you should make a second app where the shot is actually in the zone where you are shoting from meaning the shot would be at an angle and either closer or farther away depending on the zone

It supposed to teach you how to score when you're actually on the ice. More or a training aid then a game. If you can figure out where the best places to shoot based on where you're releasing the puck in the offensive zone then you have an advantage over the goalie who is used to a player picking his head up and searching for a place to shoot. You're quicker release will help you score more goals. But thanks for the helpful comment toobox.

Are all of you retarded?No One plays hockey in these comments. The title of this vid says shooter tutor. Meaning being helpful. I play Midget AA and this helped a lot. He is just showing the tendencies of goalies and if you shoot at the right space at the right time it's likely it will go in. Any one with common sense would know that. It does look fun, but that;s not even the main point. Read this before you comment.

***Biased statement because I designed the game***This app is meant to be educational. Yes, I think it's fun to play but more then anything I know a kid can learn where to shoot on butterfly goalies. If one kid comes into the slot area(Zone 3 as explained in the video) of the offensive zone and rips one by the goalies ear just as he's dropping into his butterfly position instead of into his waiting glove then it helped. I know it's not Assassin's Creed but it will teach you how to score.

The is zero chance this is going to make you a great sniper. Might be fun for a kid but its not going to improve your shooting.

Agreed, won't make you sniper because you are not actually shooting. But this game was meant for you to learn where to shoot in different zones, so that once you are on the ice, you realize "Hey I'm in this area and the best chances to score is to shoot here." Being able to snipe comes from practicing on the ice.
