  • as long as there's life, there's hope for one more chance.........

  • randy can sing very good this is my 2nd favorite jackson song

  • seriously crappy with his voice but janet' version is so sexy.

  • loved this song...still do...

  • great song. best part? the faintest sounds of the King of Pop towards the end harmony.

  • Comment removed

  • This is a beautiful song. I love it so much. Thank you for posting.

  • Seems to me like randy was a bit underratted, as a singer and a writter. Mike was clearly the king but its a shame the rest of the brothas didnt get the shine they deserved. Good song tho, shout out to the jacksons.

  • WHY WHY WHY!? did such music have to go..the 70s and 80s were amazing..until rap hit big around the corner in the late 80s going into the 90s..where al that macho crap was reintroduced again..

I miss the early 80s so much...it's so sad to be a part of today's teenage generation..

  • all the members of the band were underrated except Mike

  • @body5436 Randy did the demos for songs from off the wall: the percussions for don't stop and working day and night... his gave those songs that bounce and made it special...i wished mj would of worked more with randy... he was a dope producer as you can hear on this...

  • this is my first time hearing this i love it already

  • It's funny...

Randy and the Jackson brothers made this song for their 1984 album, Victory...

Janet Jackson did a cover of the same song as the B-side to her 1993 hit single, "If"...

And Michael Jackson's last ever single (while living) was called "One More Chance", released on his 2003 album, Number Ones...

I think the Jacksons were very in-sync with each other.

  • @warriorkoala there's one more "Chance" song on the ABC LP. the start of the so called 'chance' legacy. Good timeline though, W.

  • Click version lol!

  • i like this song.. randy really can sing... he has his own flavor.. i also like the song i love you hunny. he's good with playing the santizizer.. sorry if i spelled it wrong..

  • yes micheal singing background, the jacksons have perfect harmony.

  • randy look gay or efiminate.

  • one of my favorite songs by randy. I see this song like him singing in the desert standing on a high cliff over looking the sun.

  • CLASSIC JACKSONS .

  • best song ever, always singing it.......esp. 4 min mark

  • This such a pretty song! I can't believe I've never heard it, I love it!

  • he was da most talented far as doing various things writing playn instruments singn

  • yes i love you michael and only you <3

  • Randy is so good looking in his early twenties

  • I LOVE THIS SONG- IT IS SEXY AND SMOOTH! LOVE IT!

  • this song is like so awesome!

  • 1. michael

    2. jermaine/ randy

    3. tito/ marlon/ jackie

  • This was my favorite song on the Victory Album!

  • Did Randy write this song and Janet re-recorded by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. He definitely sounds great.

  • randy was underrated

    shame he was good

    wish him all the best

    but never to late

  • @peace2hearts you're right he should receive more credit than what he was given

  • @dalhousa1 good 80s song. i still listen to it. dont make songs like this anymore.

  • @veeseee128 i agree or at least they're harder to find now.

  • @peace2hearts I AGREE WITH YOU- THIS SONG DEMONSTRATES THAT THE MAN CAN SING!

  • @peace2hearts agree....I used to listen to this alot back in the 80s......

  • Randy was so handsome. What does Randy do for a living now?

  • @checkers1245 he doesnt do anything, all the rest of the jacksons live of michael's money apart from janet for obvious reasons

  • Yes Randy does...sound like a cross between Micheal and Jermaine! Janet has a version of this song, of course after Randy did it!

  • This song is so beautiful.

  • One of the best songs in the summer of 1984

  • Of course I meant to say that this Randy Jackson is not from American Idol, darn typo.

  • I am amazed that people don't seem to realize that there was actually things going on before American Idol and that this is Randy Jackson, brother of Micheal, Jermaine, etc and that the Randy on American Idol is a different man with the same name. This Randy J is the person singing this song and he is from American Idol.

Great song, I have the victory Album by the Jacksons from, I think around 1983 or 1984 , and this is my favorite on the album.

  • I feel as if noone is on my level.if u r...holla at me.

  • I have a question, please. Is also Michael Jackson in the background?

  • @LinkEasier i'm not sure.you can't really hear his voice if he his.

