  • sounds like daft punk lol

  • The genius of Bach and Moog united! Beautifully played by a skilled synthesis artist. What more can we ask for ?

    2 Thumbs-up !

  • @AlainHubert -Thanks a lot for this warm comment!

  • @fystasjoppheng

    You're very welcome.

  • the pedal is a chorus?

  • @Nicolap94 -Yes its a Boss CE-2. I use it for my Rhodes.

  • This is great!

  • woww.....thank you !!!!

  • @cristianoelectone I,m glad you like it!!

  • I think Johann Sebastian Bach would like this version ...

  • @arpeggiator2009 -Thanks! I hope he would.

  • Hey! Beautiful and inspiring playing on the Moog - keep making new ones!

  • @b3legene -Thank you so much!

  • Wow that was fast. Were you in hurry while recording this? I think this piece could benefit from your ability to tweak delay and release times on a synthesizer. Think something in the spirit of Jean-Michel Jarre's Magnetic Fields #1 or Overture.

  • @Necrosturbator - I like this tempo, thats all. Decay and relese is not always good for fast playing.

  • wow! love this one!

  • @str3123 -Thanks a lot!

  • nice, man :) you should rerecord and add a drumbeat :D

  • @AndreasSWF Yes that could be nice, perhaps next time.

  • @AndreasSWF Please... No drum beat. That would ruin all the sound....

  • Is ther any possible way I could get a notation of this version of the prelude? The monophonic touch creates such a crazy feel to it.

  • ATTN people complaining of price:

Moog are the Lexus of synthsisers; they are made with the finest ingredients and will mostly likely outlast their human owners in lifespan - of course they're expensive. You need to be absolutely serious and committed before purchasing something like this.

Start with a Casio SK-1, once you write a whole album on that, get a Voyager.

Great vids fystasjoppheng, much pleasure. I would love you see you take us through the raw filters of this machine. Cheers.

  • @SixOneCynic

You are right-the Moog are the Lexus of synths.

A filterdemo will come sooner or later.

  • I love it. You're very talented. Are there many presets that sound as groovy as that one?

  • @oppyh

Hi! My Voyager have 128 presets, but this sound was create by myselph.

Thats one of the things I like with the Voyager-you can shape the sound as you want and store it, or select a preset(your own or from the moog factory)

  • Ah, that's cool! Great!

  • @sejra Thank you, you are very kind!

  • amazing....it's like a "clockwork orange" sound!!!

    greets from Italy

  • @magro81 -Thanks!

  • squish squish squish

  • @Tyros3Peter

    Thank you so much Peter!

  • WELL DONE...

  • This is the music that you hear when you fall into a black hole.

  • Yes!

Now, if you watch my Minimoog Voyager-2, thats how it sounds when you are coming out of that black hole

    (if possible).

  • Cool! =)

  • this is awesome, great job!

  • Perfect!!*****

  • Just wonderful

    Thank you

  • Superb!

  • I can't believe it's been a year now... The Floyd have been such a big part of my life for quite a few years and it's very sad to live in a world without him... He truly was a master.

Great video by the way - sounds lovely.

  • nice harmonie and synch...well done ..

  • gud spelinng

  • wont change the sound

  • The analog synthesizer is very fascinating!

  • lightnin' fast fingers! I love it.

  • Bach and Moog go so well together.

    Fantastic job.

I commend your keyboard skills man. What book must I learn to achieve the chops you have lol?

  • FANTASTICO!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you very much!

  • Woah

    almost sounds like a polysynth

    awesome playing.

  • Let me just say this...

Life doesn't get any better than a Moog and a Rhodes.

    Eric

  • Yes I think Moog and Rhodes is made for each other!

    Kjell

  • Scaring, but wonderful...

  • Great stuff! (Nice piece!)

  • Absolutely fantastic!

  • Thank you very much!

  • this is uber nice, but how did u play so fast???

  • Thank you!

Do you mean why or how to play fast?

I like this Bach piece to be fast and practice it by making notegroup of all the chords in this piece then its more easy to play it fast.

You can also make rythm variations and accent to intergrate it in fingers and brain.

I belive it is many ways, but this works for me.

  • That was gorgeous. Great job.

  • wow...great job!!!!congratulations!!!

  • Thank you very much!

  • ........and now on BBC1 it's time for Science Workshop

  • How about SE1X ?

  • Bach ... Good version !!!

  • Thanks!

  • i see... see, i really liek the electric blue voyager, but its really expensive now!

  • how much did your moog cost?

  • WHERE CAN I GET ONE OF THESE!?!?!?!??!?!??!?!??!! seriously these things are so cool

  • Have you try moogmusic?

  • Fantastisk!

    Deilig utstyr også :)

  • Takk for det! Kjekt med norske kommentarer også.

  • This sounds so much lovelier than the little phatty

  • No complaints about the LP, it is absolutely brilliant, especially the price/performance ratio

  • Dæven da er du heldig hvis du har en voyager og et rhodes piano :(

    Brukte ikke supertramp mye rhodes?

  • Er du norsk? Og i så fall, hvilken BOSS-pedal ligger ved siden av?

    - Nordmann :=)

  • Hei! Det er en Boss ce 2 chorus som jeg bruker til Rhodes pianoet. (Jeg er 100% norsk)

  • Greetings,

What is the name of this piece. Nice playing.

    rtmx

  • Kleine preludium BWV 999

    Thanks.

  • great performance - do you perhaps have the sheet music for this piece?

  • It's interesting to see who the people are who comment on my synth videos. Finally, somebody who can actually play their synth. Quite well done. You need a polyphonic synth to go with your Voyager though.

  • Thank you, thats nice to hear! Your absolutly right about the polyphonic synt. I have just bought a polysix for this and hope to make a video soon.

  • you have a good attitude! make your next video all synthbass, thank you:)

  • dude you are a human sequencer! I wish I could play that evenly, amazing!

  • You play the moog very very well! great sound also. Thanks for your post.

  • Thank you for your nice comments I,m glad you like it.

    Kjell

  • Great! You inspired me to play Bach on my Minimoog Model D. Thanks!

  • look forward to it - i'm a big fan of bach on synth - i'll watch this site - the moog is an incredible instrument - get the best sound you can get from it. I mean, try to be better than Carlos (if you can).

  • Aw come on, this is less interesting than Switched on Bach. You sure can do do something more innovative, can't you?

  • very good playing, and nice moog, where'd you get it from and for how much?

  • can you get the performer edition without the backlit mod wheels

  • ok.i love classical music too but i love the way bernie worrell of parliament funkadelic uses minimoog in a funky jazzy way ;)

  • great.i love good music and minimoog voyager too !!!try play something jazzy please it would be very interesting with this great synth.

  • Thank you SoulbassJr. I,m almost finished building a modular synthesizer wich I would like to put on youtube. My background is classical, but I would like to try some jazz improvisation on the moog later ok?
