@jopickjo Although the 16A "Metropolitan" came after the glory days of the E.H. Scott Radio Laboratories (E.H. Scott was out of the picture and the "E.H." had been dropped from the name by then), the 16A is still a darned nice radio and amplifier. Does your radio still have the original Scott labeled Jensen HNP-51 speaker? Click on my user and look for a video that I posted here of my 16A in action. There is also a link in the "info" that takes you to pictures of it that I've posted on my site.
I think I've already seen your 16A photos on the web. The video adds more dimension. Very nice! I'm planning to set mine up similar to yours, fully exposed to show the art work of the chassis! I didn't buy it with speaker. But I have purchased a 1961 Jensen CY120 3-element coaxial speaker to use with it. I,ve also got mechanical drawings for the folded cabinet to go with it. However, still got to find time to build it.