  • @LinkEasier The song is off of the Jacksons Victory, so background vocals was provided by all the brothers including Michael

  • @LinkEasier well i can hear mike, jackie, and marlon

  • @LinkEasier if you listen closely you can discern Michael's voice on backing vocals during the chorus.

  • @LinkEasier All of the Jackson brothers are in the background. Info found inside CD/ album liner notes. Ciao!

  • could you send me this song??? pleaseeeeeeee??? there is no way or place i could find it... :/ thank you! :D

  • искал именно этот One More Chance и наконец нашел -спасибо!!!!!

  • Janet sang this song too :)

  • randy was underrated idont know why ,bad marketing manager or what

    this song is nice

    maximum respect

  • i love everything the jacksons do thats a true fan

  • love it he song like one of the jacksons

  • Wow I had the Victory album when I was 12 years old. All I can say is memories.

  • randy remindes me of my self coz we too were good looking in our youth but turn up bold later age the diffrence he can sing lol

    me deffinitley not

  • When I first listened to the complete album in 1986, I had to get used to the new electronic sound it had...Unlike the glorious albums before, they have a more organic feeling. IT was a new decade and synths were the new thing. The guys from Toto probably had a lot to do with that also. It was the first album I bought BTW.

  • Some of the songs get you right away, like the "rocky" and sunny "Wait" sung by Jacky. He shows that he can carry a tune also. The adlibs by michael at the end of it are wonderful and strong. They make the song even better!

  • Michaels ballad is one that grew on me too. But it's no human nature! Now, state of shock just gets you right away! Body is an ok song but too long at the end!

As I said in the title, it is a good album if you accept the new style of music on it. 8 out of 10 stars! End of review..

  • Torture, almost pure rock is great and nasty sounding! I think back then it was the first single. I like The Hurt because Randy, i think. is whailing full throttle about his heartbreak. A better singer and a more rich arrangement would make it a better song. He sings much better on the heavy electronics ballad "One More Chance. A song that grew on me over the years.

So did Tito's We can change the world. The arrangement is much better and richer than The Hurt's.

  • Oh boy.where is my youth

  • Bought this song at a record store in Kansas City downtown ,well the album, and I bought it for any song I had heard but that One. Fell in love with it. Its my favorite song on the album. Been playing it periodically all those years.

  • Randy Jackson would look so much like Micheal Jackson during the victory era. it was like they were twins. its between Marlon and randy that looks the most like Micheal. the face structure is the same

  • Randy sounds like a cross between Jermaine and Michael.

  • @kristineurie44 i think he sounds like jackie at times.

  • @dalhousa1 i guess so too. I dont really remember what Jackie sounds like, but i know he had a falsetto like Michael.

  • @kristineurie44: YEah, I'd say I agree with that... he's got a bit of mike's falsetto with a bit of jermaine's bassy voice

  • @kristineurie44 Now see I think he sounds like a cross between Jermaine and Marlon.

  • LOL

Jackson 5 - ABC - One More Chance

The Jacksons - Victory - One More Chance

Michael Jackson - Number Ones - One More Chance :D:D:D

  • @blagyvux also janet too when she covered this song.

  • @dalhousa1

    Oh you have truth! :D

  • love love love Randy!!

  • Randy had such a nice voice ♥

  • I WISH IT HAD A VIDEO CLIP

  • HOLY WOW! I haven't heard this song since I was 10 years old! I'm now 27 and as of this writing, this is the first time since 1993 (When I was 10) that I actually heard this. The last time I heard it was when I going home from St. Mary's of Providence after school on a Taxi in Chicago

. I never heard this song again until finding it again with Janet Jackson doing her own version. Then I found this at last! Thank you for posting this classic. :D

  • @distantsiren no problem.

  • I HAVE THE VINYL ALBUM. THIS IS baby brother Randy singing lead. Jermaine was back in the group at this time. I played this song so much back then on my stereo. I LOVE THE JACKSONS SO MUCH. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY. RIP MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON. SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE!

  • @NICOLEMJJ this is by the jacksons and randy is the one singing the lead on this one.

  • Randy is very underrated... this is a brilliant song

  • No, it's not. Two different guys.

