Most of Northern England is descended from Vikings and most of the South from Normans.
I doubt Norway or France would be more welcoming to an influx of non-"Ethnically British" people "returning to their ethnic homeland" than the BNP and it's braindead supporters are to those seen as non-"Ethnically British".
Except - "Ethnically British" just means "White" while leaving room to hate the Poles too... so this is all academic anyway.

How come Hong Kong taxes its poor 2% income tax and it's rich 15% income tax with no VAT, no sales tax and no capital gains tax while England taxes its poor for over half their wages with all the taxes combined?
Hong Kong has all the front-line services and is ranked highly in its economic freedom, financial and economic competitiveness, quality of life, corruption perception, Human Development Index, etc.
