  • Actually we have several spas in Dominican Republic, where we are doing the Facial Bar, and the results have been great!!!! In our country people used to only take care of their hair, so this have been a great way to introduce them to skin care, after they try the treatment they make appoiments for longer services in the facial rooms.

  • Dear Kathryn,

Hardly a capitalist approach. In fact, I was born in a communist country, Poland. Creating a facial bar has helped many salons provide express treatments for their clients. It's about healthy, clean and hydrated skin and not just about profits for Repechage. In fact, I just came back from Robert Andrew Salon-clients loved it! It's not replacing clinical 1 hour facials but adding new options. And I am proud of my contributions to skin care.

  • @SarkliRepechage I think that this is an AWESOME way to deliver great skin results to time compressed clients!

Its so sad that there are so many people that are both closed minded and stuck in the past with the mindset that the 'conventional facial' is the only way to do things!

The skin world is changing and evolving and those who refuse to evolve will be left behind!

Its great that you have taken that step to move on!!

  • I don't like this idea at all. Facials are about relaxation mainly. How can you relax being on display like this? This is solely about Repechage making more money. Obviously, you can't see as many clients when you do facials on a room to client ratio.. This is a sad commentary on a capitalist model.
