que nostalgia , essa musiquinha até me emociona... passava madrugadas jogando...! as vezes manipulava a prova, fechava todo mundo e deixava o Piquet passar e ganhar....rs
I'm just trying to spot what F1 2010 has over this title, so far I've come up with nothing. This 12 year old game is superior. At least it has split times ffs.
Now I know why Sega did Not send Me a tee shirt for winning at every track, You are smoother than Me but I always used the 7 speed plus I built a foot control pedal so the accelerator & brakes would be at My feet.
It is a fictious track used in the Super Monaco GP arcade game which had similar features to the real Moncao circuit. The Mega Drive version lacks the scenery of the arcade version.
@bduddy55555 the first track is the short circuit at suzuka, the second track is still suzuka but turning left before the crossover and going the wrong way around spoon curve and the hairpin before rejoining the finish straight. Not like monaco...
As in the arcade version, this track merge two different sections of the Suzuka's real-life track: the "S" section (on the bottom part) and the Hairpin section (on the top part).
This has to be my favourite game ever. I had a Mega Drive from the age of 4-9 and I have to say it was the best years of my life! I used to play this game religiously and I so wish I hadn't sold my Mega Drive all those years ago. I have since had a PS1 PS2 and XBOX 360 and I don't think this game will ever be beaten in terms of classicness and the fact that back in the day this was the best racing game around.
Once upon a time in Sweden, i were that good too, haha :) But I'm sure I'd crash in an instant if I tried it now. It came to my mind now when I saw the video, that you don't relly have to turn in the hair-pins. You just go with the flow in some way. Strange :) Great game anyhow. One of the best.
I thought that end of the tunnel the first thing we could see at that higher hill slightly on the right was a white cross statue , just like Christ the redeemer in Corcovado mountain. by the way, this track's background hills are extremely similar Rio De Janeiro's topography! =P
Yeh lol the sound FX were really wierd, still they were much better than some other racing games ive played on the megadrive (Mario andretti, Nigel mansell Newman Haas indycar etc)

I think if you hit the flag man, you get no points. I did that a lot when I was kid because I thought it was funny.

I don't think this is Monaco-it looks, to me, more like an attempt to make Suzuka without the crossover (which, of course, completely ruins it).

@bduddy55555 There's a more realistic monaco in the game when you do championship rather than arcade
