Nope. Pseudo push ups will give you big front shoulders. Train diamond push ups to target triceps and inner chest. Declined push ups for upper and normal push ups for a general work out. Train all this.
You're a moron. The triceps get a huge workout from these. There is no such thing as "inner chest" and declined push-ups do not give a general work out.
yeah triceps from the extension of the arm but also the lats because of the position of the arms. not only that but the abs will also be working a bit and it will really help wrist strength and flexibility as long as you progress slowly and gradually get your hands closer to your hips.
It seems to be a very good exercise. Since I hurt my shoulder I was looking for something like this. Thanks a lot. And that tutorial about the butterfly kick, it's very good mate, it really is.
You have a good and smooth tecnique, for how long have you been into this?
I think you should call them Komodo Push Ups, they remind me of a komodo or similar reptile moving backwards and forwards ready to make a good move on the prey
Hey, I can see them being called that, but I already call, and know most people here do to, push ups with hands by waist - facing towards your feet pseudo planche push ups...
Was just thinking of a name to distinguish when I am talking about them.
Yea these are very nice, they are very much like a more basic version of a tiger bend, probably a really good exercise for developing into tiger bends!
Very interesting, never seen anything quite like that before. You do that move very smoothly and consistantly. Looks like your developing a lot of arm strength! Keep posting!
Meant to be pseudos that shift main force to the biceps and deltoids and provide greater stress through the movement forward and up simil.
Just thought I would mention, I mean for the hands to be as near to the hips as poss when forward, and for the body to never touch the floor.
My first thing since my big back/knee injury a month and a half ago. Included my AT planche just for fun, since I got them back yesterday - lots of catching up to do hehe...
I thought it was rewinding lol

The lats do not get a workout from this. Muscles only pull. The lats would have to be pushing.
