  • Does anyone know if footage exists of the whole choir when they appeared in Naples in 2002, at the San Carlo, in Humperdinck's Konigskinder? It was an award winning production and the boys were an essential part of it.

  • SING BEST OLMO HEREDIA

  • awesome d((♥_♥))b!!!!!!!

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love his voice and his face and his intensity. To me, it's the sort of voice that should sing the Woodbird. I mean this with the greatest respect, he reminds me of Anja Silja when she was very young.

  • incredible. What's he doing now?

  • Look not one black one in the bunch how un American is this lol

  • @stalag58 Ummm...it's German lol

  • Where can we here more from him, now that he is a tenor?

  • Anyone who knows the lyrics? :) would be fun! thanks.. Awesome singing btw! great boys

  • @QwertyNamnaM

    Here you are my dear:

"Hei! Siegfried gehört nun der Nibelungenhort! O, fänd in der Höhle den Hort er jetzt! Wollt er den Tarnhelm gewinnen, der taugt ihm zu wonniger Tat, doch wollt er den Ring sich erraten, der macht ihn zum Walter der Welt",

  • The balls of Robin S. dropped around November, 2005.

  • I think, though it is a little unfair to compare the 3 versions of this that are online, that this one is the best in terms of style and delivery. This is actually quite a hard excerpt and Robin delivers it with out breaking a sweat, and in a voice full of power and with great articulation.

Andi Morwald gives a slightly sweeter (and slightly out of tune) version, but is quite a bit younger than Robin, and Alex K just didn't have the same kind of "punch", though he was good as well.

  • he was the lead chorister of the choir!

  • what's his name?

    how old is he then?

and how old is he now?

    is his voice change now?

    thanks^^

  • @sharon841123 His name are Robin Schlotz. And he was a member of Tölzer Knabenchor. In Nov 2005 his vocie dropped and he is now a tenor.

  • @Zerlina12 really?...that`s sad O_O...why did his voice dropped?

  • @ daria996 : Han växer upp , kom han in i puberteten. Och när den happends alla pojkar vocies droppe. Som ni vet ;)

  • Awesome but that face at end tells something

  • Sorry for my rudeness in last reply, no i not mean gay. It looks like he could do it better.

  • Comment removed

  • you can't be gay when you're only 14.

it can still change, to follow the law of psychology

  • Comment removed

  • @MagicianofMilkyway : yes you can be that. But it have nothing to do with music.

  • He is smiling...

  • you can't read people's mind 100 percent accuratly by reading faces.

    A PSYCHIATRIST said that!

  • he is trying not to smile...

  • it's not possible to smile when you're concentrating on singing :P singing is kinda a tough work :P been there, did that...

  • Hi fans of Toelzer Knabenchor, am I allowed

    to invite you ?

    Please visit my channel..::)

  • He's wonderful

  • what's the name of this group?

  • Tölzer Knabenchor

  • @Zerlina12 how the hell do you get your comment so high up when you only said the two first words of the title ??? HOW ???

  • It's the traditional male costumes of Bavaria, and in this case it's also one of their 'uniform'. The other one is a black jumper&white shirt&black trousers combination which I think is more official and common used

  • lederhosen, duh.

  • I just asked a question!! the clothes seem a bit strange, that's all!!

  • he is amazing,.....i really need to meet this boy.....

  • ^What says the song???? Dying to know...

  • this small boy probably could not sing after 15

  • why are people thumbs downing that? It's tre, when he hits puberty, he's not going to be able to hit high notes anymore... T_T waaaahhhh

  • No he will not. But I supose he will be able to sing after his voicebreak when his vocie has sattle. Maybe he will be a tenor, baryton or a Bass. Maybe he will be something else. Maybee he will be the next great operasinger or hardrock singer or president. Nobody knows. But what we know is that he sang this song very well.

  • the latest news about this boy is that he returned to the choir this summer in a CD recording where he sing the tenor in the choir

  • well not really i can sing soprano and am 17 but that thing is that i cant sing alto

  • You have a point, he won't sing soprano anymore, but he wont lose his technique so after his voices breakes, he will be singins as a pro, just like Zerlina said: maybe bass, alto. Bot no soprano anymore.^^

  • He is a tenor now

  • really, where did you get that info? i've wondered howd he turn out when he got older.

  • How old is Robin now?

  • From what I read on Wikipedia Robin was born on 1992. I've also read that his voice dropped around Novembre, 2005.

  • oh, thanks!

  • De nada! ;)

  • haha! "snip snip" I loled at that! xDDDDDD

  • aww his smile at the end is so cute :]

  • Who is the big girl in the back? I always see her, but who is shee? Why is she never the soloist?

  • She is a he. Lars John is his name

  • ¿where did you get this video?

  • Simply astounding!

  • la vache c incroyable non mais vous avez entendu sa voix? ça existe pas un truc pareil !

  • Et ça existe même en CD (à vrai dire SACD)

  • A direct translation of the German is Voice of the Forest Bird.

  • what an angelic voice !!!

  • whats the name of thatr piece?

  • Eddy 438: Just to avoid misunderstandings, those outfits are not at all european tradition, and not even german tradition- they come from Bavaria, an area in the very south of Germany. That is where the choir is located.

  • Robin, ¿te casarías conmigo?

    Robin, ¿Would you marry me?

    Robin, heirate mich.

  • Hey Robin:

    ¿Would you marry me?

  • Robin's first steps towards Der Hoelle Rache...

  • Yes. The Forest Bird (Joan Sutherland sang it I think on the old Solti set.) from Siegfried.

The outfits are a European tradition. I believe the Vienna Choir Boys wear sailor suits usually.

  • why are they all wearing funny little outfits?

  • lederhosen ....its Bavarian

  • Yes it is

  • hey! isn't this from one of the Wagner "music dramas"??? from the Ring? either sigfried or the one after it???
