Very good vid. Here's another simple question a child could ask. If God exists, why does he allow so much conflict by people killing each other over who loves him more? I can understand why he doesn't talk to me,...an atheist. But why does he allow so many misunderstandings between people who believe in him? If there were just one group of believers, then I'd probably be one of them. But since there are so many different denominations, a loving "God" would not take that lying down.

Unfortunately, scientists are, in general, well educated people. Well educated people, in general, do not believe in god. It's common sense. People who are religious tend to be either complete morons, or literate people without real intelligence, "booksmart" but without a capacity for logic. Exceptions are few.
That's where it differs. There are many intelligent people who do belive in God. Einstein might an ok example, but there are many scientists who do. Lee Strobel (not sure if a scientist) read the bible to proof it wrong, when he studied it and found it to be true.

There is actual evidence outside the bible of his existence. The question, then, is not wether he existed, but wether or not he truly possesed 'powers' and wether he truly was the son of an invisible deity that nobody has ever actually seen. Unfortunately, scientists are, in general, well educated people. Well educated people, in general, do not believe in god. It's common sense. People who are religious tend to be either complete morons, or literate people without real intelligence, "booksmart" but without a capacity for logic. Exceptions are few.

The founding fathers might have not been purely 'Christian' but they had some knowledge of a creator. Heck, "Endowed by Their Creator" is in the constitution. If I was 'endowed' by my parents, they could take away my rights--or any other man. Which is way the 'Creator' is capitalized.

There is actual evidence outside the bible of his existence. The question, then, is not wether he existed, but wether or not he truly possesed 'powers' and wether he truly was the son of an invisible deity that nobody has ever actually seen. Jesus' existence is unquestionable, god however, has yet to be proved real.

An Atheist utopia would be no different than a Christian utopia, except for that every function of society would be more practical for our present well-being, there would be no false hopes (for example, "God will heal this sick person if you pray enough"), anything and everything would be blamed on and credited to humans themselves, and, to say the least, there sure would be more unity!

How far back do I have to go for Mao's 65 million deaths, or Stalins 40 million deaths, or Kim Jon Il, or Fidel Castro? These Atheists all came AFTER the "Enlightenment."
