So the 2013 now has 350hp? Is it true that its also now available with the 8 speed gearbox? If so then the genesis coupe is a serious machine, I just hope hyundai eventually puts in that 430hp V8 in the coupe, I've read that its built to fit in it.

@MountainBeautyQueen I guess you compared the techs. rather than the cosmetics, we were planning on buying a 2011 model ( we never buy new ) but we decided to wait until the 2013's arrive.

I drove my friends 2012 two litre turbo,,very nice indeed but I like the thought of the bigger engine and of course the resale value with the six cylinder is much better.

I think this coupe is a tremendous car, well built, well finished and the best warranty, perhaps we will buy new ?

Yeah, I got the 2 liter and it's quick, but I don't get gas mileage like a 4 cylinder should. I've always been a V8 man and I got this to play around with but I got lazy. Won't have to mess with a 344 horsepower V6. It's hard enough not getting a ticket with 210. ;)

So why is GM touting its 323 hp V-6 when the Genesis gets 348 hp from its V-6? AND, I'll bet it also gets more mpg. I know! I know! GM's V-6 is a 3.6 ltr. V-6 while the Genesis's V-6 is 3.8. But its 3.8 produces more hp per litr. than the GM 3.6. Go figure...

@isukaman no sadly my brothers 2011 camaro v6 3.6L gets better gas mileage than my 2011 Genesis coupe v6 3.8L. so im prettry sure it will be the same with the 2012 camaros and the new 2013 genesis coupe. Atleast the genesis will get more POWA!!!!

@MegaBigFootBoner 25 more hp, ,2 liter more displacement, and at least 200 lbs lighter should enable the 2012 Genesis to "blow the doors off" the 2013 V-6 Camaro. Power burns gas. GM sells so many trucks and SUVs that it has to under power almost all its cars to comply with the CAF rules. And, the Camaro is too big and heavy,

This cars a beauty, im gonna try to get rid of my old car and possibly get this. This reminds me of the old acura type r and gsr brings back memories into this evolved machine 348 HP road monster.
