  • What sucks is youtube comments, oh no, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

  • Or maybe it's his doppelgänger on the Twitter page.

  • Back when LA had an official Indie radio station, David Lynch would call in and do weather reports like this all the time, with little random tidbits at the end. This one here is a rare example of one where he actually tells you the location he's giving the weather from.

  • Has he been watching Police Academy movies? Great lip-sync job!

  • He's probably lying...

  • W

    T

    F

    ?

  • Whoooooooo cares? :-)

  • Hopefully he'll make his possessed hand a twitter page also

  • @Ichiboy900

Don't ask why he does that thing with his hand.

  • why is this so funny

  • 15 people are fucking bullshit watchs movies on iphones and listen to justin bieibiier

  • I'm driving. I'm crashing. I'm dying.

  • Everyone likes cows cause they give milk. And cheese is made from milk you know. And milk comes from cows.

    :)

  • Just press "2" like a million times :D

  • Twitter is one of the most direct ways to contact someone as famous as David Lynch. Why would you turn down such an opportunity.

  • I freakin love david lynch. he's brilliant.

  • @MaghoxFr there's there this thing on the internet that allows the semantic connection of content though a link of some sort. Forget what these hyper cool links are called tho. Also, aren't you cutting your own argument off at the knees by posting twitter length comments?

  • He criticises watching movies on a cellphone but he uses twitter... GET REAL!

  • @nunobelo What are you trying to conciliate?

  • Lack of facial hair notwithstanding, David Lynch looks just like unabomber Ted Kaczynski. For maximum effect, compare photos of the two when they were young.

  • Twitter is the proof that nowadays people not only have way too much free time, but they don't do anything with it, it's the comfort age, a plain times in the slope of evolution. Does anyone thinks that is possible to express any idea in less than 140 characters? Fuck twitter

  • @MaghoxFr Couldn't have said it better myself

  • They should make a film about how Twitter ends...not begins.

  • David Lynch said in october 2010 in Goslar, germany: "I am not in social networks in the internet. There are someones they say I am but who cares." So I would say: His weather report is nothing but to say: This is pointless.

  • Big Hair Big Mind Big Fish

    Exponential consciousness enlivened

    Clown-suit of negativity dissolving

Thank you David for being you

  • Well Lynch, is a strange director!

    Only twits go on Twitter!

I have a new name for its called! Twatter!

I wouldn’t seriously waste my time, on this twat site!

  • Andy Roony.

  • @diekontrolleure

asking that makes you look like an idiot to everyone else

  • @diekontrolleure boy do I think youre an idiot.

  • @diekontrolleure do me a favor and jump from the nearest bridge

  • i like how he can keep up with technology like this

  • "I just created a Twitter account." "This is me on my Twitter page." "I'm writing a message on Twitter." "I'm reading my message on Twitter." "I'm writing another message on Twitter." "I'm describing my message on Twitter." "I'm documenting on Twitter." "I'm reading my messages on Twitter." "I'm writing..." ect. Has this paradox been reported yet? (until you run out of space.)
  • What's a Twitter?? Did I miss a meeting?

  • It's such a sadness, to think you can connect to other people on your FUCKING Twitter.

  • David is pure art. Even his voice speaks after his mouth moves.

    That's deep.

  • Twitter is the child that was finally born of the "ME Generation" that began sometime in the last fifteen years or so. It is based around the idea that the individual is more important than the surrounding masses. This is an era of self-obsession, folks. Please try to resist it. Help yourself and help somebody else, that's my idea.

  • @sturmraist50 And youtube replies aren't full of conceited "jackoff" opinions? Give me a frickin break! You are a hypocrite for even going that route.

  • @bathroommonkey76

Not so much. If I take the time to actually reply on Youtube, it is because I would like to add to or disagree with a comment I've read, thus providing a more rounded explanation, and possibly make others think from a different vantage point. Commenting to give information is not like Twitter. It is not conceited. It is simply having a conversation. You STILL don't know what I'm doing right now. That's the point. :)

  • @sturmraist50 If a bunch of left or right wing ideologues are disagreeing over a political story on Twitter then there is a "conversation" going on. Not everyone on that site posts: "Well, I'm dry humping the couch." "I jacking off to one of David Lynch's movie scenes." "I'm fingering my ass to pictures of Carrot Top." People in general whether it is on Twitter, Youtube, FB or any other social networking site BELIEVE that their opinions matter. A little ego boost here and there...You believed in

  • @sturmraist50 your comment so much that you decided to post your opinion to try and get me to respond. Do you think highly of yourself? I'm not too sure. All I can go off of are the remarks you made a couple of weeks ago: "Twitter is the child that was finally born of the "ME Generation"---You're so full of yourself you don't even realize what you are talking about! Is that comment you made going to halt the all Twitter traffic? Just another jackoff opinion from the millions of jackoffs online.

  • @sturmraist50 I forgot to mention that there are sites that help stretch the 140 character limit on Twitter. This is for the tweets that need more of an explanation. I've met a lot of really witty, smart folks on that site. Lynch is one of the coveted Twits out there. Without Roger Ebert, Tom Waits and the countless other intelligent posters out there Twitter would be nothing more than an status update on Myspace or Facebook.