  • sorry, not to offend anybody, but is this the guy that judges american idol? cuz i'm really confused!

  • @frenchieandproud haha no no, the guy on american idol is not the same at all

  • u retard i never new the guy from american idol is a "jackson"

  • y r u calling me a retard, and then saying u never knew that? now i know its not true, but other people were, so i was just asking a question!

  • @frenchieandproud I dont no who call u a name but I understand where u are. Young people on here could easily think a person is talking about the american Idol randy Jackson

  • no no no. lol. its a different randy jackson! ^-^. i was confused too, when i first thought of that.

  • One of my all time fav jams..Randy did this for real...This was during the Victory period and Jermaine was back with the group in 84.On this particular album each brother sang lead and produced their own song as well as collective efforts on the album..Years later that sweet Janet remade it...Jacksons 4 life

  • Randy is gorgeous. lol. Great songggg

  • This was Randy ya'll fake jackson fans, get your brothers right. By far this was my favorite Randy song, he did the damn thing. The real Randy Jackson not that un talented one on american idol which stole his job lol

  • One of my all time favorite songs! Should've been released as a single

  • @ksharif722 my bad i ment to hit the thumbs up!

  • @ksharif722 yes it shoulve been released as a single...i agree.......i luv this song!!

  • fake fans shouldn't be allowed to post! Randy Jackson sang lead on this song!

  • So beautiful and ethereal... I love this song.

  • oh geez..why'd randy get that nose job?? he's still fine with or without.

  • ts is randy not jermaine.

  • Jermaine sang this...not Randy:) Such a beautiful song!! It didn't get much airplay:(

  • this was sung by randy

  • This is Randy

  • Uhhh Jermaine sang this...not Randy:)

  • Jermaine KILLED it on this song!!! Love it!!!

  • This was Randy Jermaine was not a apart of the group at this time

  • jermaine was back with his brothers during this album.he came back when they released the victory album.

  • I don't know why this song wasn't a hit. It was great.

  • love this song and wonder why it didn't get a lot of air play

  • He was 3 cutest then!!

  • Pretty cool song * * * * *. The Jacksons for ever.

  • Randy was really fine looking back in the 80's!!

  • wait a sec! is randy micheal's brother!?!? i didnt no that! is he younger, cuz i thot micheal was da youngest outa da boys.

  • yes randy is michael's brother

  • wow yes randy is the youngest boy

  • No he's not, Randy is 3 years younger than Michael, him and Michael looked somewhat alike when they were younger...

There would've been 7 boys, but Marlon's twin died..Randy is sexy!!Not that old' crusty looking Randy Jackson on American Idol...He creeps me out!

Michael's next to the yonugest boy..then It's Janet and the lovechild, Joh'Vonnie.

Michaels' the 7th, but If you want to put it this way, he's the 8th if you wanna add Marlon's deceased twin

Only if I was born back then

  • randy looks like mj omg he is hot

  • I used to love this song!!! Thanks for sharing. Its so good to know I wasn't the only Jacksonite back in the day!!

  • I still think Randy should have taken over as co-lead singer when they were doing Triumph and not Marlon.

  • they chose marlon coz his voice was nearest to Michaels... randys is too low. if u listen to marlins vocals on 'body' ull see that he sounds and says his words like Michael. and they wanted MJs sound if Mj wudnt sing anymore with them lol

  • from jackson fan to jackson fan, i have to say that marlon's voice is not near michael's. marlon sings deep!!!! listen to a good number of jackson songz and you will hear that he is low. for example, listen to "i am love" by the jacksons. when you hear that yell, that is marlon

  • That's Jermaine..but Marlon and Jermaine sound alike..Though Marlon voice is a tad bit more screechier and sounds like Michael when it wants to..Its sorta weird!

  • Hm...wait a minute. If you go by Triumph Jackie was the one who sang most lead after Michael since he took care of most of "Wondering who". Randy shared lead with MJ on Can you feel it and Marlon sang co-lead on Give it up, meaning Marlon and Randy equally much.

  • I don't think so..Randy couldn't do as much because he JUST recovered from a bad car accident..Marlon can sing, he sounds like a smaller more screechier voice of Jermaine, its sexy!

