The QUALITY & QUALIFICATION of the Judges are Questionable. The gal absolutely fantastic. I am a fan of Lata ji, yet i can say now- Lata ji should retire, we can spare Lata ji if there is a singer like this one.

I understand that the discussion initially was about lots. Other contestants were given 3 options, but the 'judge' [from where they got this fellow] did not allow it. The lady argued, and then Anwesha sings--she melts the heart with her beautiful voice, sweet song. But, the judges are not satisfied LOL!! Stupid judges--what do they know? She is a global talent, a genius and these regional artists to judge her? Anwesha shouldn't have participated in competitions. ANWESHA STOP COMPETITING!!!
I think you have not understood the exchange fully. She picked up Salil Chowdhury's name. And the judge asked her to sing a Sabita Chowdhury song of Salil Chowdhury. She expressed her unpreparedness and was asked to sing a Lataji song. By the way, the judge is Bikram Ghosh - a classical tabla player of international repute who regularly accompanies Pandit Ravishankar. Another judge is Ustad Rashid Khan - a legend in classical vocal music. To describe them as regional artistes denotes ignorance.
