I really liked this era when Sting didn't wear his make-up and just had on the suit. Main Event Mafia was awesome, but the thing is...Foley should have ended up being a part of it. The '80's were great for the NWA/WCW and the mid '90's when Bischoff was in total creative control was the company's greatest period. On the Mick Foley DVD there's a WCW match between the two of them as a special feature. it's absolutely fantastic, two of my favourite wrestlers in one of the most underrated matches in history; at least in my opinion.

Actually, While HBK may make "millions" in the grand scheme of things after merchindice sales and what not, I'm not sure any wrestler today makes that much based on their contractual agreement. In addition, the JBL angle makes plenty of sense. When you get used to having a lifestyle based off having a certain amount of money and you don't have that amount to live off of anymore, you tend to find yourself in dire need of replacing those funds. It's a solid angle. Certainly better than TNA stuff.

@WrestlingAddict2009 No, it is a good thing. WCW was great until the AOL/Time Warner merger forced Ted Turner out of his own company. The '80's were great for the NWA/WCW and the mid '90's when Bischoff was in total creative control was the company's greatest period. If TNA can replicate that.....well, we all know how that went for WWF until that merger did take place.

1.7, 1.8? Sorry to disappoint but, TNA averages a 1.1-1.3 and so far for 2009 their highest rating has been a 1.3. TNA has NEVER reached a 1.7 level and if they dont change their product up, mainly talking about the creative team, they will NEVER reach that level.

Sorry to break it to you but if WWE was shit no one would watch it. TNA may be fun for YOU to watch, which is fine, but WWE still reigns supreme. WWEs reign will be done once TNA is considered competition for them and can actually beat them in ratings. For now, TNA has lots of work to do. If I were Dixie, I would find me a new creative team.

RAW, Superstars, ECW, Smackdown are all part of WWE and the draft gimmick that WWE puts out is to move the wrestlers in a circle. On the Mick Foley DVD there's a WCW match between the two of them as a special feature. it's absolutely fantastic, two of my favourite wrestlers in one of the most underrated matches in history; at least in my opinion.

Actually, While HBK may make "millions" in the grand scheme of things after merchindice sales and what not, I'm not sure any wrestler today makes that much based on their contractual agreement. In addition, the JBL angle makes plenty of sense. When you get used to having a lifestyle based off having a certain amount of money and you don't have that amount to live off of anymore, you tend to find yourself in dire need of replacing those funds. It's a solid angle. Certainly better than TNA stuff.

i havnot been waching tna for awhile so tuned in a few days ago and had to check the callender to make shure it wasnt 1996/7/8 and then checking to see if i was really waching TNA and not the old WCW for gods sake gang wars in 2009 it has been done to death and then been buried what tna need to do is come up with a few original ideas for example the WWE storyline with JBL/HBK has never been done before and relevent to today good to see old wwe faces still getting work hahahaha
