50 gallon RES Turtle Topper Tank Setup

Hello I want to invest in a hood light for a 30 gallon tank how do i go about purchasing one while having a turtle topper?

How do you get the sea grass to stay on the bottom like that? My res seems to dig all my plants up. The only way I've been successfully keeping plants in the tank is by suction cupping them to the back walls.

so how often does your RES rearrange the tank? I've I'd mine since i was 6 (i'm 22 now) and she has become a terror. i still love her though, any advice?

What kind of water filter are you using? as in specifically which one, because i have a filter but it doesnt really do the job at all.

@83lolone i rinsed the off in a large bucket under really hot water for several minutes. Don't use any soap or chemicals because that stuff will get inside the tank

I had the same problem with my turtles. They would FREAK out haah thats Y I had to cover their topper with aquarium paper. I see you've done the same lol...Just sneak up very quietly when it is basking and get some video, easier said than done...lol
