  • love it love it love it!

  • I absolutely love this girl , one of the very best female artists i've heard withou a doubt , and she still looks gorgeous 'till this day ... :)

  • Thank you for posting. This is such a beautiful reminder of some very dear childhood memories. The first concert I ever saw was Debbie Gibson, in 1989, when I was 8 years old. We were in the second row and I made a friend named Alison. We got to go backstage and meet the band members, but Debbie was too tired to have us two girls go back and meet her. I was thrilled to meet her sax player, I thought he was so cool. Still have my ticket stub. Ahh... memories.

  • BRITTNEY,KATY.KE$HA AND GAGA ALL WATCHED HER FIRST. DEBBIE YOU ARE THE BEST!

  • Great performance...... this is the genuine talent that will never fade.... i was not born during this time but still l Love it .... ANd i keep on listening debbie gibson's songs

  • @TheOusooner56 you hit the nail right on the head buddy.

  • I was 7 when this came out and I had a crush on her myself. She was awesome!

  • Whoah! Back in my younger days when pop music was all about TALENTED PEOPLE!! Debbie undoubtedly was one of them.

  • @HENRY55994 mate your so right.

  • Anybody got Debbie's original promo vid? If so, please post it! Debbie's studio version hit #3 in Billboard, 4-9-88. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great week!

  • She was awesome here:) -3 Debbie; she sounded different the other day at her concert w/Tiff in NJ but the same energy & talent was there - DG forever!!

  • I had just turned 10 years old when this was filmed. WOW!!! what great memories. I still enjoy her classics as well as some of her music today even in my 30's.

  • I'm going to see her and Tiffany this Friday in New York! Can't wait

  • I had a MAJOR crush on her when I was 8. I used to record this song off the radio!

  • Awesome video of a TRUE talent!! Im so lucky to have been a teenager in the 80s.

  • Que saudades desse tempo rsrsrs era demais !!

  • How can anyone NOT like Debbie? She was a real musician/performer! Not that garbage Britney or Enema or that dimwit Aguilera.

  • @TypOPositiv THe stupidest of them all is Lady Gaga what a doofus!

  • I am so in love with Debbie Gibson's voice!!! She is what Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan should be like!

  • this was my very first concert ever! I was 11 yrs old. WOW!! so 80's; love it!

  • She is a great artist. Sang and writed her songs.

  • i like debbie , is great i love !!!

  • Manufactured music.... always the same.

Never heard of her until a friend (who's a big fan of the 80s) told me about her.

“Popular music is disposable. Listen to a song 25 times and throw it in the bin”

    -Pete Waterman

  • Hard to believe that she sang live.. her voice was amazing, like the studio version. Not many singers are like that nowadays ( talk about Taylor Swift, Katy Perry..)

  • @herlindavid yep, I agree. I heard Katy Perry do a Jingle Ball 2010 and boy, did she sound horrible live.

  • This was when music was MUSIC! great memories!

  • soooooooo groovy - what a superstar!

  • My favourite Debbie Gibson song..remember this so well, great voice and girl next door looks,,,,superb...thank you for posting chikka1971

  • @GRAHAM5020 Thank you for the share Graham...nice song..

    Thank you @chikka1971 for uploading....

  • excelente gracias

  • we need a 25th Anniversary CD + DVD album. even on blu-ray i'll take it. all her songs, her music video, even her Out of the Blue concert.

  • yea... just as i thought. mainstream pop sucked ass back then. now's just even worse but it was always bad.

I NEVER heard of her. Justin Bieber will suffer the same fate

  • @juliusyeung0330 that was a very distasteful remark. she 's been in music for more than 20 years and that Justin Beiber comment was not necessary either

  • Comment removed

  • @juliusyeung0330 Wow! How old are you?

  • @juliusyeung0330 What a damn smart ass!

  • I have this whole concert on vhs and I got the tape when it first came out

  • i wish i could meet her in person.

  • Debbie é o máximo!!! Brasil.

  • always a smile for debbie gisbson :)

  • the number one , i love DEBBIE!!!!!!!

  • I love all of her songs!!! Wow! wish it will all come back to the kind of music and artist the 80's produced!!...like this one!

  • Wow, what a top class performer unmatched even to this day...

  • She's so adorable.

  • who is the black girl on the right side?

