Maybe the lack of new good music on the radio is a form of psychological control of the populace, the citizens won't get stirred up unless we have some kickass topical music that really informs us of those shitheads that really run the country, and we hear it at the same time, like the old days before they sucked the life out of FM radio.

Hearing a great old song just doesn't have the same effect. as, say, if we all heard Neil Young's "Let's Impeach the President" on the radio at the same time!

yes...vinyl is final. Cdbaby now release vinyl as an option...that would cut down some piracy...Yes i wrote a song for cheap trick once..but it didnt make the album. First red ant record...ONLY originals..NO outside writers.

If society falls apart I can still play my vinyl on a old turntable with a paper cone and a needle! It won't be that loud, but I think that I could rig up a way to uniformly turn the turntable mechanically.

Try doing that with a CD!

Can't wait to see them at Celebrate Virginia May 24,2010.This will be my sixth show over the past 25 yrs. I saw them a few years back in D.C. with Alice Cooper. That was my favorite show of all of them. Glad to see them headlining this one. I always wondered why they have so often played second bill to lesser acts (not Alice though). But I have seen them blow many headline bands off the stage.

Paulie88: Robin is amazing on "Scent of a Woman". One of my favorite songs ever. I've listened to that about 300 times and it still gives me goosebumps. And then he can turn around and sing something soft, light, and high in pitch. He's unreal.

you guys are being too generous....ct definitley get kudos for putting out new music...but thier last real good album was "cheap trick" released in 1997...their later albums will have a decent track here and there but they made thier bones a long time ago...they still deliver live though...rock and roll hall of fame wake up!!!
