anyone else find this piece amazing?

  • i cant get enough of his music.[2]

  • i cant get enough of his music. whew.

  • Anyone know the tuning? Maybe it's just how he is stretching his hands to far notes, but it sounds quite abstract.

  • diriven the tuning for this piece is from low to high C# G# D# E B E =)

  • Thank you, very interesting tuning to play in.

  • I notice that the guy playing seems to have pretty long fingers. I doubt many people could play such a piece easily, even with a lot of practice.

Of course, that doesn't mean they shouldn't try.

  • 1:03 - 1:20

Very impressive. Amazing tone change, great melody.

  • camera in the soundhole, that was awesome

  • a strung up guitar top

  • Thanks for posting *****

  • muy fino... gracias desde argentina.

  • can't believe how big his hands are!

  • I bow down to this man. I just sit and gape watching him. I used to think Pierre Bensusan was the shit, but this one? WHOA!!!

  • Bhè.. che dire..!! Un grande artista.. :) un saluto da Potenza (Pz)

  • in all my years I've never heard the acoustic guitar mastered in such a way that these candyrat folks have mastered it.

  • I just love acoustic guitar =)

  • his fingers are huge

  • great playing, but annoying video that's often out of focus -even if intentionally. Would liek to see it clearly and write the tabs up! hehe

  • just to let y'all know, if you're in the NYC area, Pino is playing a concert at The Monkey on July 26th. their site is themonkeynyc dot com. hope to see you there.

  • Fun fun fun!

What a great composition for counterpoimt! I love this stuff.

  • This is probably the most complex composition I have seen on youtube, and possibly period.

  • wow...

  • Tut mir leid nichts gegen dieses eine Lied aber ich denkt das es irgendwie scheisse ist mir gefällt es net weil dieses Lied keinen boden hat der spielt net mal eine gescheite melodie...

  • what a fucking genius. i love this guy!

  • lovely I really enjoyed that

  • I was lucky enough to him play a very intimate gig, only about 20 of us, last week or the week before in Guildford UK. Bought one of his albums on the spot. One of the most inspiring performances and playing I have ever seen live, and he played it with such passion that you rarely see. I bought his Rag Tap Boom album and would highly recommend it to anyone

  • it makes me feel better as a musician just to know that somewhere people are writing and playing this type of music. just beautiful

  • Such relaxing music and perfectly played makes me dream of a country garden in England.

  • WUNDERBAR!!

  • What tuning is he using? does anyone know where I can get the tab?

  • his hands are huge!

  • Not really it's just not a normal size guitar... I played a lot on 3/4 but also on 1/2, it's very good becouse you can play cords with a big big strech - what couldn't work on normal guitar

  • Although I am not positive I believe he plays a Martin Dreadnaught, perhaps a D-28

  • I bet that's not the only thing ;P

  • lol, for I am a guitar player as well, I will happily say you are right;)!

  • Just sooooooo nice....great piece, wonderfull camera ideas to compliment the vibe :)

  • new age classic

  • Pino, I hear the michael hedges influence....beautiful!

  • Brilliant. For me It's the most breathtaking guitar piece on youtube. The perfect ballance between avantgarde and "easy-to-listning" ;)

  • so nice

  • Like OST to sunset. Amazing.

  • camera inside the guitar. i could watch that alone.

  • camera inside the guitar. i could watch that alone.

  • dufour makes the same...why? whodoescopywho? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRUsAnv8ph4&mode=related&search=

  • I could have watched that on mute and it would have still been good. Great technique, so relaxed and comfortable.