  • Dude and that sissy pink guitar! Dude on the drums is tight!

  • @UHeythere

Back then guys were so secure and not worries about their manlyhood that they didn't even think or felt it was girly to have pink guitars, long hair (Bon Jovi and Huey Lewis) or skin tight pants (ACDC).

  • @crxdelsolsir being secure had little to do with it, drugs did!

  • Dude and that sissy pink guitar!

  • I just noticed that the guitar solo guy looked like Val Kilmer.

  • if only we could go back in time to the 80's.

  • When I think 80s its Debbie Gibson and Rick Astley first and foremost.

  • @jcodbf2 Michael Jackson set the bar high during the '80's...Debbie Gibson and Rick Astley...lol

  • @UHeythere

Because every likes Michael Jackson right? Never cared for him. His antics are on stage the only thing people remember. Nothing but a molester.

  • @jcodbf2 well Mr. Jackson is dead, and the point was that Debbie and Rick played to a limited group of people, while Mr. Jackson played worldwide and nobody came close to what he did in the '80's. I personally stopped watching him when he kept grabbing his crotch. Joan Rivers used to joke how she wasn't use to guys grabbing themselves without throwing a pitch!

  • A talented blast from the past. And today is her 40th birthday! She can sing, play the piano and dance. She was genuine and didn't have to be marketed like most of today's young performers. Love Debbie!

  • Reading all the comments about how they wish they could go back to the 80's I'm thinking my parents said the exact same thing about the 60's. What does that make us now? OLD!!

  • she usually looks like punky brewster, I lover her music until these days she looks great saludos from LIMA-PERU

  • Fully dressed teen star singing without a computer modified voice and she doesn't sound like garbage live! Oh and she didn't need the Mickey Mouse Club to become famous. BURN!

  • @hazed819 She is the true talent who earn her place in the industry, not the shake and bake type like many today.

  • Lovely!!!

  • love this song, Debbie is one of my favs :D

  • Made me wish I turn back time. I was 13 when this happened.

  • far i used to love thing song in those days and still do :)

  • te amo debbie... siempre te amaré!!!

  • best song from Debbie in my opinion.

  • and i LOVE that she made her boy band play pink guitars

  • Comment removed

  • @meredithi Must've sucked for the band considerting that it was for the Out of the BLUE tour. But not as bad as it would be now since in the 80's neon colors were considered cool.

  • And there was no trouble with Debbie. No wacky pregnancies or drugs. She made hits, behaved and went to Broadway. Total pro.

  • You're right, 1972franky. Somebody must have the original promo video somewhere. Anyway, it hit #3 in Billboard. God bless!

  • if you wanna go back in time, just get a delorean, DUH!!! Good luck getting that hunk of steel up to 88mph...

  • the best

  • Long Live the 80´s. Wish there existed time travel (back to 1987). This is Debbie´s best tune!! Someone please post the original video!!

  • yes back in the 80's u had to have real talent to make it in the music business not today with dancers who think they are singers or think they are true musicians. Being a great dancer doesn't make u a singer or musician. Debbie wrote her songs and plays piano.

  • Times have definitely changed Tonster and I would give anything to go back 30 years and start all over.

  • @assphincter If you go back to 1980 then you have to be prepared for the bad of that time too. But for the grace of God WW III didn't happen with Russia invading Afghanistan etc. etc.

  • We lived in the day of Ronnie Ray-Gun !!!!! We we're safer and much better of than we are now !!!!!

  • @newlywedws AMEN!

  • yeas not only did she write all her own songs and plays piano to and she was only 16 at the time. Britney Spears is nothing compared to madonna or Debbie Gibson.

  • oh happy days!! she has a beautiful voice even live!! ;-)

  • One of my favorites DG songs...

  • this was our miley of the 80s.

  • Love the live version sounds just like the cd. I would pay big money to see her live. I am soo glad that she is still singing

  • Reminds me of dancing in my old flat with my sister when we kids-her and Tiffany were great!

  • ...real tallent. she never had to sell her T&A like the girls today.

  • @ecsrvjh That's funny as you obviously don't know and have never seen her full body nudity spread in Playboy. She is talented but she showed a lot more than most of them do today.

