Nice Ric brotha!!!! I have a 2009 4003 in Fireglo and a Paul McCartney 2009 4001c64s!!!!! I play only with flats on mine to get the smooth thump from the 60s and 70s!!!!! Nice job with a killer bass line from Elvis' bass player!!!!

Looks just like mine.. (mine is a 76)... I tried D'Addario XL semi flats.... light gauge..  you can get some really cool tones out of them..... nice job on the song

The basses volume was a little low, but still some good playing. Aslo are you sure that is a 4001? It looks more like a 4003.

@hofnerrick LMAO, well I am a full time recording engineer and am currently listening to this on about $10,000 worth of speakers so yea my ears are fine and I get paid good money for them. Your bass is low enough that it almost sounds like it is part of the song, turn it up and show off a bit :)

Who are these people? This is the second time I've seen someone jump in on one of your vids claiming they can't hear you. You're too convincing with how good you sound. Too perfect they think they can't hear you!! :) If they'd listen to the end when the song fades out and you're still playing they'd hear you then!! :)