  • @bathroommonkey76

No, I don't believe I'm full of myself just because I shared an opinion. The point is, everyone brings something to the table, an opinion or piece of information. And on one hand, we can learn a lot from other online users. On the other, the internet is also full of pointless updates like the sites you mention.

In any case, I do not support Twitter, as it is the tool of conceited individuals who believe people actually read what they are doing; however,

  • @bathroommonkey76

I do support intelligent conversation like what we're having, an exchange of ideas. Feel free to keep talking, I have enjoyed this.

  • I am sitting on youtube typing this message. That is my twitter page.

  • and emmm That is me mmm on twitter page, hahahahahah!

  • thats not even him talking.. lol

  • this reminds me when he would do the weather daily for indie 103.1 in L.A.

  • no need to get excited, David. it's just Twitter.

  • hahahaha

  • hahahaha

  • and now...your local weather with David Lynch.

PS he still has the COOLEST HAIR!

  • The next fase is a webpage where you can post messages about what you are posting on Twitter

  • If you don't do anything more interesting than that, I agree...

  • His hairstyle is art itself.

  • Twitter is not a good social network, while myspace has multiplied advancements, such as uloading pictures, movies, videos and their personal intressets. twitter is nothing more than just telling one thing at time. So why use Twitter? well my theory is that people use twitter now because of the fad. alot of celebreties use it, as well as the annoying internet celebrities such as: Perez hilton & shane dawson etc. Twitter is more of the epidemy of conformity.

  • @DrowningArt94 That's retarded. The success of twitter stems from it's simplicity. Can I always see what an unlimited amount of celebrities are doing, or saying, on myspace? Only if they add me, which they probably wont, because they do not want to be heckled by fans all the time. Twitter allows a social connection THROUGH it's disconnect. I cannot speak to any celebrities via twitter. Twitter is not a social networking website, it is not an alternative, it is a sidekick to social networking

  • ORLY?

  • cum sandwich

  • Silly Twitter. Tweets are for twits...

  • @TroggDoor and twats

  • "That is me on the twitter page" - hehe....

  • This is so surreal....

  • @drucillamalfoy you've only got 5 thumbs down so far.

  • He is not a film maker. he is an artist that just so happens to use film as his medium.

  • @Daltonn0810 and what is the definition of filmmaker?!?@#? omg

  • @Daltonn0810

I consider myself neither poet, composer, nor musician. These are merely tools used by sensitive men to carve out a piece of beauty or truth they hope may lead to peace and salvation.

  • @drucillamalfoy Maybe you should think it like a. schwarzenegger:"i'm not an actor, i'm a movie star". ;)

  • @drucillamalfoy But ya know, Ms. Malfoy, J.K. Rowling is completely underrated and underappreciated and misunderstood :P

Just sayin... I happen to love both Lynch and Rowling. I effin hate Tolkien and Led Zeppelin tho... I'm kinda weird like that...

  • orly?

  • If david said that i believe him

  • hes hot id suck his cok

  • @bulletin0 learn to spell =P

  • david lynch ftw

  • Thanks David--great to know that is REALLY you on twitter! Let's get a life folks!

  • i AM jacking off

  • Twitter fucking sucks, why would you waste your time telling everyone what youre doing:" I am jackking off" or "I am going to the gym" or: "I am eating a sandwich".

  • Because when David Lynch eats a sandwich, it's like "I was walking down the street in Boston eating a sandwich when a Navajo mystic ran up to me and asked to kiss my hands. Then we were chased into an alley by a cop with a lazy eye and an 'I like Ike' pin clipped to his uniform." Because that's how Lynch rolls. I don't think you can fit all that on Twitter, though.

  • Huh ? If you can fit it in a youtube comment you can definitely fit it on twitter.

  • LOL...

  • I can understand why musicians, actors, directors, and people like that have one, but some of the time they take it to an extreme. It's an easy tool to keep your fans up to date without having to go through the pain of updating your website.

  • @DrowningArt94 Haha love it! I just thought I'd let you know that J20M07 is going to take a shit...

  • Eh, some celebrities post funny tweets sometimes. LarryKColumn is a fake celebrity but hysterical. Sarah Silverman's are pretty funny, too...

  • CWRetardRage99: "i'm a twitter commenter!"

    "DrowningArt is being a douche"

    "Alright, comment time"

    "OK text is coming out"

  • @DrowningArt94 If you dont know twitter can be used to get a custom newsfeed with the things that you actually are interested in just like RSS.

  • @DrowningArt94 Twitter is great for businesses and for following people who you like, filmmakers etc.. Whatever you're interested in. Give it a try. I had the same opinion as you until I started following people on Twitter. You don't have to tweet anything if you don't want to, and I agree that tweeting things like "I'm having a shite" or "I'm scratching my eyelid" is silly. But most people don't do that.

David Lynch is on Twitter. It's a way of staying connected to the world.

  • @BrideAndGroomFilmsHD but what if i don´t like being connected to the world?

  • @DrowningArt94 Then don't connect. The choice is yours.