  • @macca7075 -- Some people enjoy the finer stuff in life (music), not the smutty crap like others tend to enjoy and that the media (including magazines) exploit and tend to try to corrupt society and have done so well in doing so over the many years! Bet if you check the date on that magazine it was after she made her debut with her great music!! I think that "ecsrvjh" was referring to those that do it to promote their careers! She didn't do it before she made it with music! Her music Rocks!

  • @macca7075 her nude body didn't live up all of the hype...she should've kept her clothes on...boring!

  • @ecsrvjh t&a???

  • @joeguinn39 Tits & Ass!!!

  • @ecsrvjh no she did that later!

  • @ecsrvjh she posed nude...what's the difference, T&A,nudity in a magazine???

  • I had the biggest crush on debbie when i was 8 lol...i used to wait for this song to come on the radio all day so I could record it

  • Is it just me or does this song make me think of valley girls at the mall whenever I hear it??

  • melhor música dela!!

  • She's so original.....

  • Debbie is the most talented singer/composer/songwriter out there... until Taylor Swift came along... 'bout time a whole new generation of talent is born. 2 decades of long wait is over!

  • Classic late 80s pop, takes me back to 2nd year at high school. Sisters boyfriend was abit of a dj and had the 12", boy I could'nt stop playing it along with Rocky IV. Great memories...

  • I absolutely love this song!

  • my favorite song from her.I still love it.Oh how it takes me back to 2nd grade, when life was simple and I would play with my barbies and kickball in the backyard.Haha

  • I love the days of Debbie and Tiffany in the late 80s. Still enjoy them both, actually. But their first few albums are my favorites. :)

  • What a voice! She's better performer even then Madonna.

  • Madonna is a dirty, lewd, nasty woman who grabs her crotch when performing on stage. She's offensive. But Debbie Gibson has class. Her performance is clean and much more entertaining. She's way sweeter than any other singers.

  • My Favorite Debbie Gibson song!!!

  • Debbie is better than Britney

  • I agree. Britney is offensive. She grabs her crotch and spreads her legs to air out her vagina when she performs on stage. You should see her videos. She's nasty. People can smell her stinky vagina in the back row..

  • i just love Debbie..i am still a baby during these times..still i love her songs..

  • Haha - yeah as another comment said, Britney Spears... BOW DOWN!!! Love Debbie... back when singers were actually talented :/

  • debbie is very talented better than Britney.

  • yeah right... debbie gison is very talented than five britneys..

  • I love Debra! She still hot.

  • ahhhh, takes me back to the days of middle school love!

  • Brings back so many good memories...

  • debbie ur so cute!!!!!! and talented!!!!!!!!!!

  • memories ..... hhhaaaayyyyyyy ..... sarapg maging teen ager uli .....

  • hehe

  • ... di ba talaga naman masarap maging teen ager uli ... gandang umaga

  • Wow I was like so in love with her as a teenager. Even now she still is awesome. I remember learning to play the guitar solo's when i was a kid. I would love to give that some lessons, Lol

  • Ahhh, this reminds me of being a teenager... Thanks for posting... We were so into the music back then, weren't we? I remember that tapes were so important to everybody back then!

  • Come back girl xx

  • wow this girl can sing live not like some artits today (ex)lady gaga

  • can't stop smiling!!!

  • She was a delight to watch on stage. I seen her in the Electric Tour. She was Fabulous!

  • Hi!Thanks for this clip! Brought back so mayn fond memories! I remember Debbie came to singapore for her concert N i was really lucky to get up close n personal with her!! Aww!Great song!!!

  • I remember being 10 years old, coming home from school, and my mom and dad suprising me with tickets to this show at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. I'll never forget all the girls with their black hats and denim!!! I wanted to grow up so bad!!! Still rock this album LOUD!!!!!!

  • dammn..... so many years without listen this song.. Thanx !!!!!

  • she was awesome she came to LONDON in 89 and she was awesome. and she brings all my happy college days back to me. the gretest days of my life LOL..... shame u didnt see her

  • which year is this concert ?

  • Is Debbie Gibson a descendant of Christ. See my channle for details.

  • help me to make it happen one more time

  • i think its time for here to make a one more time world tour especially here in manila philippines for the past few months alot of artist whos from the 80s era had concert here. i hope all fans of debbie will agree me and support this pettition to make it happen, i hope that debbie manager fans and manager read this pls spread this message

  • think its time for her to make a 1 more time concert tour especially here in the philippines. i hope that the fans club and debbie him self will read this. im sure it will be a hit one. for the past months mot of the 80s pop group had a concert here in philippines

  • lo maximo ..................................

