  • yeah, I would rather use a ladder trap, simpler and very effective, zero moving parts and requires no weight to work, just place, bait and wait for them to catch themselves.

  • Made it yourself? Didn't make it yourself? Whatever! It is dang cool. I like it a bunch and I only WISH I was a redneck instead of a Vegas boy! Gringo Homosexual? What's that guy's problem? Only fags say homosexual!!!!! Ü Now if only you could invent a fag trap. Would that be catch and release type deal? Git 'er done!!

  • i used to have a bird problem but they all took arrows to the knee

  • u got one for doves or pigeons?

  • can it work to catch meals for a falcon?

  • How much did it cost?

  • cool

  • My dad owns sparrowtraps(dot)net. I help him cut mesh sometimes. He is a bird kinda guy XD

  • @wrinklepus My dad is barack obama, nice to meet you. Bullshitter.

  • @Thendorien He is. I could make a video showing his everyday job in his garage. Me and my friends are going to help him so we can get an xbox 360

  • so you guys are dis'ing this kid because he is helping eliminate an invasive species and has a badass trap? your all real cool. and whats wrong with being a "redneck"?

  • looks like something i can shit out why would you pay 70 bucks

  • Redneck

  • @BADLEMONOFFICALPAGE yeah what about it. are you so stupid that u have to comment on my video to reassure yourself that we are all rednecks. Sounds like you have a personal problem.

  • @shooterdude12 Forget them man.. Im a redneck and I make 10x what Badlemon makes in a week for being a redneck trapper.. Great video!!

  • @HowlingCoyoteWS I can build this trap for you for about 20 bucks cheaper.

  • @BADLEMONOFFICALPAGE Gringo homosexual!

  • All u guys are rednecks

  • for 25 $ you can get a BB gun that will take care of them lol.

  • This looks awesome.my grandpa has a lot of sparrows in his barn.so I think I am going to buy one and relocate some troubling sparrows

  • i could make that easy

  • man how you do that thing that goes down??? pls

  • @thenashus4~HAHA!

  • @shooterdude12 i have one like that but its not working is there any type of food or where to put it thanx

  • that's cool!

  • obama will love it...lol

  • hey man, thats quite godd. youve given me a shit load of ideas.

  • This trap could be a lot more simpler.

  • @Forkinback1 how? it is extremely simple. just a counter waited door that drops down. I think you are confusing good craftsmanship with complication.

  • @Forkinback1 Yeah... Not really.. This is VERY simple and extremely effective..

  • where do you live at just the city

  • Sparrows taste nice, if you catch starlings... kill them

  • you can now buy for 50 bucks now

  • House Sparrows are an invasive non-native species. They are very damaging to native songbirds such as bluebirds. They will take over bluebird nests and kill the babies as well as the parent bluebirds. It is completely legal to humanely euthanize them

  • I also bought this trap from a friend. It worked great the first couple of sparrows but... after a while the sparrows would go into elevator and immediately back off and fly way as soon as they feel the elevator give a little... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

  • How does the sparrow go thru bottom hole into holding cage if it is covered with fencing? Nice trap!!

  • you should kill them thay will only come back

  • XP I really hate killing stuff =;(

  • Oh. Ok. So you just try to get them away? Cool. I'm glad to see a dude who doesn't enjoy killing stuff o_o'

  • I do enjoy shooing wild pest rats and mice with my air rifles. It is kind of a hobby of mine.

  • @shooterdude12 thats a good hobby

  • Oh.. OK... Awkward then... What DO you do?

  • I release them miles away from my house... BWA HA HA!!!!! And then they beat me back home.

  • Cool trap... I think I'll buy one. I'm the kind of person who catches, studies, and releases birds. Thanks for posting this!

  • I do to that is for the native birds. The invasive starlings jays and house sparrows get a special treatment.

  • (o)_(O) What do you mean? You don't kill them do you? =;(

  • no i dont

  • Looks nice and effective.. but what do you do with the birds you catch?

  • I release them away from where I live.

  • nice trap

  • perfect! this is the kinda trap i'm looking for to catch multiple birds at any given time. except i wont be retrieving them after they're caught, I'd be pouring gasoline on them and setting all of em on FIRE!!!.. just having some problem with some birds here waking me every fuckin' morning. now if only you were closer so i could purchase one of theze traps from you..... you do shipping??

  • Please read the video description to find out where i bought the trap. Thanks

  • Oh my God! I should hope you're kidding, Immaculite! Bird songs are beautiful! Of course, where I live you get used to it, but you must've lived somewhere without small birds for a long time to say something about birds that cruel!

  • Actually I've lived around birds all my life but it's these fuckin nigga birds that comes by the flock, well they use to come by the flock every morning and wake my ass up in the yard. since i made that comment most have DIED well KILLED iz the more appropriate word! and those that didn't seems to be "smart" enough not to come back here.

  • Sparrows are very good at survival. The can breed four times a year, so their numbers are a problem for native birds. Plus as you said, they take over nesting areas.

If only they ate bugs, I would like sparrows more. The adults don't eat bugs, only the juveniles.

You have a great trap my friend. Good design.

  • Thanks

  • thats a nice trap

  • nice!

  • Youtuber 'Tstormer' was filming baby tree swallows last year and sparrows killed all of them:(

It's too bad sparrows can be so nasty! I can totally understand the need to trap them! Very cool trap and I like how you presented it. What do you do with the sparrrows once you catch them?

  • I release them because i am not allowed to dispatch them.

  • good trap
