When I cut high skin fades or do any kinda fading at all I work top to bottom I don't like lines... if I ever make a line it's only the initial guide line

tru story konzern...i got the peanut ,5 star,and the styliners2..but its something bout those 5 star man...it make your line ups so sharp... when adjusted of course...i use the peanut on my 2 boys.But yeah don't use that mirror stuff use your eyes..tighten your screws slightly so you can move the blade around.Then move the blade up little by little to way where you want them .Then tighten them..Test them on your arm to see if they don't cut you ..and thats it

i use the wahl seniors for fading 2 man, nutin better in my opinion, andis are sharper but wahl seniors cut much smoother, and for edge ups, andis outliners are great, but andis styliner are best for the fade outline when gettin a close bald fade, however, watch out for the "wahl five star detailers" they give a nice crisp edge up and the "wahl balding clippers cut real smooth for a bald fade outline

The difference is that all of them have different features. the 76 are fast cuttin clippers with detachable blades. the andis masters are good to cut the top. the seniors are good for the fading because the motor is slightly slow but there still my personal favorites. the fast feeds are ok iguess.

@thewisejanitor the difference between andis master and andis fade master is fade masters cut alot shorter then the regular masters so fade masters are mainly for fades and tapers anything that has to do with fadeing but their the same clipper its just the blades are different so if you got regular masters just buy fade master blades hope this helped

thanks bro i think i got them as close as possible without the cutting blade being even with the guide blade. but the teeth on the outliners suck! u have to go over and over for the teeth to catch the hair. thats why i aways end up using the peanut

i adjusted them on a flat surface (a mirror to be exact) but for some reason they cut.

yeah thats not going to work.... if you adjust them on a flat surface the possibilities are that they will cut some one. you need to have a good eye in order to adjust them..... imight upload a video soon. just make sure thefront blade is not higher than the back blade.

@konzern05 you can adjust them on a flat surface but you have to tilt to an angle and make sure that when you check them, there is a hairlike thin gap between the guide blade and the cutting(moving) blade. Just enough to allow the hair to enter the guide blade first and then the cutting blade will make the cut. The gap is so small that you have to look from the side in good light to see it.

thats a nice fade but how do u get your outliners to cut so close is the blade adjusted and you just use slight pressure when doing the outline? i adjusted my blades and they cut so i moved them back slightly but now they dont cut that clean

well yeah adjust them to the point the blades dont cut the person. you can feel if theyll cut someone by touching the blabes. if the front blade is higher than the back one. than that will cut the person.
