I have read most of Geoffs books and attended a training session. I have also been subject to street violence in Plymouth, which has been acknowledged as suffering endemic violence with gangs of youths running amok attacking anyone they don't like the look of and a place where witnesses are intimidated to withdraw their statements or to simply disapear. This is a great video. I know many people at Univeristy who don't know dick about the reality of life. Luckily i was brought up in a working class environment, which I'm very proud of, so was lucky to experience (as a spectator) some of the things on this video. excellent video, have read his books and they are even better.

Bouncers have an impossible job, facing the worst most pissed up scum out there but they still have to obey the rules or they get nicked. Even when they are only doing the job and acting reasonably they often spend the night in the cells so the allegation can be investigated.

unfortunately it's hard to disagree. All I can offer in their defence is that they deal with so many assh*les that they kinda blend into one and everyone gets an unfair deal.

Great writer when writing fact i.e "Watch my back" which was a great book, but his fiction is woeful. "Red Mist" could have been written by my 3 year old. Great man non the less,he has opened so many eyes and minds to the realities of combat. For that I thank him.