I love all the brothers..But, Randy is just put out there because of his..OMG his everythingg!!!

  • hey Randy had an accident??when?? lease tell me soon

  • it was back in the early 80s i believe when it happened.

  • No it was when like Off the wall came out..in 1981 he rejoined with his brothers and made a great comeback..It was all in the ebony or jet magazine back in the days..

  • i knew he had an accident but wasn't sure what year it was.

  • Oh..Ok..I'm SO glad he's with us..

  • yeah we all are.

  • I mean..Why?..Why? Does he have to be so friggin sexy?..He makes me wanna go back in time and follow him everywhere..Lemme stop lolz..

  • can't answer that because i'm a guy.

  • Ok...I gotcha lolz..Uhm..Watch a video called Jermaine Jackson by: lilbush98....That's me! lolz.

  • YEAAAH!!AT THE TIME....SO SEXY!! but today too ;)and i think he is so sweet :**

  • @lilbush98 I know exactly how u feel hun haha..I wish I was 15 in 1980 instead of 2009 lol!...Mike,Randy & Marlon were the sexiest out of the Jackson brothers!...Michael being the sexiest of course! ;) xxxxxxxxx

  • 4realz.:)XD!

  • Yeah I believe the car accident if I recall was in 1980 and he was really bad off but amazingly the following year was back to his full strength to tour for Triumph!

  • He was in a bad car accident in 1979..he was about 18 years of age..I believe he had a high-speed car and the accident tore him up..He was paralyzed, I don't know where though..Umm its just a miracle that he's with us and his family today..He had to stay active..That's why he was so muscular. He had to stay active or else his legs were gonna go out on him..and then he would seriously be paralyzed..I'm glad he's with us..He's so sexy!

  • I have always liked this song by Randy. I think he and Jermaine sound a lot alike none of them,,even Janet sing as well as Michael.

But I didn't want to sleep with Michael..Janet is so sexy she would have to call 911 to get me off her.

  • wow calm down man just jk thats how i feel when it comes to michael.

  • This song is from The Jacksons album in 1984 titled ''Victory''. Randy Jackson sounds great as lead vocal on this song.

  • Another Jackson we missed! Are they all this talented?

  • hell yeah they are!!! but they all have diferent styles and shit

  • I loved this jam this song made me relax

  • love this song brilliant.......

  • they were all talented. Im shocked! this is randy

  • This song was on an album compilation called 'Nightflight' (in the UK). Loved it then...sounds gr8!

  • WOW HE CAN SING

  • I think Phil collins covered this

  • Phil Collins' song was "One More Night"

  • @peskied Hahaha, I own that one too, on 12 inch! They sort of got the same flow now that you mention it! I play both songs regularly, I never got rid of my record player, its cool to hear these songs as I did back in the day!

  • similar but different

  • That was a different song, called "One More Night".

  • Yes, this is Randy doing the lead vocals on this great song.

Also, Jermaine plays a mean guitar. Right now, I am listening to Jermaine sing his song, Dynamite. A lot of talent resides in this family!

  • yes this was a great song randy had a solo album with a group he lead called randy and the gypsies the album was fantastic i wish the lable pushed it more he had a song called , love we almost had that was timeless i still listen to it till this day!

  • jackson , janet and michael all have different songs ca;;ed "one more chance".

  • Also One More Chance on ABC album

  • that's what i meant janet covered the jackson's vicory '"one more chance". i meant jacksons 5 , jacksons and michael. i can't beleive there wasn't singles like "wait/; and "we can change hte world"..it shoujld've been the biggest album of 1984 , better than true blue or purple rain and they were gr8.

  • Them Gypsys are as big as the Jacksons!

  • was michael singing on this track too???

  • it was just randy on the solo with the brothers in the background.

  • Great song. Who wrote it?

  • the song was written by randy.

  • Thank You.

  • giving credit where credit is due

  • this is my jam good job Randy ,I wore out the cassette listening to this song

  • god i loved this song. randy, jermaine and marlon were some of the hottest brothers in music back then...

  • Jermaine and Michael didn't sing on this song, it was only Jackie, Marlon and Tito doing background vocals

  • ...its far from over

    4ever

  • Damn right
