ps get a good quality respiratory mask with add on filters for under helmet welding and filters for grinding!! and "sealed" not the "side holes kind" safety goggles when grinding,,, and dont forget about the uva-uvb safety glasses for under helmet welding.
you should get a real bench grinder, if you accidently let go o f a piece of metal, it will fling into your face... youll breathe the dust and aluminoxide will hurt.. thats why a hand grinder, a chop saw, and bench grinder have covers.. also you need gloves just for tig, or youll contaminant your rod as you push it in the weld from handle dirty metal..., it looked like you were going to chop off you hand with the angle grinder haa, but overall good project, i built a hexagon..ps get a mask!!
