@EXALTEDDIRT God has already forgiven us. GOD doesn't want to send us to hell, why would He? He created us! He loves us! God sees us as broken and empty before we come to Him, not horrible people He hates. We are the creations He loves.

You've made up a god in your own mind and your own image that you are more comfortable with; That's idolatry
Glad to see Chris Dupre's song, yes, Chris Dupre, is getting lots of "likes". He shared this song of his over 4 years ago at our church. It was a song written about his daughter's dancing, a very good story. Chris is a great guy and I hope he's getting proper recognition for his art.

@chillax737 I think it's good to use, the type of love between God and us in this song is a metaphor for the love we have on earth with our spouses, 100% pure, real love. God knows your heart and he's not gunna be like THEY STOLE MY SONG lol, he'd be happy I think if you used it for your wedding.

I did a week of outreach work with the other youth involved with churches in my area last year...we had some friends who joined us from Germany, one of which is a very gifted worship leader. He introduced this song to us. We would go out to skate parks full of drugged up kids and play them this...

The lyrics don't make sense. Love the music, and LOVE GOD, but the lyrics seem to indicate a "romantic" or "sensual" love. Not a pure Agape type of love. Song of Solomon is a book depicting a husband and wife relationship, not exactly the same relationship we are to have with God. I'm open to debate this tho.

So, yes, in addition to being the Shepherd, the Bread of Life, and the Vine, Jesus is, poetically speaking, the Bridegroom. And we—the church—are his bride.
But that doesn't mean I'll be getting into my wedding gown anytime soon.