  • @DrowningArt94 Someone like David Lynch would have something more interesting to say than that, trust me

  • @DrowningArt94 I can see you've used it.

  • @ReallySoStrange how can i have used it when i don't got an account? i don't even got a facebook.

  • @DrowningArt94 I am eating a sandwich while jacking off at the gym! What a coincedence.

  • @unholyimage holy shit, that is what i am doing right now. damn those muscle tits...

  • @DrowningArt94 if you're talking exclusively about your own actions on Twitter, and not saying anything interesting about the world around you, you're a tool

  • @stealthwang How can you say someting interesting in 140 characters? Al the interesting things I've read are no less than 10 pages, in average. You can't develop a thought on twitter, it's the ultima post modern expression of fast food thinking. Twitter is shit.

  • @DrowningArt94 Nobody uses Twitter for that, idiot.

  • @DrowningArt94 Even more sad than all the posting, are those who follow someone elses

  • @DrowningArt94

The same can be said about writing comments on YouTube videos, so get off of your fucking high horse you silly cunt.

  • @DrowningArt94

Artist use twitter as a tool for promoting there latest projects. That's why...

  • does David Lynch have a official YouTube channel?

  • I've never checked his twitter but I heard he gets into really deep and meaningful things...leave it to Lynch to make blogging art.

  • he looks sad

  • I would be sad too if I had to do something stupid just to prove my identity

  • Lmao

    i fucking love david

  • oh he gave us a weather report:P

  • @yoinkz he does a weather report every day.

  • He just loves that blue golden sky of LA and coffee. I enjoy every sunny day-that is few-so I dig this missoula boy- lets drink some damn good coffee!

  • hey deepest blue, he never said it was warm shitmuff

  • My interpretation of David explaining the weather, tempature, etc. is that Twitter is fucking pointless. Just my two cents...

  • Sometimes things with point are the least fun.

  • I dunno, man. He's been doing this weather thing for a few years now, before twitter was a thing.

  • Exactly- your interpretation.

  • If that was his intent, he just would have said "Twitter is fucking pointless"

    Lynch doesn't mince words

  • @bakbak5 It is something he does on his website, or used to. He gives a daily weather report everyday. It's funny because he is in California and the weather is the same every day. heh. Its always, "Beautiful blue skies, golden sunshine..."

  • @bakbak5 David Lynch is on Twitter. He loves it.

  • and it appears to be that ben stiller and david are friends now

  • LOL

  • man, i wish i could hang out with david lynch.

  • does he have a facebook page? I'd like to add him as a friend but Im so sick and tired of subscribing to all these network sites.

  • just as everyone does :)

  • It really IS David Lynch on the twitter page!

  • i lol'd

  • dry humor

  • I follow him and enjoy his tweets very much :)

  • HILARIOUS

  • "That is me on the Twitter page."

    I'm sold!

  • that brought a smile to my face, thanks Dave

  • OoO that was interesting hahaha.. but yeah i enjoyed this video.. fun, entertaining, what more could i ask for. hehe :]

  • Twitter is a great way to build a psychological profile of someone. I guess that could be used for psychological operations(psyops).

  • Youtube comments is a great way to build a psychological profile of someone. I guess that could be used for psychological operations(psyops).

  • Yes, your are correct.

  • Indeed we are, my good friend. Do you by any chance smoke?

  • He's got fancy hair. I like it

  • David, get off my lawn!

  • I want to have a cheeseburger with this man, followed by some coffee in an Egon Schiele mug.

  • so cool

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, apparently I am. I'm sorry I am not an all knowing god such as yourself. Perhaps you would be so kind to provide the world with the cure for cancer and AIDS?

I never saw anything he directed, appeared in, or read any of his books. Of course, if the people who enjoy them are anything like you, I'm glad I did not waste my time.

  • Please don't let some judgemental fool put you off exploring David's work; he is without doubt one of the most inventive, strange and innovative film makers in existence. I can heartily recommend his works Eraserhead and Mullholland Drive; just be prepared for a great deal of mind-screwing strangeness and absurdity.

  • Have been listening to David's audio book "Catching the Big Fish". Big ups to him for sharing some of his ideas.

  • My God!

Lynch don't know what to do, lately is involved in very poor stuffs, without any deep knowledge.

I'm a BIG fan of his art, I think INLAND EMPIRE was one of the greatest films in the history, but now, selling books of TM? Making Horribles promos for box sets with the same films we all already have.

    Please, made films!

  • Whats TM?

  • transcendental meditation.

  • Comment removed

  • weird, i could swear i have seen this video long time ago, him talking about weather "golden sunshine" ant everything... was there a video similar to this one?

  • He has dozens of these. He apparently does a weather report in LA every single morning (on the radio I think?).

  • He puts up a new weather report on his website almost every day.

  • He's certainly twittin' pretty

  • hahaha, S2 Lynch

  • i twittin' believe.

  • Great to hear, I certainly will be following

  • so awesome

  • I would love to see more dumbland cartoons.

  • as I twitted to you... Excellent! Weirdly enough I enjoyed that. :)
