Thanks! At the moment I am still enjoying this call sign, I have had it for 4 years and have got used to it.
I work in education and have got many qualifications so the radio hobby has to remain at the back of the que for the moment. I will hopefully get round to it one day! but for now I will be continuing to pass my skills and knowledge to my Engineering students as i get an even bigger buzz out of that! Especially when young people get on and do well.
Thanks for your two videos I saw, this one and the contact with WZ1Y. It shows how simple it is to have simple equipment and talk across the great pond. Maybe someday when I finish off my General Theory here, I can get some HF voice work and contact you even further inland here in the area of Kansas City, MO.
Hi KD7BJG i am always suprised how well my mobile station performs.Ive worked many DXCC on 20m mobile also had some good results on 40m using mono band maldol Antennas.

FT-100 is the best HF Rig I have ever used for mobile use. I have compared it to my other rigs - FT857, 890, 817 AND 747
