i have the same problem as 777randomman, is this just the gears not meshing properly? and also can you over tighten the engine so as the gears mesh too much? please reply ASAP i wanna drive again!!

@LittleGreenMen0 It could be the gears not meshing or a missing drive shaft. To mesh the gears just loosen the 4 screws holding the motor and slide it in a bit so the gears mesh, then tighten the motor screws again. I don't think you can over tighten or make the gears mesh too hard unless you really tried.

@andyandvirg i meshed the gears real good and its still not working, also there is no drive shaft missing.

Could this have something to do with the clutch?

@LittleGreenMen0 It must be, that's the only thing left in the drive system. If the motor is working but the gear is not turning then the clutch shoes can't be pushing out onto the clutch housing, or an internal shaft is broken.

can the clutch be adjusted so it engages at slightly higher rpms?

@shazrob22 Not easily. All you could do is put a tighter or shorter clutch shoe spring on.

im having problems with my warhead, i broke it in and everything but i turned it off and let it cool down a bit. then when i tried to start it again the big cog behind the clutch just spins when i pull the starter, any ideas?

Hey! Your vids have helped me alot maintaining my buggy, so thanks for that... -BUT i bought the car like a year ago and i havent used it for the past 6 months :( This is because the car started dying out (low throttle) and i didnt know how to fix this... After two weeks i found out about the mixture screws, but it was a bit late cause the car exhaustionspipe had started to leak... The thing that connects the pipe and the engine... Turns out one of the screws was gone and this fucked up things.

hi when i start my buggy all i can do is rev it and the wheels wont spin do i need 2 by new clutch shoes

shoes are facing the wrong way mate i have mine the other way better grab

use the Teflon shoes mate you get much better throttle response on um and less cleaning :d those metal shoes if im right :d they will give you better start off oomph

hey mate iv got the same motor and the clutch shoes have just warn down in mine and i was wondering where to get a new set ???

Need to unscrew the little grub screw by a few turns using an allen key. That reuduces the pressure on the gear change spring meaning it will change to second earlier.

haw do you make 2nd gear work on a cen NT-16 i have been told you need a scew in the smoth cog in frount of the 2 cogs were thers a litul hole there can you gide me tell me who to make 2nd gear work

Have a look at the clutch spring. It may be stretched or broken.

I have a Atomik Warhead just like the one in this video. I am having truble with the idle. every time it is in idle speed the wheels turn and when i hit the break it stals. dose and one have a clue or a tuning tip.

Thunder Tiger's spring for my old GP.15Bxp was not too expensive and came with new shoes and e-clips in a bag as a set.

thanks A LOT dude, I found out my spring was broken; it wont even wrap around the shoes!!. It started when I heard this high pitch ringing noise, then my wheels kept spinning without me revving. where on earth can i get the spring or a few springs? Thanks a lot man!!

man i havent drove my atomic war head in like 4 yeasr becase the tune is soo fucked on it it wont even start i took it like 3 times to massive mods they tune it they started it for me i come home it wont even start so i give up lol ive spent more money on it then having fun on it ive probley spent more money on it how much i bought it 4

Maybe check that the spring is still attached or not too loose.

That's 2 questions! You connect the spring ends together so that it forms a circle. Then you slip that circle onto the clutch shoes and slide it into the groove. It takes a bit of force to get the spring onto the clutch shoes.
