Romania only used Russia in 1877 without Russian help the Romanian army had no chance in 1877 or in 1916-1917. As for 1913 yes the Romanian Army fought very bravely against the children and old folks in Northern Bulgaria while the entire Bulgarian Army was fighting Greece and Serbia, again you can be proud.

Otherwise I don't see what you is the fuss about. It is true that the Bulgarian number is smaller in numbers then the Romanian and that both armies use largely old equipment. However this doesn't matter as probably both armies will be part of the integrated EU army.
The current crissis will have long term implication on the USA including a decline in its strenght ,so their opinion is not the real issue here. What matters is the will of the europeans and their leaders and as for the American troops in Europe they are here because of treaties that can easily be denounced. We have recent examples - Tajikistan .
No Walachia and Moldavia were principalities governed by rulers with a lower rank then king. not to mention that both were part of the First Bulgarian Empire and for about 80 - 10 years in the Second Bulgarian Empire. The Bulgarian ruler was a Tsar(emperor) and equal in rank to the Emperor of the Eastern Roman Empire.
Romania is here since 1859, before that transilvania,moldova and wallachia were here and before that the the Bulgarian empire and the kingdom of Hungary were ruling these lands.

В средновековието държава Византия е нямало. Имало е само Източна римска империя, ромейска както още е известна на гръцки. Например в легендарния труд на английския историк Едуард Гибън "Залез и упадък на Римската империя" от XVIII век се разглежда цялата й история чак до падането на Константинопол. Althrough I'm Romanian, and we attacked Bulgaria in 1913 (and gained South Dobrudja in the aftermath of the war) I consider the Second Balkan War a great injustice made to the Bulgarian people... Too bad we had to be enemies in 1913, after we were allies in 1877... What happened to Bulgarians in Macedonia, happens today to the Romanians in Moldova. That's only one common point in our history.

Romania only used Russia in 1877 without Russian help the Romanian army had no chance in 1877 or in 1916-1917. Romania capitulated in 1918 and attacked Hungary in 1918 only after the rest of the allies defeated the central powers, how very cowardly and vile. As for 1913 yes the Romanian Army fought very bravely against the children and old folks in Northern Bulgaria while the entire Bulgarian Army was fighting Greece and Serbia, again you can be proud.

@dragunovZG malo citas buraz. Na kosovu nije bilo Hrvata (mozda je manji broj dobrovoljaca postojao, to se ne zna) a nekmoli Austro-Ugarske ili ostalih hriscanskih naroda, samo je Bosna pomogla. I tad se Srbija najvise (da ne kazem jedina) borila protiv Turske. Druga stvar, mozda se deo srpske vojske i borio proti Austro-Ugarske, ali to je nasilno mobilizovana vojska, jer smo bili okupirana drzava. A ko se ono 1. pobunio i oslobodio turske vlasti sa Balkana?

Byzantium and Magyars also ruled over it. It was officially yours in 1830 when it was approved by the Ottoman's Sultan ferman which involved the capital of Serbia.

And when Serbia became divided, Turks come. Their army was 100x bigger than serbian, byt Serbia tried to push them back from Balcan. So stfu all from nations who werent on Kosovo 1389. That was the last chance to push back them frm Europe.And only Serbia (with some help from Bosnia) fought there.

@ballonche bulgaria didnt exist when turkey come to Balcan...and Serbia was really small and weak when Turks started to be stronger... But when Turks conquered Constantinopol, Serbia started to prepare for defend of Balcan, only Serbia (and as i said with some help from Bosnia)

Otherwise I don't see what you is the fuss about. It is true that the Bulgarian number is smaller in numbers then the Romanian and that both armies use largely old equipment. However this doesn't matter as probably both armies will be part of the integrated EU army.

The current crissis will have long term implication on the USA including a decline in its strenght ,so their opinion is not the real issue here. What matters is the will of the europeans and their leaders and as for the American troops in Europe they are here because of treaties that can easily be denounced. We have recent examples - Tajikistan .

No Walachia and Moldavia were principalities governed by rulers with a lower rank then king. not to mention that both were part of the First Bulgarian Empire and for about 80 - 10 years in the Second Bulgarian Empire. The Bulgarian ruler was a Tsar(emperor) and equal in rank to the Emperor of the Eastern Roman Empire.
