I cannot hear it without tears. So lovely, and it touches everyone, I think because we all feel we are strangers on this earth. Aside from that, for the last 22 years I have not had a permanent home since my divorce. To me, "home" is where I grew up in Ohio and Indiana on a farm with good parents and a solid, stable, permanent home. My brother runs the farm now, and I am so glad "Home" is still there.
this is such a beautiful, honest song. It has such a sweet meaning, and its full lof raw emotion, and I am so honored to be able to sing this with my ninth grade choir. THis is a beautiful version of this song, and the pictures with it are breath taking.:)
As a lifelong member of the LDS and a follower of the Mo Tab Choir for nearly all my life, this is in my opinion one of the most beautiful songs they have ever sung.
This song does not have a strong spiritual message but just the message of someone heading for home is a reminder that we will someday be heading to our home with our Heavenly Father and the Savior.

I am from California, lived in Alaska and have lived in Southwest Missouri for 31 years. This is, "home" for us.