  • how i wish, i have time machine. so than i can see debbie singing live back in 80s. i really adore this girl.

  • my sentiments exactly! What Debbie was during her age is a total rarity nowadays (i.e. singing, dancing, producing, playing instruments, and composing). She was self-made. By the way, did she have Val Kilmer as the guitarist? LOL. joking.

  • @cutify12 I´m wishing that too :)

  • Im a big debbie fan, have all the cds etc etc, but on this she looks like shes miming, it sounds too much like the album version, the singing, the insruments everything, god i hope am wrong, but i doubr i am.

  • THIS WAS LIVE. Rest assured the music here is nowhere near the recorded version - it's very obvious the arrangement is totally different.

  • I was in junior high when I started listening to her back in 86-87. She is still the BEST! Ive recently seen her in concert 3 times in west hollywood. I had a major moment when she sang this song. Love you Deb!

  • She's the BEST!!! She Rocked my PROM!!!

  • I'm 33 now and over the past week 've went back to the video tape and shes still the best...

    Prove us Debbie lovers wrong!!!!!

  • Debbie Gibson wrote her own songs, great vocals, plays the piano. pure talent at a tender age. Started singing before she was 8 years old. Used to listen to her on vinyl during the 80's. Talent and beauty combined. She did not appear nude on Playboy mag, it was Tiffany. She is much better than Britney, Cristina, Sakira, Miley, Vanessa, etc.

  • I agree, Deborah is one of the best women performers today, however she did do a playboy shoot a few years ago. It was a very nice shoot, not too dirty. And she is very good looking.

  • She did appear nude in Playboy in Feb 2005 at age 34 on her own terms. She doesn't show bottom frontal only breast and butt.

  • She did appear nude in Playboy in Feb 2005 at age 34 on her own terms. She doesn't show bottom frontal only breast and butt.

  • Oh WOW!! Man I can still remember when I saw her in Concert, at the Concord Pavillon California USA. She had some sort of a bad Cold Flu but she took it in stride sung her heart out. GREAT CONCERT! I'll always cherish the Memories. Thanks chikka1971 !!

  • I will admit it I am 30 years old and I still love this song and Debbie Gibson!

  • I think this set her off. She definately came "Out of the Blue!" =)

  • very nice!

  • i wish i was at that concert id know i loved it

  • Awesome!!!!

  • Oh the memories! I remember this concert was broadcasted in Peru back in the days when I was around 12 yrs. old. I've alaways like Debbie ever since, she was my 1st Teen Idol! This particular live version of "Out of The Blue" is better than the regular "studio" version from her album. I have this concert on VHS tape, and it's worth GOLD. I wish it was out on DVD!

  • I always loved this song....Gibson really shined in her hey days!! I would like to see Deborah make a come back! She sort of made one with Jordan Knight...but Deborah can do it on her own! All it takes is the right song and also possibly a really good producer such as Glenn Ballard ( the man behind Jagged Little Pill by Alanis )

  • she got high class.. yupe... she's better off than those newer pop star...

  • I really love this performance. It is great!!!

  • i just love debbie gibson...

  • a good performer is a great singer to a good performance right.luv ya gibb, hope we c it's other and meet,my idol.

  • The good ole days when concerts were really concerts and not some prefab joke like they are today. I saw her live twice. Once very early in here career. The Sea World show in central Florida was great. That was I think 1987. Maybe early 88. I remember one of the girls on her staff was badly sun burned. Good times.

  • pop candy

  • My sister loves her! hahaha...funny hair but good song

  • Better than Britney Spears by a long shot. One can only imagine if Debbie Gibson was Mrs Kevin Federline today. The Kids would be brought up properely and correctly and the Mum would be a good role model.

  • actually not exactly check out her "Shock Your Mama" video.

    ;-)

  • I don't think that she is trying to be sexy here, she is just being a teenager here, a real one not a teenage sex kitten.

  • I meant later on in her career she was trying to be a sex kitten.

  • Why was the studio version video removed from YouTube? All I can get are live versions of this song! :(

  • This was the original Teen Queen.
