  • god do u people have nothing else better to do racing is a way of life and a thrill going over fences at 30mph we all might be as mad as hatters but all my friends who ride out that are my age (16 can not wait every year for the national and some are lucky to get the trip over . but it has to be the best race in the world and hope i will be able to ride in it as the way it is with no changes as it is now and if u look at it if u want horse racing band u may as well bin all the other disciplines

  • U LOT ARE SAD ACTS. HORSE RACING ISNT CRUEL

  • @comeonshaymen Isn't cruel huh? So you wouldn't object to someone saddling you up and whipping the hell out of you while you run and jump at top speed through a race track?

  • @Klasindra Please get ur facts rite. The whip is plastic with a rubber cover. It doesnt hurt the horses, its just a sign to tell them to go faster. And top speed, huh? The National is 4m4f, you'd hardly go at top speed around that. And also, horses love to race, so it would be cruel to not let them race.

    Please Get Your Facts Right

  • @comeonshaymen I didn't specify The National, I generalized the statement just as you did, genius. Also, the rubber cover isn't the only thing that hits the horse when they're being whipped. It looks like you need to fact check more then I. <3

    Please Get Your Facts Right

  • @Klasindra Didn't have enough room in the last comment box so... One last thing before I stop wasting my time on you. The rubber isn't the only thing that hits the horse, the hard plastic handle does too. Both the rubber and plastic hurt the animal when horses are hit during a race. Why does a jockey feel he needs to hit an animal with a noisemaker? Because whips aren't used to just make noises. :P

  • @Klasindra OK Then. 3 questions that i'd like you to answer

    1) Are you a vegan

    2) Do you object to cars

    3) Why the heart at the end

  • @Klasindra Some horses have weals on their skin after a race which is a skin injury.

  • @comeonshaymen If it doesn't hurt them why do some of the horses get weals. It's a mark on the skin. This is fact. Horses don't love to race at all. God I wish you knew the facts.

Some of them have nerves removed so that they can't feel pain and so run faster than they ought to.

    Get YOUR facts right!

  • @marcluc1988 Where did you get your lies from????

  • @marcluc1988 Deluded hippies, trying to ruin life again. Horses DONT have their nerves removed. This is not allowed in racing. And horses do love to race. Once you finished hugging trees, go watch a jumps race, if a horse falls, it carries on, COZ THEY LOVE IT

  • @comeonshaymen They're not sad acts. You're just ignorant of the facts.

  • These people are a shame...

  • @Flowrock Which people are you referring to? If it's those who are trying to make the public aware of the facts being the cruelty, suffering and deaths behind horse racing, I have to disagree.

  • i can see this will only grow. it is the first year i have seen any proper media coverage on it. glad to see it and in 20 years I think this will have changed. if the bbc dropped crufts i could see things changing. then again the bbc are hypocrits
