So your right it is the same song but its a different part of the same song.

I don't know about training, but the differences I've noticed could have been changed in a studio or in a different performance.

They are too similar and Burton maybe wanted to put that in as a "musical easter egg". Its something that dates back to Depp in the Pirate movies.

Burton greatly admired Depp's skill, and this may have been intentional.

He killed his own wife, after wanting for 15 years to reunite with her. This could have been stopped if Ms.Lovett told the truth.

Trailers borrow music from other movies all the time as long as the music is already licensed through that production company. They do it because the trailers and teasers are usually put together WAY before the music is finalized and ASCAP/BMI'd in post production. The music is the last thing to be done in post because of all of the billions of re-editing that needs to be done. I have seen countless trailers that use music from other movies.
