No that is not autotune people that is how Chaka Khan's voice sounds when she hits high notes, her voice takes on a sort of trumpet slash jazzy sound which she's very well known for. She has never needed to be autotuned because her voice is its own autotune. Y'all better get with it and don't sleep on Miss Khan, look at her live performances and listen to her voice.

@OklaHomaDummy Yes, there is autotune int he mic...But that was ALL of Chaka's doing...Her vocal abilities allows her to do that nice jerking method with notes. The autotune in the mic was just to enhance the vocals...There was not vocal correction autotune in the mics...She doesn't sound like T-Pain throughout the whole song...That's pitch correction autotune...They used vocal enhancer auto-tune...BIG DIFFERENCE! Chaka just has HIGHS like NO OTHER!!!!!!

as for the off-key singing: this is not some tone-deaf amateur but chaka khan, a first rank funk, blues and jazz singer. in difference to pop music in these music genres slight off-key is exactly how it is supposed to be.

on many chaka khan recordings a note appears to be "wrong" at first listening, but after carefully re-listening one realizes that it is no flaw in the singing but exact working towards the desired musical impression.

Can somebody please make sure that the person that decided to put autotune on this gets fired? It sounds extremely bad, and we all know Chaka Khan is a good singer capable of hitting the notes good enough anyway. If you don't know how to use pitch correction tools, like the person that did this, then stay the hell away from it. I personally know HOW to use it, and WHEN to use it.
