I was having a daddy and daughter lunch with my beautiful daughter and this song came on the radio; a explosion went off inside of me cause her message is so profound. This is exordinary; especially if you know the true spiritual hidden science. where all R.E.L.G.I.O.N....came from. People please seek the TRUTH!!! WAKE UP.
I still like the JLC version better, partly because the Osborne version sounds a lot like a soul song. There's a lot of influence there from black spirituals, and knowing how JLC is a Southern band that were drawing on blues influences when writing the song, I feel like Osborne emotes certain parts of the music beautifully while neglecting others. There's a certain wistfulness and delicacy missing from her rendition that I miss greatly. Different strokes, I guess!
Love the video and the song but PLEASE PLEASE WHY DIDNT SHE ADD MATT MORRIS TO HER TRACK?..what a tease on the talk show!!! i looked all over trying to download it
I understand that you may truely love this song as she has sung it.. but there will never be a band that can preform this as well as Jump Little Children... Sorry to disappoint , but this is in no way the way this song should be sung
You obviously feel very strongly about this. So I searched out the Jump Little Children version and, to be honest, was quite underwhelmed. That's what makes music and art what it is -- individual taste. To say "no way" to someone's vision of art well, it's just not very productive. Someone out there is waiting for the next Barry Manilow CD. Let 'em.
JLC version...way way way better. No contest. Sorry Osborne, but surely you would agree.
