Wow that was fast. Were you in hurry while recording this? I think this piece could benefit from your ability to tweak delay and release times on a synthesizer. Think something in the spirit of Jean-Michel Jarre's Magnetic Fields #1 or Overture.
Moog are the Lexus of synthsisers; they are made with the finest ingredients and will mostly likely outlast their human owners in lifespan - of course they're expensive. You need to be absolutely serious and committed before purchasing something like this.
Start with a Casio SK-1, once you write a whole album on that, get a Voyager.
Great vids fystasjoppheng, much pleasure. I would love you see you take us through the raw filters of this machine. Cheers.
Hi! My Voyager have 128 presets, but this sound was create by myselph.
Thats one of the things I like with the Voyager-you can shape the sound as you want and store it, or select a preset(your own or from the moog factory)
I can't believe it's been a year now... The Floyd have been such a big part of my life for quite a few years and it's very sad to live in a world without him... He truly was a master.
It's interesting to see who the people are who comment on my synth videos. Finally, somebody who can actually play their synth. Quite well done. You need a polyphonic synth to go with your Voyager though.
look forward to it - i'm a big fan of bach on synth - i'll watch this site - the moog is an incredible instrument - get the best sound you can get from it. I mean, try to be better than Carlos (if you can).
Thank you SoulbassJr. I,m almost finished building a modular synthesizer wich I would like to put on youtube. My background is classical, but I would like to try some jazz improvisation on the moog later ok?
sounds like daft punk lol

@AndreasSWF Please... No drum beat. That would ruin all the sound....

Is ther any possible way I could get a notation of this version of the prelude? The monophonic touch creates such a crazy feel to it.

this is uber nice, but how did u play so fast???
Synthdude13 3 years ago
Thank you!
Do you mean why or how to play fast?
I like this Bach piece to be fast and practice it by making notegroup of all the chords in this piece then its more easy to play it fast.
You can also make rythm variations and accent to intergrate it in fingers and brain.
I belive it is many ways, but this works for me.
