@lala29661 Because you're not the only people on the planet. The activities you're talking about are noisy, and cause damage to lands that other citizens have a stake in. Just because the lands are 'public' doesn't mean you can do whatever the hell you want on them. In fact, it's BECAUSE the lands are public that you can't- every other citizen has a say in how those lands are used, and many of us want to be able to enjoy them without hearing the buzzing of your engine.

Grant County, Oregon passed a LAW called, The Sagebrush Rebellion Act LAW making it a UN FREE ZONE. It is still in place. No Entity is legally allowed that in any way is sponsored, affiliated, funded, represented, or a member of the United Nations is Welcome or Allowed in Grant County, Oregon.

Furthermore, the Sheriff of any United States County is the ULTIMATE Authority of that US County and has the say so and control of whether or not any Federal entity is even allowed entry .

I tried to go to Olive Lake and hike last year, and the USFS blocked me from going in there for no reason at all.

@YouGotEnoughFreebies did USFS block you from hiking or from getting to olive lake? noticed that the 10 road has roadblock sign (was told "culvert work"), but was able to go over the 1010, so not sure where the "culvert work' is going on right now. last year my brother got to olive lake via 1010 to the 10, etc, because of the same thing -- "culvert work" on the 10 road. also had run-ins with a WHOLE LOT of law enforcement during archery season last year and got harassed by feds in camp...

posse comitatus; sage brush rebellion redux. USFS charged with managing the federal land -- they are just doing their job. Try riding your ATV on any of those big ranches in Grant County. Ha, good luck. But, they are federal lands...not county lands...so more people have a say on those lands than the local folks. Not sure what the Declaration of Independence has do do with an agreement to patrol certain federal lands. I guess it is clear to Mr. Palmer, however.

Each time we give in to Federal agencies we are giving them a 'slice' of our liberty, and it is to the point that they almost have the whole loaf! Thank you Sheriff Palmer for the courageous line in the sand, I know you haven't chosen an easy road, but it is the right road.

Thanks to all involved with making this video and to Joyce and the good Sheriff Palmer. Living in Rhode Island, I have been trying to raise awareness on this subject. We have already lost our Sheriffs to appointment and the AFL/CIO and Council 94 Unions. We live literally in a Police State. HELP US GOD!
